 With a bright smile, Aurora was pleased to meet another creature of the ocean. "A mermaid? Wondeful!" Her first friend at the school, and they already has so much in common. As she waded deeper into the water, she asked with a haughty expression, "Would you like to swim?"

God yes " she says cheerfully moving into deeper water she she can swim and move more easily .

Laughing in her melodic voice, Aurora went deeper into the ocean, enjoying the cool moisture that seeped into her skin. Grabbing the girls hand, she submerged, only having enough time to challenge, "I wonder who can collect the prettiest shell?"

With a smirk still on her face, Aurora searched along the sandy bottom of the ocean. Throughly enjoying herself, she couldn't help but hum a light-hearted tune, finding a small pink shell.

~~~~~~~~Different Day~~~~~~~~~  Lounging on the sand, Seth was perfectly content with watching the waves on this day. He dearly missed the ocean, and had to resist from jumping in now. There was a bond he would never lose with the waters, but for now he needed to resist the sea. Pulling out a book for his english class, he flipped to his current page, knowing that time was running out for the project.

Tabby didn't worry about Seth after they had that 'chat'. The girl didn't want to worry her child. The woman thought it was time that the two of them go to the beach for a while. They lived on a island. Why not? The girl had dropped her stuff off and walked to the shore. She walked slowly as she had Yvette who was walking on her own follow behind her. Once they reached the shore it wasn't long before her mother turn to walk along it. The baby followed behind her. Little waves soon came up to Yvette feet and she slipped falling in the mud. The infant let out a loud scream of displeasure.

Looking up at the sound of a child's yell, Seth sat up. His eyes scanned the shore and, unfortunately, spotted Tabby. Would he ever get rid of the feeling of hatred that burned within when he saw her? Standing up, he approached the waves as he spoke harshly, "Great mothering Tabby." Picking up the infant from the mud, he continued speaking, uncaring of the mud that smeared his shirt from Yvette's little feet. "Water can be a dangerous thing, especially the ocean."

Tabby had turned around when her child started to scream. She even was heading towards the infant when her ex had picked Yvette up. He was so lucky that she didn't have her wand and wasn't a person who could use their figures yet. "What do you know about raising children. If Yvette didn't experience things on her own she wouldn't grow up to be a proper person in society. I don't want her to turn out like you." She responded back opening her arms to demand the infant.

Glaring at Tabby, he didn't refrain from speaking rashly, "I know plenty. And perhaps I wish for my daughter to be a young lady of the royal court?" He glanced down to Yvette before readjusting her to a more comfotable position. "She is half siren, and grand-daughter of the king. Unlike your blood-line, we have a place in society."

Tabby glared. She was a proud upcoming member of the wizards counsel. They had some ranking in life unlike what he said. "Who says I want her to live as a royal. In fact I'll refuse her becoming royal, ever, I'll protect my daughter from you." The young woman commented. She didn't want the paparazzi near her daughter. If the press found out that Yvette was Seth's daughter there would be so many rumors. She'll end up with the title of the illegitimate child of Prince Seth, Princess Yvette.

Seth's eyes narrowed as Tabby spoke. His daughter, whether or not he would have more children, was Seth's first born. And, without a son, would be a future queen should he die. Refraining from pointing out such, he simply said, "Listen to me Tabbitha. I agreed that no one but my family know of Yvette until she is eighteen. However, she will be a royal when that time comes. And as soon as she starts school, she will also visit my home." He nodded, glancing out to the ocean before studying the witch's expression and reaction to his words. His daughter was half siren, and would eventually have to learn such.

Tabby really didn't want her daughter even possibly caught with Seth. That was just an image waiting to be put on a tabloid. "How about not. I'll take her to private indoor dances and events, but nothing outside and she is not going home at any moment until she is an adult who is ready for it." The teen argued against what he said. That meant no playing tennis, no golf, no trips to another country. She didn't want Yvette to go anywhere that a photograph would be taken.

Thinking for a moment, Seth was almost able to agree to such terms. However, it seemed almost too restricted, and he spoke openly about his thoughts. "But she deserves a grand life." he responded, glancing down to the child for a moment. Yvette was a beautiful girl, and he could never deny lineage to her, yet, he knew the mother deserved privacy. Sighing, he added, "Children deserve to play. What would be so terrible if my entire land knew I held a child?"
