 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn finished his cereal in silence. He finished and cleaned his dishes just after Ashriel. As she disappeared to the bathroom again, he left the apartment. He hurried out into an alley where he shifted back to a cat. He would make better time this way. Back in his true form, he hurried back to Sanctuary. There, he slipped into his room and grabbed his book bag. He grumbled about having to be human to carry it, but walked out of the building, towards the school.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel paid no attention to the fact that he'd left already. She walked out the door, humming to herself as she locked the door after her. Quickly, she walked to the school, going to her locker to drop off her bag, and she grabbed her books for her first class, sitting down in the classroom calmly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn walked into the classroom only a few minutes after Ashriel. He flopped down at his desk by the window, crossing his arms and putting his head down. He stared out the window with a bored look as he waited for the teacher. He didn't even glance at Ashriel, acting as if nothing had happened between them. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel didn't pay any attention to anyone else as the bell rang and she got out her sketch pad and drawing pencils. As usual, the teacher ignored her while taking attendance, knowing that she wasn't about to speak aloud during class.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sat through the class, bored but taking notes. By the time lunch rolled around, he was a little pale and more than a little fidgety. As soon as the bell rang to release them, he was out the door in a flash. He hurried to the alley behind the school when he let his human form fade away, only taking a second to ensure no one could see him. 'That was close.' He thought to himself, sitting beside his school bag. He licked a paw and groomed his face in relief before digging in his bag and pulling out his lunch. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled as she went to her lunch table to sit with Jennalin and Lixini without even realizing that she'd forgotten her lunch at home...again. She sat down, her stomach growling. Looking at her hands, she bit her lip. Jen and Lix were gonna freak.
Jennalin's eyebrows rose as Ash sat down without a lunch. "Don't tell me you forgot again."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini look at Ashriel and frowned. "No lunch? How do you manage to forget so often?" She quickly divided her own lunch in half, pushing one portion towards the other girl. "I know it's not much for you, but it should keep you from starving."
Raevyn quickly gulped down his lunch, then pushed his bag behind a box to hide it. That done, he sauntered back onto school grounds, not changing back to human. He wandered over to Ashriel's lunch table, sitting underneath it. He doubted the teachers would like seeing a cat in the school. He arrived just in time to hear Jen and Lixini's comments. "Man, you really need to wake up earlier. Maybe then you'd remember these kinds of things." He commented idly to Ashriel only. "You're lucky to have good friends." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Thanks Lix. I actually packed it this morning...I just...left it on the counter." Ashriel was telling the truth- she did pack it. She took the half portion from Lix and ate it gladly, knowing that if she refused the three people sitting with her would eventually convince her to eat it.
"Looks like you need someone to remind you." Jennalin commented, having noticed Raevyn slide under the table one way or another.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Hey, don't blame me. She's a big girl. Besides, I had my own errand to run this morning." Raevyn commented, batting at Jen's leg lightly. He was letting both Ashriel and Jennalin hear him this time.
Lixini giggled, seeing Ashriel take the food without complaint. "Looks like we finally got you trained." She said teasingly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel frowned, putting down the food instantly when she heard Lixini's comment.
Jennalin rose her eyebrows at Ashriel. "Now, see Lix, look at what you've done! Ash, you have to eat!"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini rolled her eyes as Ashriel put the food down. "Oh come on Ashy. I was just teasing. You know you need to eat." She said, crossing her arms and mock glaring at the other girl. "Ashriel, I don't know what you've done but just eat the damn food." Raevyn piped up, pouncing on her foot. "You eat too much to be able to skip a meal. You'd die of starvation before school ended." He told her, tugging demandingly on her pants leg. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel frowned, taking a bite just to get everyone off her case. She finished the food quickly, and she continued to frown. "There, you guys happy?"
Jennalin nodded, looking at Ash.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "If you ate the food, then yes." Raevyn could only guess at some of the things happening at the table, unable to see. Rather than worry about it though, he amused himself by untying Ashriel's shoes. He played with the laces, batting playfully at them.
Lixini grinned again, dropping her arms to the table. "Yep!" She chirped happily. Satisfied that Ashriel wasn't going to die or pass out any time soon, she quickly ate the rest of her lunch. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"She ate." Jennalin muttered quietly, knowing that Raevyn was the only one who could possibly hear her.
Ashriel pouted where she was sitting, glancing under the table to see what Raevyn was doing. "What the-" She said aloud, before remembering Lix. Biting her tongue, she pretended to have been looking at a kid at another table who was acting pretty strangely. Honestly, Lixini shouldn't have noticed her glancing under. "What are you doing?" Ash muttered to Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Good." Raevyn replied to Jennalin, but the answer was a little absentminded. He was having too much fun. Hearing Ashriel though, he paused and blinked up at her kittenishly. "I'm amusing myself." He told her honestly. And he was being amused. He love string.
Lixini looked up at Ashriel's words, following her gaze to the kid at the other table. She completely missed the downwards glance. "I have no idea, honestly." She told Ashriel, still watching the other kid. The tiger that should be....isn't....
