Oh Jack, not this wall again! Unfortunately, the story Tess told wasn't amusing or interesting or whatever-the-Jack-damned-wall-wanted-it-to-be enough and she ended up getting chased out.

Rain wasn't sure how well she would do in the maze. She had never been in one before and her sense of direction was naturally horrible! She usually just followed her nose, literally, to wherever the food was. She had faced truly horrible things during her stay at Amityville so far, so why should a maze worry her? She decided to charge right in.

Rain saw the little imp in need and helped it the best way she could. She had to pry one of the bandages off her arm and tie it around his foot after pulling the splinter out. It seemed to do the trick though she was no nurse.

Things were going well until she came to the boulder. It asked for a story or riddle and Rain had none to make. As each minute passed it grew angrier and angrier. Zombies weren't meant to be funny!

The first time in the maze, and Ren was lost. Lost. He didn't get lost (much). But he hadn't exactly been paying attention to where he was going and had somehow ended up here, in the maze set up by Professor Byrn.
Now which way do I go? Ren mused silently to himself, navigating between the thick walls, peering around the corners somewhat suspiciously. One never knew what exactly was lurking at Amityville High, and it wouldn't be unusual for the teachers to "test" their students by throwing crazy obstacles at them.
Like mazes. And creatures inside of mazes. Ren sighed, running a hand through his hair.
Well, here goes nothing.

The large boulder called for the breck hounds and Rain turned and ran back the way she came. She was sure her undead flesh wouldn't be as appealing to them but she didn't want to take that risk. She'll have to try the maze again another day.

She could respect a maze. It was a tricky thing and she loved tricks. She was looking so forward to this, regardless of what the outcome would be. Would there be trouble inside? Pranks? Challenges? Now this was a way to learn! This was a class to admire. She had to stop herself from running headfirst into the maze. She'd have to take it slowly, just in case there were dangers.

Well, hell. She just realized that her outfit clashed with the walls of the maze. This wouldn't do at all! She'd have to go home, change and try again! Style and fashion was everything.

"So why do you keep coming back, mate?" the imp said in a conversational tone, as it lifted its foot towards Malodore. The plague doctor was beginning to suspect - given that the splinter was in the same place every time - that this particular imp had just bored a permanent hole and wasn't so much re-injuring itself as... doing something akin to putting in an earring, over and over again.
"Science," Malodore said simply, flicking the splinter free - it hadn't bothered going for the tweezers this time, instead using the tips of its claws.
"Oh. Well. See you in a couple days," the imp said with a shake of its head.

"THE BOULDER D- oh Jack-" The boulder's gravelly shout faded into a squeaky whimper. "Not the Ch-ch-christmas story-"
"Oh, no, I've had quite enough of Christmas," Malodore said sourly. "I brought something else this time. Ahem. Once upon a time there was a... pink, sparkly unicorn princes-"
"PASS!"
Malodore darted past the shuddering boulder, then stopped to swallow the bile. Eurrrrrrrgh.

-It rounded the corner and smacked right into something white.
And warm.
And growling-
Malodore didn't even pause to curse - it just grabbed its coat in both hands, turned, and ran, feeling the hot slavering breath of the hound on its back the entire way.

With a huff, Astra stood at the door to the maze for the 3rd time, and she was indeed still smarting from her last attempt. She walked into the maze and eyed the imp who was still there with a foot in it's paw, this time looking sad and pathetic and just wanting the splinter to be removed. With a sigh, she walked over to the imp. "You better not attack me again" she warned waving her staff about, and pulled out the splinter.
This time, it appeared the imp learned it's lessons and didn't attack her
Onto the next phase!

"You got another riddle for me?" the rock asked her
"...umm..." It appeared Astra had forgooten to come up with a new riddle
"Then I'm not moving"
"..No fair.." with a pout, Astra flew back the way she came.
At least she hadn't been sent out screaming this time...

The next beast in his path was quite stonier In fact, it was made all of stone It liked tales of romance and chivalry As long as someone broke some bones
But today Mister Warrick had nothing Remotely approaching a tale So when he attempted to cross him The stone creature declared West a FAIL
