A pair of feet appeared in front of her and she looked up slowly, unshed tears filling her eyes.
Her gaze locked on the pinecone and she wiped her eyes on her sleeve while reaching for the pinecone with her other hand.
"M-mine?"
Her soft, uncertain voice asked hesitantly.

She reached both hands up and took hold of the pinecone, a soft, watery smile on her face before she started chewing on the pinecone.

He looked at her oddly for a bit. "Uhm. . .Are you hungry?"

"Oh, I could use a bite to eat. I know, you are talking to her but... eh... I guess I can wait a bit more. But out of curiousity, what kind of stuff does this place have to offer?" Rayne asked curiously, looking at the weird place that destiny has taken her.

"Huh, what?" She looked at the two awkwardly. "I don't know how to make food... If I did I don't think I would have not eaten for 4 days."She stood up, "But... if you'd like. We can walk around in the forest over there and look for some fruits to pick frojm the trees. I'm pretty good at that." She winked at them and waited for their reply.

The girl gave a soft smile before hesitantly reaching up to take Rayne's hand. A shy look on her face as she nodded eagerly, more than ready for something taster than a pinecone.

Kyra Night has fallen upon the woods, and a sliver of silver moon is the only source of light for miles. It reflects in the still water of rivers flowing through the lands. The only source of warmth is an occasional fire or glowing embers left untended. It is a crisp and cool night, and there is a mild breeze. The air smells of patchoulli and musk... very earthy. The trees seem to sigh, and whispers echo here and there, mysteriously almost as though they seem to say, "Greetings, Stranger..." Rayne grabbed onto their hands and gestured for the wolf to follow along behind them as they went fruit picking inside of the forest, slowly. "So, what is your name?" Rayne askedsoftly, smiling to her happily.

The young girl chewed on her thumbnail as she leant up against Rayne, her purple eyes looking around warily for anything mean that might jump out at her.
"Name? Oh..."
Blinking slowly as she tried to remember, what was it that people yelled at her?
"I think I'm called Molly..."
