Toorn held up his knife as he dodged out of the way. As the man held up his knife, Christine threw up a barrier around Asmodeus. She didn't trust and blade held by someone that crazy. It could be a trick knife, like the ones used around camp, the ones that spew fake blood. He felt the knife's pull as it snagged on his coat. But it didn't rip.
What the...?He looked at his knife as his shoulder smashed into the floor of the caravan. The tip was dented slightly, as if he hit something harder than steel. He looked around, confused, beyond compare, wondering what the hell dented his blade. Christine ducked as the man scanned the room, hoping he didn't see her. "My blade...you hurt my blade." He mumbled, standing up quickly.

Madlen looked up tiredly as they two fought, she tried to get up to help but her limbs were too weak. She let out a shout as she saw the knife disapper past Asmodeus but it returned clean and bent. She laughed, looking at Toorn. "That's your god telling you that your an idiot and shouldn't murder your brother. Did you learn nothing from Caine and Abel?"

Asmodeus smied as he thought of how to spin the event. "You see, Toorn? God does not want you to kill me. God wants me to live. Will you take his warning or will you let your greed get in the way?" he asked. He would have to thanks Christine later. He owed her dearly.

Altair kept looking for Christine, when he saw her by the caravan. He knew she would be protecting Asmodeous, and that Toorn would see her if he called to her. He silently and stealthily went over, giving her a warning with a shadow shaped like an arrow pointing behind her to indicate he was coming from there. He got next to her and nodded. He hid her in shadows but made it so she could see everything perfectly. Altair stood, standing in view of the doorway, his blade out and dripping red with his own blood. He glared at Toorn. "I would take the offer Toorn... I don't give people painless death's... Especially not people like you..." He said, his voice a growl.
My cold blade shall be the last thing you will feel.. Enjoy it while you still live.

 Under the radar
Out of the system  Ƚɩℓυɾα ϺαϵʋϵLilura felt trapped within the barrier. She could almost sense it was there. Assy would not risk attacking unless he was sure that she and Madlen were safe. As it was, he appeared to be pretty safe himself. She tugged gently on Madlen, hiding her face in the other girl's arm. She was incredibly fearful for Asmodeus, even though she knew he was being protected. She was too weak to do anything though, just as Madlen was. She felt more blood trickle down her neck as tears trickled down her cheeks. Caught in the spotlight

"You speak of a God you don't believe in, my brother." He said, practically growling. God was still urging him on while supposedly holding him back. Was God trying to get him killed? "The work of a demon.... I'd bet my life on it." He snarled. And if I shalt die before I wake, I pray the lord, my soul to take. "Come on brother, I can see you're holding back." If I'm going to die here tonight, I'll go down fighting as a servant of God. Not as a coward.

Christine smiled as she felt the shadow creep around her. With her bright hair, hiding in a shadow wasn't a bad idea. She looked in through the window once more, noticing the man's tune changed. He looked more... crazy if that was possible. Like he didn't care whether he lived or died. It made her sad for him. The affair isn't the only reason he hates his brother.... there's more to the story. I'm sure of it. But the wife thing may have been the straw that broke the camel's back. "The shadows is your end." Altair Lovett Altair found Toorns seemingly desperate taunts actually quite amusing. So much so that he actually laughed at him. "You speak of god's and demons and all that.. But if there is such a god, then where is he now? why is has he not come to rescue you... You, his sheep, that has 'served' him... Your scared now, because you know you have no one to back you... That you never did..." Altair said to Toorn, taunting him so as to draw his attention back at him, not Asmodeous. He knew Asmodeous was a great fighter but that was with a longsword, and he only had a knife, a dull one at that, and he knew how much that might throw him off, and that might be enough to leave of an opening for Toorn. He also hoped if he could distract Toorn long enough then Asmodeous might be able to get the girls out. My cold blade shall be the last thing you will feel.. Enjoy it while you still live.

Madlen hugged Lilura gently, wiping away her tears and trying to stop the bleeding. "The god you speak of is a kind one, one that is forgiving and not murderous. The people who run around killing innocents in the name of god are idiots who are truely serving his counter part! This young girl has done nothing sinful yet you slice her open like a feast's pig and leave her to die! How godly is that! What god would stand for that?!" She demanded from him, feeling herself weaken as she became angered. "This man is your brother." She continued, gesturing towards Asmodeus. "Yet you are willing to kill him for something that happened in the past instead of forgiving like your god wants you to. Do not speak for a god you obviously know nothing about." She finished, her breaths deepening with her rising aggitation.

"Toorn, stop this madness now. Just leave before I change my mind. You're clearly outnumbered and no God would justify the actions you've taken," Asmodeus said to his brother. He wanted to go over to Madlen and Lilura, to check on them and see how they were doing, but he knew he needed to deal with his brother first.

Toorn could only smile, listening to the warnings he was being given. "And what of you, gypsy? People in circuses have no place left to go because the world has turned them away. Yet this caravan shows you definitely came from somewhere." He knew that the circus life didn't pay much.
"An assassin... one who takes orders from another to kill. One is with us now; he reeks of death." He said, turning to the man in a mask. "In truth, I am no different from you. A man who kills someone he doesn't know because he was trained to do so. The only difference is that you're a victim this time." And he began laughing. A real laugh as though he heard something funny that everyone missed. "Tell me, what you any of you see if your worst nightmare was replayed for you?"

But he stayed himself. He glared at Toorn. "How dare you look at me and say we are the same! We are nothing alike! You kill the innocent for no reason! I only take those who have wronged by killing and preying upon the innocent and the weak for their own personal gain! I have no honor in what you do.. If anything, You are the sinner and the demon.. Not us... Now leave... Before you do so in a pine box..." He said, gripping his knife harder and stepping closer to the caravan. He had confidence he could beat Toorn. He had to beat him. My cold blade shall be the last thing you will feel.. Enjoy it while you still live.

"I have a name, you know. At least Altair knows something of the people he is to kill before trying to kill them. And if you must know I came from Armenia. My family was slaughtered, I wasn't turned away from the world, I was taken from it wrongfully by pig-headed people like you. My family had done nothing any other person at that time would have done to protect one another. Yet in the middle of the night, like ruthless cowards, soliders raided our camp and murdered my family. Children much younger than I ripped to shreds because of their origins. Because they were born into the gypsy families, something they can not help. I had to hide there and try to block out the screams of dying children!" She shouted at him, pointing to what seemed like a regular spot on the floor. "Let he without sin cast the first stone." She spat at the ground towards him, aiming at the spot just before the invisible sheild. "You are nothing but sin, sir."

"Sins are erased in death, madame." Toorn stated. "I have ridden the world of those hunted by the law. Those who had killed before my eyes. Some die slower than others. Everyone dies. It is the way god created this earth. And when my purpose is no longer required, I myself will die." He said, his voice shaking. God had given up on these people, so much so that they've completely lost his divine light. And he wished for them to suffer more. They would not die, even the half dead one. Not tonight.
"The lord has other plans for you all. Even the girl outside." He said, glancing at the window. The shadow outside was unnatural and he saw a glimpse of her before it shielded her. "I just have one question for you, dear brother." He sighed, throwing his knife into the floorboard. Even with the dented tip, it stuck in the wood. His hand were shaking badly. "Why.... Why did you leave me to die on the streets!?" He shouted, grabbing Asmodeus by the collar with both hands.
