Baihu found a good poem that he was going to read aloud as a way to flirt with his bride. The man turned on his heels and noticed the man in the scarf. He made a polite nod at the man before he turned on his heels and towards Vera. When he got in viewing distance he noticed an elf approach and started to talk to her. Baihu wasn't usually the jealous type, but something about this guy acting so familiar annoyed him, but he didn't act just yet. He waited to see what this man would do. Making plans as he watched.

(Lmao. I can SO easily imagine Ozora going, Maul? No, too messy. Shift and drag him around? Out of the question. Hmm...choke his air out and stop his breathing? No, too noisy and noticeable. What to do, what to do... in his head XD)

Chad nodded back at the man then grabbed three books and put them down with the others on the table and sat down. he took the pen from his pocket and took the paper and opened the first book he had brought which was a vintage book he licked the tip of the pen and began to write on the papers. Chad was sort of an old fashion kind of person he used books instead the internet he had no phone or computer, perfured writing rather than txting and email nad his paper was never lined paper. it was normaly parchment. he wrote in what just looked like squiggles but was actualy Arabic. he paused and looked at the group once more. they were very interseting to him for no reason really either

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo. Care To Dance?" Looking up curiously as someone passed her, Aurora's gaze traveled to her friend quickly when it seemed that this stranger was addressing her. Slowly, she set down her pencil, though she left her notebook and textbook open. She remained where she was, just close enough to Vera to catch the tail-end of her words, which let her know quickly that something was off. Frowning, she surprised herself by looking to Baihu, who would easily be able to chase off this man if a problem arose. After spotting him, she determined that he wasn't too far, and if need be, the siren had her own magic ready to use. Of course, her's wasn't as useful in a fight as her twin's would have been, but it would still provide a nice distraction.
Faintly smiling at Vera as her face was shown, he took a moment to study it. The shape of her eyes reminded her strongly of their mother, but he kept from saying so just yet. He would need to introduce himself first, and even then he was sure that things would prove to be more complicated than he’d like. He moved back just slightly as she stood, though Vanni immediately rose his hand to compare their heights. She was only three inches shorter than he, a fact that made him grin and tell her, "Oh! You‘ve got an elf's height, haven't you?" Most elves were tall, and it seemed that she was no exception. Yet, he managed to reign all the comments he wished to make, and instead answered her question. "I am Giovanni Silversoul-of-the-Earth. As great and fancy as that sounds, I know it's long, so just call me Vanni." He flashed a brilliant smile, then rocked back on his heels as he continued, "Of course, you can call me anything close to my name, as you are my little sister, and I have several nicknames." He was still smiling, though he stopped his movement when he noticed the blue-haired woman approach his sister. He rose a brow, and then asked Vera, "Do I get to meet this friend of your‘s? She‘s quite a beauty."
Gasping aloud, Aurora moved a hand up to her mouth, mentally scolding herself for reacting so strongly. She'd been listening to the man speak, but there was nothing that was thinking that came close to what he claimed. How could he be so closely related to Vera? Well, he obviously wasn't, just a joker who thought he was funny. Standing from her seat, she moved to hover just to the side of her friend, concern creasing her eyebrows. Her expression remained like that for several seconds before she heard Vanni’s question, to which she shot him a frosty glare and said, "I do not like pranksters. Especially ones that try to play tricks on my friends." She held his gaze for a moment longer, and then broke away, noting sourly that she was almost an entire foot shorter than he.

Vera didn't answer but reached a hand back to lay on her friend's shoulder, reassuring herself with Aurora's presence but also reassuring the siren the half-elf was okay. Sort of. She quirked a quick tired smile as the moment grew tense, at Giovanni's excitement and Aurora's cool response to him. "She's a siren...of course she's beautiful," Vera commented in a low murmur, squeezing Aurora's shoulder slightly to show she hadn't meant anything derogatory about Aurora personally. "But she has a bit of a temper, which always makes her fun." There, that should help things a bit. "And I don't like jokers either." Vera frowned, expression puzzled and in a harsh way almost demanding. "How do you have proof of this?" It wasn't TOO hard to prove bloodlines...if you knew how. But Vera never knew her mother, so unless she tried to call her father to verify...she flicked a glance to Baihu, chewing on her lip for a moment. Is it possible I can whistle up my father, like he does his children? Would he mind? Would he even be able to drop whatever he's doing and come? she wondered, looking back at Giovanni and taking a step closer to Aurora, then another until she was slightly behind her friend...but also clear to fight if needed, NOT quite completely hiding behind the siren. The blue in her silver eyes grew, until only a silver ring showed at the outer edge of her irises, in her stress.
Gyer growled, but stayed hidden at the moment, Ryuu coming up to sit on Vera's other side with his own growl, the mountain cat easily the size of a Saint Bernard, possibly bigger. Greator came up behind Giovanni, a hulking scaly presence that eyed the man with cold reptile eyes, Vera closing her own and working to control her rising uncertainty...and to better control her friends. Leave, please... she murmured in Dragon, the rough sounds still necessarily guttural but now no different than if Vera was speaking, say, German, and giving the language a more elegant cast with her changed lilting voice. Greator huffed a foul-smelling breath of hot air past Giovanni as he grumped, but turned and left, Ryuu as well after Vera scratched his head by her waist for a moment. "They...are very zealous when it comes to my protection," Vera calmly explained in English, opening her more-silver eyes again, calmer. "They would happily tear you limb from limb if they thought you a threat." Vera giggled. "It's kind of cute, actually...if a touch overbearing," she stated with a slight flush before looking around. "Maybe we should take this outside..." she murmured, thinking if things got...active...she'd want the room to fly and fight. And leave the books unharmed.

Baihu knew that the girls could see him and there was no real reason to hide and he came out. The others man's back was to the man. Baihu was ready to take action if his bride asked him too. His look turned to surprise when he mentioned that he was her brother. It wasn't impossible. Normally the guardians had many children with different lovers and didn't marry. He was probably the first to get married and only by losing a gambling game. This man would have to have proof before anyone was going to take him seriously.

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo. Care To Dance?" Making a sound of recognition when it was explained that the blue-haired woman was a siren, he nodded. "I don't mind a temper. Adds zest." he winked at Aurora, but otherwise kept his attention on Vera. It seemed that she was a quiet girl, but he was hopeful that they would be able to speak more. "But for now, I'm here for you, Vera." When she demanded proof of his lineage, he shrugged, and was about to respond when he noticed the others. Well, the dragons had been right; she was well protected, which gave honestly made him feel a bit better. Instead of appearing afraid, he attempted to make himself seem even more nonchalant, as he knew that acting as a threat now could be harmful, even fatal. Once it was clear that he wasn't going to be mauled at the moment, he grinned at his sister's comment of her friend's overzealousness. "I think you're right. Let's all go outside and talk. I'd hate to disrupt those who need to study."
"Too late." mumbled Aurora, though it was under her breath and she was sure that only Vera would be able to hear. She didn't necessarily mind having an excuse to prcocastinate, though she once a first impression was made, it took a long time for her to change her opinions of a person. Sighing softly, she looked to Vera, letting her exit the building first.

Giving a tired-sounding sigh, Vera glanced behind her at Aurora, looking apologetic. The half-elf had been getting a bit loud with her stress and reactions, and could feel her insides warming, although the sensation stayed mainly around her fingertips; Vera still sucked at BREATHING fire, but could THROW it like as a spell pretty well. Looking around, Vera decided there were too many people around who would notice if the group all left together, and the half-elf moved to a window. Opening it, Vera wore that same kind of bothered expression of resignation, before she hopped up onto the sill. Jumping off, Vera easily made the landing and set off towards the gardens, staying slow so people...mainly Giovanni...would know where to go.Exit, stage left via window, Vera - to The Gardens

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo. Care To Dance?" Allowing Vera and Baihu to go about their own way, which was through the window, she chose to take the stairs to the first floor. While she didn't want to become the unofficial guid for Giovanni, she did not know how to jump from a window and not get injured; therefore, she was taking the more relaxed route and giving her friend some thinking time in the process. She was on the stairs by now, her feet automatically heading towards the front door when she realized that the man was speaking to her. Pausing for a moment, she asked, "Huh, what?" "I asked for your name." Frowning faintly, she told him, though only because it was the polite thing to do when she already knew his name. "Aurora."
Grinning when her name was given, he continued walking, taking the lead for several seconds until the girl realized such, and immediately pulled ahead. After a moment, he chuckled at her overall tense attitude, and commented lightly on such. "You look upset, which I think is odd. Don't get me wrong, your still very cute, but by now, I think it should be obvious that I'm not kidding about Vera and I being related. He smiled, then added as an extra thought, "You know, she has our mother's eyes." He was halfway through a shrug, his gaze wandering slightly to the arch above the library's exit and entry way when he bumped into someone, effectively pulling him to a stop. Looking down, he was surprised to see Aurora as the cause, and rose brow as he opened his mouth to question her actions. "Wha-" However, he was cut off quickly by her own exclamation. "Stop it!" Now clearly confused, he slowly put up both of his hands in a sign of innocence as he tentaively asked, "Stop doing what? Flirting? Alright, that's fine. You didn't need to ye-" He was cut off once more by her words, though she managed to keep her voice restrained to a fierce whisper. "No, I don't care about that. Hearing that, he grinned, and was about to comment on such when she continued speaking, not willing to give him a chance to twist her comment. "What I mean is stop acting like you've always known her! She's already going through alot emotionally, and then you literally appear from nowhere! You have no clue as to what her past has been like." Despite the fact that Giovanni wanted to remain nonchalant, he managed a serious expression for just long enough to let the siren know that he understood what she meant. "Look, Aurora, I get it. And I realize you worry for and about her. That's good, because at this time, you do know her better then me. But elves live a long time, and I know that she's half dragon, which adds plenty more time. He paused, running a hand through his hair as he looked away for a few seconds, remembering what little information he had on this woman's race. When he spoke again, he looked back to meet her stern gaze, doing his best to show how earnest he felt. "From what I've heard, Sirens barely outlive humans, and that is not long at all. So please try to understand that my appearance now is like some brother of yours showing up when you're a teenager. There's still time, even if she's grown alot. Now, are we okay?"
Sighing, Aurora nodded to show that she understood what was meant behind his words. She stepped back, giving him some space as she turned to continue down the rest of the stairway. "Yes." she told him, her tense attitude effectively relaxing back into her usual cheery self, albeit it was subdued. "Good. Then I'll get back to work on getting your number." She rolled her eyes at his latest comment, but otherwise didn't claim insult; in fact, it was any other time, she might have responded, but for now, she wanted to get out of the library and outside.

Chad kept writing and listening to the group in the library which made him have a smile on his face he closed on book and opened another and wrote on a new piece of paper. He then took his scarf getting a bit warm then layed it on the table. He sat writing very quickly and put his pen dow standing up once more to get new books.

Ammy was currently sitting at a table, nose buried in a book about various types of mythological creatures, trying to forget about the flying lesson that morning. She had flown in in such a rush, thinking she was late, she almost bowled over several students, and when she landed, she stumbled and fell face-first into the dirt. That was so embarrassing... Way to go, Windcrasher, she thought once again. At least she didn't have to endure the stares and snickering anymore. I'm a better flier than that... Oh gosh, what does the teacher think? She screwed up her face as she tried to concentrate on the book once more.

Lucian Crow Lucian still felt a little sore after this morning's flight lesson. No pain no gain sure, but good lord the flight teacher was pushy. He entered the library and started scanning the shelves, trying to find something interesting. He wasn't looking for anything specific, just going on instinct mostly. He plucked a book from the shelf and went looking for a table to sit at. There was a reasonably empty one. "Excuse me." He said quietly. "You don't mind if I sit here do you?"
