xxxxxClio beamed slightly as A'cuil looked upon her with pride, her blue-orange orbs of eyes peering at him happily. As he mentioned the tournament that had occured, more images piled into her mind. The day both of her parents had entered made her growl at times, they had been chosen to face eachother and it was a gruesome battle. Neither had wanted to inflict harm on the other, all the same they wanted to rise to the place of alpha. Many members of the pack had fought, adults and adolescents alike. She wondered idly as to how many wolves in the group ahead wished to take the role of leadership. Judging by the appearance of the wolves before her, they all seemed to hold a sort of leadership within themselves.
xxxxxQuietly, Clio turned her harsh gaze on to Rouqie, where is softened a little. It appeared to her as though the presence of more Sure-Claws irritated her. Still, Clio didn't think much of it and dismissed it almost immediately. As Rebel began to explain the ways of the tourny, the white and brown wolf nodded in agreement. She found it rather amusing that the rebelious wolf had remembered the words the teachers of the clan had spoken.
xxxxxAs Rebel finished his explanation, she decided to add on to it. "The victors of the first one-on-ones go on to fight each other in pairs. At the end, the final winner takes the role of Alpha, and if need be, the runner-ups are given lesser positions." She explained herself, trying to remember the exact methods that had been used in the past. A moment later she remembered a final detail, "Only adolescents and adults are allowed to enter, though." She peered back at A'cuil, and studied his snakeskin pattern with her oddly coloured eyes.

Andragos looked at Kora, "I was just asking that. I don't know where Fairyn went. She was looking for you Kora but now I don't know." He shrugged. He vaguely wondered how they were going to get the set up for the Alpha.

The moment Rebel turned to look at her, she flicked her gaze away, nonchalantly, she thought. She wondered why she was acting this childishly during such an important conversation.
"That sounds like just what we need right now." Rouqie put one paw forward, "I shall be the first to apply, then. I want to lead these wolves towards a bright new dawn, maybe even to a point where we could confront the darkness." She knew it was a big leap to imagine their rag-tag group of loners and pups might one-day challenge the darkness which had devoured the three great packs, but they would not be so brash about it, nor as over-confident as their predecessors were.

Tiki looked curiously at Kora, "I was thinking she would be with you," Tiki responded lookeding around again. I guess wolves are going to just come and go until they find an alpha.... when will they find an alpha? She thought, going over the names of the wolves she thought would be good to lead this pack. A'cuil, Rouqie... Andragos... Icarus maybe... Possibly even Indra or Taki....

Dekel stared curiously at the weapon. After a moment, he finally opened his maw to answer back with a quiet, "Cooool...."
The little male paused, turning his gaze back over to the white wolf, and observed her for a second. She was pure white with red markings on her face and sides, and swirly tufts of fur on the sides of her paws that seemed to puff out like the flames coming from her "Divine Retribution". Then, he blinked and huffed out a question. "I'm Dekel, who're you?"

Prince looked up, hearing Dekel speaking to another wolf. He gasped when he saw the white wolf. She was so intriguing. "Whoa." Prince whispered quietly as he made his way closer to the white Fae and Dekel. He sat on his haunches beside his new friend and looked up at the she-wolf happily. Prince trotted back over to Ceres and nipped at her ear playfully, not sure what to do with himself.

Both of their words rung true. A'cuil found himself nodding as his former packmates spoke, looking upon Rebel with particular approval, and his measured share of humor. Who knew that the independent rogue had actually been listening underneath all of that defiance?
As they finished laying out the terms of the ancient tournament, A'cuil responded to Rouqie with a grave look. It surprised him not at all that the heather-pelted wolf was the first to stand up. She had been with the group from the very beginning, hadn't she?
"You are within your rights to stand and fight, Rouqie. But then, so am I - and I do. I want to take these wolves and give them the structure that we need, that we lost when our packs went to war. I want to rebuild our lives and give us strength, for the day that we go after our kin." He had to believe that they were still alive. He had to, just like he had to believe that this rabble of Sure-Claw, Haven and Flyer could go to aid them.

Ceres watches as a white female walked close by Prince, Dekel, and herself. Dekel seemed to be a highly curious pup, which in her eyes was good. He had asked the question that was lingering in her mind since she saw the female. "Well, I hope that we shall never be enemies to you." Ceres says with a little chuckle. "I am Ceres. I have never seen a wolf as yourself, where do you hail from?"
Ceres see Prince as he walked over to her with a look of boredom. When he nipped at her ear, she nipped back gently, aiming to not hurt the young pup on accident. "Would you guys like to go on a small hunt?" Ceres asks, thinking it might help the young pup be entertained for a little bit while getting a little practice.

Ceres backs her neck up and swiftly pushes the excitable pup's head over. Smiling, she thinks for a moment about what to hunt. She reflects to a few days past to a nice stream with decent sized fish. The stream in question wasn't too wide or deep for the pup, nor were the fish extremely fast. It would be a different kind of 'hunt' for the young pup, one that might help him practice the arts of patience and angling.
"How about fishing? Would you like to come along too Dekel?" Ceres gently questions the pups. She paws the orange and yellow pup toward herself, and starts to groom him.

Dekel's mouth opened and his tongue lolled out happily. "Sure, I've never been fishing before." He hopped back up onto his feet, shifting back and forth from paw to paw in excitement, and blinked as another question came to him. "How do catch them? Aren't they slippery... and under water?"

Ceres was the first wolf to ask herself that. "I am Amaterasu, and I have wandered all my life." When she heard that she was taking the pups for a hunt, she grinned. "Good luck, little hunters." she said, hoping they would have fun. She then began walking back over to Tiki.
A new adolecent she-wolf had joined them, who was asking if they knew where 'Faiyrn' had gone. The dark wolf shrugged, not knowing. "Is someone missing?"

°o.O❇ℙ๑ℛ๑ℐ๑ℕ๑ℂ๑ℇ❇O.o° Prince's tail swished back and forth slowly, he was enjoying his grooming. He looked up at Ceres. "Fishing?" Prince was about to ask how but, Dekel beat him to it. The orange and yellow pup looked up at Ceres again and tilted his head. "I'd love to go fishing, First pheasant, now fish." Prince was excited to learn how to hunt something that wasn't usually a wolf's prey. "When do we get to go?" He asked excitedly.

Ceres had to think about how to explain how to catch fish. "Well, I don't know how to describe it, but they aren't as slippery when your teeth grab into them. They are under water, but we will be going into shallow waters for it." Hoping that she helped the confused pups a little, she gives Prince a few more licks behind his ears before nipping at his playfully. "We could leave soon or wait a while, depends on when you guys would like to go."

°o.O❇ℙ๑ℛ๑ℐ๑ℕ๑ℂ๑ℇ❇O.o° Prince yipped when Ceres nipped at him. He rolled to his back and nipped back at the pink Fae. Prince got back up and shook his fur from any dirt he had gathered from rolling. "Let's go right now." The pup yipped excitedly as he trotted around Ceres and Dekel, only stopping to take a playful n** to the other pup's flank. Prince quickly jumped away and returned to Ceres.
