Raising his left arm, which whirred and clicked as it moved, for the gryphon to land on if it wished, he nodded to Aylosha, loosing a little of his shyness, though he still spoke quite softly. "I understand sir. Tea would be a godsend right about now." He gives a small smile. "I'm sorry if i rambled on a bit, i'm just still a little disoriented." He reched up run his right hand through his shoulder length hair, a semi nervious gesture, as he tried to settle.

Nehanda perched cautiously upon the man's arm and began trying to peer under his shirt sleeve. This was obviously not flesh. In fact, it felt like metal! She wanted a better look at where metal joined to flesh.
(I'm assuming the shirt Fae left Orion is long-sleeved . . .)

"Nehanda, stop that!" Foenix scolded the gryphon. "I'm sorry," she said apologetically as she walked over to detatch her little girl. "Nehanda can be very curious, but she means well."

Foenix looked toward the kitchen, saying to Alyosha, "There should also be a container or two of stuff I brought over before my last trip, Aly. It's mostly snacks made with veggies and herbs from Nehanda's gardens, but there's plently if either of you is hungry. Do you need any help getting things?"

As he walked further into the kitchen to find the makings of tea he called over his shoulder to Foenix. "Tea?" he asked, searching for the goodies she had left. "I should be able to manage.."

He found the old, battered kettle and bent down to check on the gas cylinder underneath the stove, flicking the small tap open. He twisted a knob on the cooker and pressed the ignition button down. Gas hissed out, igniting into bright blue flames which flickered at the bottom of the now water filled tea kettle. Alyosha walked around searching for appropriate cups, one eye on Foenix and Orian, the other on the stove.

He could smell the gears, metal and oil. He didn't need to hear it. Odd stranger, was there any other kind?

Smiling at the woman, Orian just shook his head. "No, its all right miss. I don't mind. She was most likely trying to figure out this arm of mine." He raised his left hand toward Nehanda, showing her the metal fingers and hand, letting her exlore it and check it out all she wanted. "I'm sorry, I never introduced myself properly, did I? I am Orian Ironfist. It is a pleasure to meet you M'lady." He gives another small smile, relaxing fully, the small lines of tension disappearing around his eyes, his shoulders losing their board stiff set. He looked around the center, taking in whatever he could see, as if exploring the world anew.

Foenix lowered her hands and smiled in return. It was difficult not to; the man had a very relaxing smile. "Please call me Foenix. I'm one of the guardians on the island, and that," she indicated the swan/equine gryphon, "is Nehanda. It's very nice to meet you."

Nehanda leaned her long neck forward to inspect the metal appendage more closely. With a cautious glance toward Orion's face, she briefly nibbled on a finger; her way of testing a substance. She wobbled a bit on his arm, and lifted her large wings carefully to regain her balance, trying at the same time to avoid hitting either human with her snowy feathers.

Fae had told Orian she needed something back at her house, but it was clear he didn't hear her and had moved on himself. After skirting the house, she walked outside briskly in her clothes from yesterday. (She made a brief mental note to take a shower soon ><)

Almost panicing, it felt like she'd lost a child. Brillant green eyes scanned over the earthy grounds but couldn't find any shape of the slightly taller man. Fae glanced down to Pueblo who was at her side, like always. "He probably went to the Centre, right? That's where we were headed before," she sighed, as if asking for advice from her gryphon.

Pueblo's little eyes blinked up to her keeper, swaying a little from such neck strain. She merely bobbed her head in reply.

"Alright then, let's go see if we can find him before he gets into trouble." Fae knew that Aly wouldn't like a stranger just suddenly appearing on the island. With that in mind, she ran across the field until she pushed the doors open to the Centre. Looking around, she walked inside as Pueblo flew in behind her, slightly tipping to one side until she landed. "Orian?"

Assuming that Foenix would, of course, want tea, he made her up a cup, dunking the teabags into the water and placing the cups onto a tray with dried milk and sugar. He placed the things which he assumed Foenix had brought over through to the main room and set them all on one of the tables.

Orian, apparently, had overestimated his energy level. He had just closed his eyes for an instant, and there was a large yawn, and like that, off to sleepy land he went. Though, oddly enough, it seemed that his left arm had stuck again, this time pointing straight out, like a branch of a tree.

Foenix looked at Orian and placed a hand over her mouth to hold in a laugh. Over in the doorway, she could just make out Fae. "Hi, Fae! She whispered. "It looks like our newest stranger fell asleep on his feet! Can you help me get him over to a couch?"

As Aly returned to the main room, she looked over and smiled in gratitude. "Thanks, Aly. That tea looks just perfect."

Alyosha looked at the sleeping form , at Fae and at the tea. Net awake people: 3, Net tea: 3. Everything still seemed fine.

He looked up to Foenix as she suggested to Fae that they move him. The two little women. "I.. uh.. I'll stick him in a spare room" he said. "Only for the moment though.." He looked down at the sleeping man. Boy, really, to him.

Forgoing his tea he wrapped his arms under the prone body and hefted it. Surprisingly heavy, this little imp. He walked towards the living quarters with him, kicking open a door to one of the cramped rooms and placing the boy down on the nearby bed. He walked out of the room, closing the door behind him and headed back into the main room and picked up his tea.

Foenix blushed a bit as Aly hefted Orian and carried him into another room. she glanced over at Fae, and giggled. "So much for 'I am woman, hear me roar,' huh?"

Settling back into a chair, she lifted her tea and inhaled the soothing scents. "Mmmm, just the thing. I feel like I've spent the last four days on my feet, rushing around. It's nice to finally relax with friends.

As Nehanda flew in from the spare room, where she had followed to ensure that the new stranger was settled comfortably, the little gryphon merped and fluttered around Fae's head in welcome.

Fae looked over to the familiar voice of Foenix in alarm, but sighed in relief as she walked over. "I see he found his way here...er, where's Aly?" She asked, looking around. She spotted him coming from the kitchen with tea- so perhaps they've already met now, she assumed. "Gah! I'm sorry for not letting you know sooner upon his arrival. I had just found him last night and I knew everyone was well in bed." She pursed her lips and went quiet.

Pueblo trotted behind Fae into the familiar Centre, but hated its floor. Her paws would always slip around on the smoother surface- claws just couldn't stabilize her here. Sliding over to the group of people, she reconized everyone of them. Tilting her head back as she neared them, she wondered why she was so little since it was an unstable position. She made a small struggling sound before she gave up. Pueblo knew she saw Foenix, so where was Nehanda?

Picking up his tea he was reminded that he had only come through here for fish. Nothing else. He walked over to the counter, excusing himself from the company of the two women, picked up some of the fish (as well as some of Foenix's treats) and wandered off back to his own apartments.

((Sorry, I have thing to do ^^))

((Heh. No prob.))

Foenix nodded. So that's why his shirt looked so familiar . . . and why it didn't fit. "Orian seems like a very nice person. This island certainly attracts interesting individuals." She sipped her tea and crossed her legs, then reached into the carry-sak beside her and removing some knitting.

When Nehanda saw Pueblo slipping her poor way across the floor, she merped sympathetically and dropped to land beside her friend, offering a strong wing to support the owl/wolf gryphon. Little gryphons had to stick together!

((Aw, cya Aly.))

Fae stared as Aly suddenly left and sighed. She couldn't tell if he dissaproved of her or not, so as he left her to drown in worriness, she followed Foenix over to where she sat, watching Orian being placed into a room. She wondered how long he'd be out for, frowning. "I'm going to go keep an eye on him for a moment," she excused herself.

Pueblo suddenly saw Nehanda fly down to her and pounced! She cooed, finally finding her friend and started to play with mer.

((Actually, I have to go too. We can make a RP up, though, later!))
