Jane smiled a bit, watching her mate. "That's a good boy, John," she cooed. Now maybe she'd get to read more of her book in peace.

The male let out another sigh, bored of this laying around stuff already.
Cypher curled back up, eyes closing as he attempted to catch up on sleep.

A now larger, and seemingly more relaxed, John Tala sat in a corner of the cave, drawing out little plans in a small pile of dirt. Over time his cactus wounds had healed, and his body had grown. Now an adult, who still at times acted like a pup, John was a bit more businesslike...just not quite as much as Jane.
Cypher however, was no where in sight. The little pup had wandered off to gather more building materials...that and he was a tad bit annoyed with John who had made some comment about him still being a pup earlier in the day. John didn't seem too worried though, believing Cypher would come back sooner or later.

Along with her mate, Jane had also grown into adulthood, shedding the last of her puppy ways. Crossing the cave, she peered down at John's doodlings. "What are you doing John?"

"Coming up with plans..."
John responded, adding onto his existing doodle.
"What are you doing?..."
He tore his focus away from his doodles long enough to look up at his mate.

"Heading out for a job," Jane said briefly, turning away. "I'll be back by dinner time."

John hopped to his feet, starting to follow her.
"You're going to leave?..."
Perhaps he wasn't a puppy anymore, but he still followed Jane around like one.

"Yes...you don't need a pupsitter anymore John. You'll be fine on your own." Jane glanced back at with a slight smile. "Be good."

"But...but...Jane..."
John whined a bit, tail drooping.
Outside, Bullseye was just wandering by the cave, lost in his thoughts. This soon ended however when a flash of red caught his eye mere moments before he found himself on the ground. A nearly entirely red Tala sat on top of him, struggling to keep the larger Bullseye pinned to the ground. Yelping in surprise, Bullseye quickly fought back.
Hearing the loud yelp, John quickly dashed forward, intent on 'protecting' his mate.

Startled by the sudden commotion, Jane turned and hurried after mate. Afterall, this could be a trap, and she wasn't about to let John run into it alone.

John stood right outside the cave, staring in confusion at the scene before him.
"What the....?"
"Devil?! What the hell are you doing here?!"
Bullseye snarled the words, the usually quiet Talaye transformed into a vicious beast.
"Keeping this place safe from you of course! Did you really think you could go off rampaging through this meadow forever without me coming and finding you?"
Snarling, Bullseye threw the dark red Talaye off and hopped up, fur bristling in rage.

Jane's eyes widened at the scene before her. Who was that? Another assassin? Trying to hit Bullsye, perhaps? "What's going on?!" was all she could think to ask.

Bullseye barely glanced at the other two before focusing his rage back on Daredevil.
"Figures you'd have to show your ugly mug, even when I'm not doing a damn thing!"
"The only time you'll be up to nothing Bullseye is the day you die!"
Daredevil glanced away, 'looking' at John and Jane. In reality he was quite blind, but his other senses gave him powers others could only dream of.
"Don't worry about him...I'll make sure he doesn't harm anyone here..."
John just stared, moving slightly to take a more protective stance near Jane.

"He won't harm anyone??....Are you with the police?" Jane asked, her tail flicking in slight annoyance. She hated police. They always got in the way.

"Police? No..."
Before Daredevil could get in another word, Bullseye interrupted.
"Nah, he's a damn superhero. Thinks he's all that and stuff..."
The evolved growled, watching his enemy closely.
John watched the two, tail flicking every once in a while.
