singlikenoonecanhearyou I suppose, but honestly in the HP books, it was never really mentioned elsewhere. It just seemed like Voldemort was the last one. Plus if one slytherin is, i get the feeling everyone else will want to be, and thats just really unlikely. But my characters unique trait is to speak every language. ~She's not just a parseltongue.

And let Callysto be her parselmouth. Just tell everyone else if they dare HINT they could speak snake, Aludra will take them down to the dungeons, hang them by their big toes, and beat them with a possume.

alrighty, aludra you dont need to be a penguin but callysto pleasee can u not be parselmouth =[ i really dont want anyone to speak it. im sorry, but it just really would seem like favoritism. i mean, if anyone were in the guild for long enough, they should be a metamorphigus and an animagus, sien that is at least possible. but being a parselmouth...well...in the hp books the last one we know of died. it just seems a bit ridic. you can speak any other language tho, mermish, anything. but please no parseltounge, i said no exceptions, and i dont want to go back on my word.

My original character, Callysto was gifted the ability to speak all languages by the Goddess on the day of her birth. This is how I play her in every other role-play I have done. She can speak to snakes and that has nothing to do with the guild, or Harry Potter, as I use her in many non-HP role-plays as well. But, since you are so uptight about it I will refrain from speaking to any snakes while here.

Im not trying to be uptight...im just saying....i dont think thats really accurate to harry potter or hogwarts, and this is a roleplay guild, if we could make up whoever we wanted, we would have parseltounges, metamorphigus, animagi, running all over the place. im sorry, but you know that i have been pretty lenient, i said if aludra wants to be metamorphigus and animagus, alright, she has been her a while. you can teach language, and speak whatever you want, which is pretty rare for someone who is just about to graduate when the only two people in HP could was barty crouch and albus dumbeldore. I've never heard of someone being gifted the ability to speak to snakes. its inherited, or im sure there'd be more of them. so this is the one time i need to say please don't. if people were gifted random things by goddess's, then this roleplaying would be chaos. im asking you nicely callysto, im pleading with you, even if you can roleplay as a parseltounge in other guilds, which i honestly don't mind, there are no parseltounges here in this guild. what you do in other guilds may be different, and i dont mind if you speak it there. but not here

Most of what you just said, didn't make any sense. And I already agreed not to speak it here.

Alright. Thank you. You made it sound as though you could speak it and you were refraining from it. You can have the ability to speak it anywhere else, but here, no one can.
And the summary of what I said was basically that if I allowed everyone to do whatever they liked, to be animagus, to speak it, to be metamorphigus, im telling you, it'd be chaos here.
I really hope we're oaky callysto, please just understand that I just want to keep everything in order and not show that I have favorites, even if i do.

That is because she can. What if I said she learned parseltongue. She has a pet snake after all.

I highly doubt that's possible...if you want to try, you can, but I would just prefer if you weren't born with it, since that isn't possible. you can make attempts in your language class, but we all can't make ourselves seem perfect and just so amazing, since mistakes are what makes roleplaying more insteresting. If it weren't for the characters imperfections in books, then they wouldnt even be interesting. So, you can make attempts and all in your classroom. That i don't mind. you can say things like your trying to re-create parseltounge or something. Its just knowing it automatically definitly can't be real.

Haha alrighty. As long as you weren't born with it, and you say things like you know, your still learning it type of thing, because no one can be perfect, even though you may be close haha smile
