Omega - Grateful For Good Friends
Christian found himself being entranced by the dancing flames of the bonfire as he stared. Something about just being around the fires did a bit to set him at ease, even with the storm of confusion swirling in his mind. He looked back at Raine when she rested her hand upon his shoulder. He honestly managed a small guffaw and smile when Raine called him a goof. That wasn’t the first time any of his close friends called him that, and it was most assuredly not going to be the last.
He listened intently to what Raine said, nodding in agreement with pretty much everything she spoke of. The escalation was something that truly did frighten Christian. Everything he said to her prior was the truth; he didn’t want to scare Sophia at all, and judging by how shaken up she was earlier in the evening… Not only that, he was scared that he actually had feelings for someone. When he was still living back home in Seattle, he did have a few ladyfriends, but as he stated prior to Raine, that was pretty much to fulfill the wants of the social hierarchy in school. He honestly really could not have cared less if he was dating anyone back then.
“Emotions… are honestly something I haven’t dealt with… never had the want to,” Christian replied as she took a drink of her soda. “But if anything, you gave me a bit of perspective on how to handle things. I appreciate that.” He offered Raine a grin and thanked whatever deities were out there that he had forged such solid friendships with the few people that he ‘grew up’ with since his time at the Academy. Between himself, Sophia, Raine, and Jack they’d all forged a somewhat decent little group of friends. Of course, training together and against each other for a couple years before their eventual call-up did nothing but solidify that.
Christian was about to walk away from the fire when Raine seemingly asked a somewhat rhetorical, somewhat serious question. What she said made him think for a moment, for it made sense. With everything that had happened since he was placed on the Omega team, she was right in that there was little to no time to even say a quick ‘how do you do?’ to hardly anyone.
“Hard tellin’ in that regards, Firefly,” he said to Raine, “Spose though, if the conversations needed bad enough, ya gotta make time.” He offered a smile as he said that, knowing full well he needed to heed his own advice. In the time leading up to the excursion heading into Limbo, he was so wrapped up with trying to follow orders and to psyche himself up, he shut himself out from everyone else.
“But hey. That’s why we gotta live it up now and just enjoy the ‘downtime’ as it is,” Christian offered, “Cause we never know what next is ‘round the corner.” After he said that, he stifled a yawn with his bandaged hand. He was getting tired and the alcohol that was finishing running through his system was doing nothing to quell the sleepiness. He yawned again, this time letting it fly.
“Thanks for listenin’… Strangely, I feel a bit better with that offa my shoulders and out in the open.” He yawned again, debating on whether or not to stick around to help clean up a bit or to just wander his country butt back to the condo to get some much needed shut-eye.

Condo: Heart to Heart
“It was over long ago—Sir. Don’t bother Alek, not unless he asks you too—Forget his name, forget where he lives—Move on with your life.”, Isabella ordered, her voice carrying with an underlying hint of power. This man, to her knowledge, was no mutant, and his was just as susceptible to her as anyone. She could hear his footsteps hesitant, dumbfounded as he turned to leave the condo. She didn’t want to ban Daniel completely from Alek…But she could tell that her ice user needed his space. If Alek wanted to contact Daniel—He could do so.
But she wouldn’t allow some besotted, deluded human to stalk and traumatize her Alpha.
She wasn’t prepared for the volatile soul bearing that poured out of him next… He never talked to her anymore. Had stopped…Long ago. Back when Everett started acting strangely. For a moment she didn’t know what to say… The raw emotion she felt made her heart ache… And it was also when she was again reminded, that Alek, though seeming a legal adult—Still had a lot to learn.
The first thing she did was reach out, and tentatively wrap her arms around him. She was willing to bet, that he hadn’t been held by someone that genuinely cared for him, and not just what he could offer—In a long time. He was falling apart at the seams… Like a thread that had come loose, and needed re-sewn. For the time being, she would hold him, keep him together. Her cheek rest atop his head, and she shushed him for a moment…
“Alek…”, she breathed out, trying to search for the right words…This seemed to be…The breaking point, the moment she had been waiting for him to have. The time when he asked for her help, and she didn’t force her guidance on him. It was important, that he choose this. “Breathe.”
“You go through phases Alek…You help, you hurt, you help, you hurt… Just when I think you’re getting better…You prove me wrong. People don’t trust you because you often work against us… Because there are times, when what you want, trumps everything, including the safety of others.”, she explained, as gently as she could. She knew, and understood, that he knew many of these things…But she wanted there to be no questions, no assuming in this. Every…Word, was a delicate. “They’ve stopped trying to trust you, because they can’t afford for you to turn your back again.”
“Even if you try to do something right… You might still get shot down. You probably will. You have to earn trust. You have to work for it, every little bit of it. It is a very easy thing to lose…But a million times harder to get back with the lives we lead. One good deed may never do the trick, because it doesn’t erase your past…You might spend the rest of your life trying to redeem yourself... And some of the people here may never forgive you completely.”, she spoke truthfully, her eyes staring at the door behind him… Her ears were following Daniel…Making sure that he was really leaving. “But making yourself a better person, isn’t about everyone else, and what they think. If you want to be better? Be better. Don’t do it, just because you want to show yourself in a good light. Do it because it is what needs to be done, because it is what you must do… To be the person you want to be. You’ve got to be at peace with yourself before you can make peace with anyone else.”
“If you’re in this for the popularity…You are in the wrong place. This can be a lonely life. You might not know it… But I can be in a room full of friends and still feel all alone… That comes with the territory of leading. If you feel alone… Reach out to someone. Talk to them. Tell them how you’re feeling—Instead of lashing out like you did on the beach. Shandra pushing you was an accident…Even I saw that.”
Isabella was silent for a moment…Her arms still wrapped around him, the smooth soprano of her voice carrying a calming tone. She didn’t throw suggestion into him, or force him to relax, but gave him the option of finding comfort in her if he chose to. She hated to yell at him… And she always tried not to. But as angry as he made her… Sometimes it couldn’t be helped. But at times like this, when he was truly being honest with her…The anger melted. Bella could never keep a grudge… Though she wouldn’t forget his immaturity anytime soon either… She would try, if he would try.
“If you want to leave… I won’t stop you… You stopped listening to me a long time ago. But you are cared for here… Even if it isn’t apparent. You were dying when we brought you back from Limbo…Evelyn’s blood sealed your wounds…But it wasn’t enough. I gave you mine. Scott took your privileges when you started a fight with Antonio at the carnival. I gave them back. Scott wanted you benched for hopping the fence during the Defcon lockdown… I refused.”, Bella went on, slowly letting him go as she sat down beside him on the edge of the bed…Her gaze now going out the window. Daniel was farther away now…He hadn’t stopped, or paused. Hopefully her suggestion took root.
“And now… You call, and here I am—Defending you against your ex of all things... You've betrayed me, more than anyone else... But I'm still here. Even still, after everything, I want to help you.”, she spoke softly, her jade eyes flickering to him, suddenly distant… Remembering.“I know I’m not perfect… I wish to God I were, and I'm sorry that I'm not...But if that doesn’t show you… Nothing will. It’s time to grow up Alek… It hurts... And it sucks…But you don’t have a choice. You can do good things… You can help people, you can be whatever you aspire to be—So long as you put the drama, selfishness, and outbursts behind you.”

Beach - Can anyone say Awkward?
"Alright..." Shandra said in a regular volume towards Kerri insisting she was okay, before whispering the next part. "You know Narcissa might do something if she ever found out Jack was the one to pick the fight with you..."
It brought a sense of humor to her lips as she stood back up to full height. Almost nervously Shandra pulled at her shirt, trying to stretch it out discretely but having no luck. At least she wasn't wearing a white wet tank top like Kerri was though...but still, being out in public in so little (in clinging material) felt weird. She tried to think of it like a swimsuit top...but that just wasn't working for her - swimsuit tops, of hers, were much thicker.
Which reminded her...she had a place to break into and find a suit that fit...and one Native American to keep that information from now. Seeing as most of her team still didn't know, much less the rest of the academy (Antonio was the only one to admit anything aloud and that was only about himself hopefully), then she might be in the clear for that skill.
Kerri's next words, however, had her opening that mouth of hers only for Peta's voice to fill the silence. He was calling himself Aren now...since when? Shandra quizzically looked in Peta's direction, trying to figure out why he just gave out an alias....
And the look he cast her made her want to wrinkle her nose, like she used to do so often, but she didn't. Her expression, after looking at him curiously, went back to being neutral...
Was Peta really joining them? Shandra nearly gaped but kept that in check, her eyes only narrowing slightly as she tried to figure him out. Was the past really that determined to come back? Seriously? Why now? Why in all the powers that be or whatever, was she still questioning the blasted universe?
It was obvious that if there was anything looking over them, that those things were probably just doing everything for shits and giggles.
"You're seriously going to be joining the teams...Aren?" The name just tasted wrong on her tongue for him. "Guess that means you weren't just stalking me then..."
Shandra whispered that before realizing what she just let slipped from her own thoughts and winced lightly. She was in no position to make jokes...despite the fact that used to be her main source of entertainment in life. Stalking...she'd done enough of that in small quantities in her life - most of which she probably couldn't damn well remember...there were a lot of things she knew she didn't actually remember.
One thing was for sure though - She was definitely stealing hard files and finding out just what was up with the teams again...last time she had done that had been during Christmas break a few years ago. And the teams had changed so much since then...funny how with all her run away issues, she was still at this place...
What about it about this place that was making her stay? What...what had finally tied her down?
"Sorry...I...didn't mean it like that," there she goes, backtracking and slowly shrinking into herself again. "Umm... Kerri do you have any idea when we can just get back to the condo? Narcissa's not even here..."
Nervously, Shandra gripped her elbows again, feeling better for even that small amount of cover. Maybe she should just go get her shirt that she turned into a pillow for Leion...but then again, if she did that, she should probably give it to Kerri who for all intents and purposes was in almost a see-through top - white tanks and water do not mix well with modesty.

Alpha - Let's play a game... last man standing wins. Eli listened to Forellen's introduction. It's true, his apology would most likely reoccur. But Eli didn't care. And he was too ADD, even when drunk. Shouldn't his system be slow? His mind raced as he thought of things to do. This was the most social Eli had ever been. He was surrounded by people he barely knew. Two of them were really pretty females. The other was a hulk named Jack. What to do?
"You know what would be fun. Is if we all played a game. I don't know what game. But, we should play a game!" He exclaimed jumping up to his feet. However as soon as he got up his vision went white and the blood rushed from his head; he fell forward, passed out. He'd definitely feel this in the morning. The question was, how much of this evening would Eli actually remember? And how much of a bother would it be on everyone. Considering their distance away from the fire, having them carry his drunken a** all the way to the mansion. Assuming he was passed out passed out, and not just fainted passed out.

No_day_but_today09 Omega-More Talky talky. My face is who I am. The thought rang through Antonio's mind, but he bit his lip to prevent himself from saying it. While it was true that people only loved him for his looks and personality, neither of which could exist without the other, he did not want to focus on his problems. Not that he had a problem talking about them, he was here to help Sophia, not to get her to help him. He did smile though, when she brought up Narcissa. A small chuckle rumbled in his throat as he spoke. "That is a good point, Cissa is a special case. She is as likely to compliment me as eat me, and I am one of her precious Omegas. You are fortunate to have Bella as your leader, she is more open to suggestions, I am fortunate that Cissa evens listens to my advice, much less consider it. But then again, if the teams were the same, what need would there be for two teams?" Whether or not Cissa listened to what Antonio said was a mystery to the hispanic. For the most part he spoke his mind, but he never once checked to see if his words made it past anyone's ears. Usually the teams did what he suggested, but that could just be because they all thought alike, it really did not matter either way. Unlike the Alpha's, the Omega team consisted of several people with very strong personalities, as likely to argue as work together, but Antonio would not have it any other way. There was something about the team that worked, something that made them better than their kind counter part. If anything the group therapy Alpha sessions seemed to make the people worse, probable because they did not have him there to give sage advice. He could barely imagine what the Omegas would be like with out him. He smiled at Sophia. "If you really want to do this, then I will teach you. Do not worry about losing yourself, you are to strong for that. The fact that you are worried that might happens prove it to me. As for ending up like the Blonde one, even if you end up with the same things happening to you, you will not end up the same. We all respond to situations differently, and so our reactions to bad events will be different. All I can say is to always remember who you are, because once you forget it is hard to find yourself again, trust me on this." A pause was heard as he looked past her in thought. "As far as teaching you, I am going to being by giving you this lesson, it may sound silly, even pointless, but in my mind it is more important than everything I have said. "Enjoy the little things in life." His hand gestured towards all of the people on the shore. "We X-men rarely get time to enjoy ourselves, I am surprised that there is not a major attack happening right now. If you are given a chance to enjoy yourself, take it, because you never know when you will get another chance." His trade mark smile lit up his face. "Now the night has barely begun and the music is plying. We are both much to young to be sitting here don't you think." Smiling he stood up. "May I have a dance lovely Sophia?"

இ คჩεnɳ இ ტრεჟค -A promise is a promise.▀▀▀ ▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ ▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ Aren nodded to Kerri with a smile, satisfied that there would be no ill-feelings between them in the future. Perhaps he should have left the situation alone in the first place, but he'd been taught to defend women on the reservation - not that he particularly cared to do so for any of the ones that had been nipping at his heels. Annoying really. Girls and their incessant giggles, which had only increased when Shandra had left them. Cree, how they hated her, and it took him the longest time to figure out why. She had been different enough that she'd caught his attention, and they didn't like the outsider getting the future story teller (something about keeping everything within the exclusivity of the tribe.)
"Nice to meet you as well, Kerri." He gave a small huff of a chuckle when she described Jack as "muscles." Aren did a quick second look, and decided the description fit perfectly. "No hard feelings, Jack." He offered the last just to maintain peace; it'd have to be determined later on whether or not he liked him at all.
He shoved his hands into his pockets as she asked the inevitable, "Nah.. I'm not one of the natives here." Emphasis on here, because he was a native, and being a Blackfoot came with a certain amount of pride. "I'm a new Omega." Though why on earth they chose me is still beyond me. Of course, this part was best to be left out of the equation. Especially when I'd just gave up and had my bags packed to go home. No matter. He was here now, and actually was quite happy to be, but maybe that was just his euphoria from being around Shandra once again. Hopefully she would be an Omega too; that would just sweeten the deal for him.
Shandra whispered something to Kerri, and Aren tried his best to not be interested. The sand beneath his feet was pretty interesting and he focused on that so as to not intrude. But Shandra picked at her clothes, and he wondered why she fidgeted with the material. After all, it fit her perfectly, but then again... that might have been the problem. Before he could stop it, a small smile played at the corners of his lips, probably making him appear a bit goofy.
Thankfully, Shandra didn't voice the confusion that was evident in the lines of her face; he didn't need the people here to poke fun at his tribal name the way the girl on the plane had. The expression faded into something neutral quick enough for his liking, but Aren had a pretty good idea that he'd get asked about it later.
He rolled his eyes towards the heavens at Shandra thinking he'd been stalking her, grinning the whole time. "Don't be silly, Máóhk.Of course I'm not stalking you. You know I'm an extremely sufficient hunter. Had that been my goal, I'd have found you ages ago." He used the nickname like it was honey, "red" had always suited her. Almost as soon as he'd said the words, he regretted them; now he just sounded as though he were boasting about his prowess as a native. Not that he didn't have right to, but it was still sort of snobbish in his mind.
She mentioned the condo, and a small pang of guilt hit him as he realized he might have thrown his stuff into someone else's room. It left as abruptly as it came, and Aren shook his head as he turned so that only Shandra could hear him. "But, as I said earlier... you still owe me a dance." It'd been an agreement made much later on that she'd' teach him if he ever made it with her to her world, and here he was... thrown into her culture. She'd likely only agreed to that because she thought he'd never venture from the safe haven that the reservation had to offer. Too late for her to pick apart her promise now though.
Before she could protest, Aren lifted his chin slightly at the others and grabbed Shandra's hand. "We'll be back in a few. Lady here owes me a dance from a few years ago." Laughing the whole way, Aren pulled her to the group of other people dancing, ready to show off that he'd already done this, and that she wouldn't have a partner with two left feet.
"I guess.." He said as he waited for her to jump the beat, still holding her hand all the while. "That we have some catching up to do. Both of us."

Varian held out his hand and the little crystal pendant around his neck floated out over top of it. It stood straight up and started to spin one way, then when the chain had no more give, it turned and spun the other way. He had a lot to think about. Sleep was really on his schedule anymore, and it was far from it at the moment. He was luckily if he had been getting five hours a night. It really... assisted with his crankiness. Which was just a hindrance to himself.
Finally feeling he had enough of his own company he got up and started back to the condo. He figured he could probably make an attempt to get some sleep, though he was unsure whether it would actually happen. Several minutes later found him instead, with his violin under his chin, bow in hand, laying out a slow melody into the night air through his own open window.

Alpha: Finding a friend.Molly had been looking up towards the rocks when [h]Hoshi’s voice caused her to look the other way towards her. She was racing someone and almost before the request to stay put was out of her mouth she was airborne and zipping off with someone else Wilbur in hot pursuit. Hoshi appeared to have beaten him to the proposed finish line be a country mile. Molly herself stood placidly where she had been asked to remain while Hoshi was off at the proverbial races. By now Molly was starting to feel a little punchy from the shot of alcohol in her system and she fidgeted a bit restlessly before watching the two land farther down the beach. Molly gnawed on the inside of her cheek for a few moments before padding towards where Hoshi and Wilbur landed since it looked like they got sidetracked there a little bit. Picking up her pace a bit she caught up with the little winged racer and her not quite so swift partner in only a minute or two. ”Hey.” She said as she finally caught up to them. ”Congrads on winning the race...” She said and shrugged at what Wilbur said having just caught the tail end of it upon arriving. ”Uuummm...hi...I...I’m Molly...and...my power is situational at best and totally useless every other time.” It had its perks but Molly needed to be honest with herself on this...her powers were mostly useless outside of a handful of situations.

Omega: Mellow’dJacen smiled as Maddy spelled out their cyclical schedule. It was nigh-spot on, in both regard to style and accuracy, like some never ending musical they all put on; same song, different lyrics. “Well, yes, but I was asking in a less broad sense. Like what exactly do you think will happen?” He said, shrugging. He was hedging on alien invasion himself. And now that she pointed it out, he had been at the academy a long time, almost two years as it was. It was an odd feeling, made him feel old. The mutant turned as Vallon approached the group, giving a small wave. He glanced at Maddy as she belted out the ‘last-time on-‘ speech. His skin turned scarlet again as she mentioned the kiss, before dying back down to it’s normal tan. “No thanks Vall, I don’t enjoy… mellows.” He said, smiling apologetically at the boy. “Thanks though.” Jacen just didn’t enjoy processed food all that much, just an odd quirk. “Hey Wilbur. Hoshi.” He said as the two flyers returned, giving a wave-salute to the two. “How was the mountain top?” He glanced at Molly, smiling but honestly unable to remember the Alpha's name.

Alphas: confessions and questions
Hoshi smiled at Molly. "I see you're feeling better. What happened this afternoon?" she asked. Hoshi turned to Wilbur. "hey, that was a pretty unfair race since I've had my powers since I was five years old. We can call off the stakes if you want." she offered. Meanwhile, she was processing what the two had said about their powers sucking. "obviously, you guys have a huge potential- it isn't like Mr. Summers to just randomly add people to the teams. You guys must have impressed him somehow." she said seriously. "how bout you? How long have you had your powers?" she asked.
Hoshi turned to scan the beach as she waited for their answers regarding their powers. A man she didn't reconize wandered out of the mansion as if dazed. Hoshi imeditly got the creeps from him and thus literally jumped two feet into the air as Jacen greeted her and Wilbur. She flapped her wings once and set back down on the beach. To cover her emberssment, Hoshi gave Jacen a teasing smile. "What, No hello for Molly?" she teased. "and to answer your question, the mountain top was lovely." she said with a happy sigh. "Hey, I was wondering something- what exactly is your mutation and when did you devolop your powers?" she asked. "cause I've had my powers since I was five and it seems to surprise the teachers when I mention it. any idea why? you seem to be one of the older team members." she added.

Beach - Dance...? What the - PETA!
She had tried to stop him from pulling her. Key word being tried. Without pulling out her powers to help, Peta was much stronger than she was. She was...very strong for a female who wasn't into the whole bodybuilding scene, but sad truth was the fact that guys naturally built more muscle mass and Peta's life style that she had known of was conducive to such. He was stronger than her at fifteen, he was still stronger than her now.
'Damn him...he's stubborn...gah!'
Digging her heels into the sand didn't help....sand wasn't exactly a stable substance. She felt weird standing amongst a crowd of people, the fire still going high and flickering light over them. But Peta seemed to have a secret amusement over the whole situation. And the more she pulled at her hands, the tighter and closer he pulled her.
“Peta…I don’t dance,” Shandra said in a terse whisper, nervously and cautiously shifting and biting her lips, her eyes moving back and forth.
"Come on, Máóhk... you promised, remember? Besides, you'd gain more attention from the others if you skirted around my offer." Not to mention that she'd make him look a fool.
“But- but I…I did not, you told me I did,” Shandra said, a frown apparent on her face and a tone that…tickled a pout – but she did stop struggling.
Aren wiggled his brows at her, a sly grin painting his expression. "Yes you did. You agreed because you never thought our paths would cross outside of the rez. Need I remind you of the conversation?" He asked, the grin wicked enough to set a soul on fire.
She wanted to call him a liar, really she did, but…damn they did have that conversation. And with as many bad things as she had done in her life, she had never knowing backed down on a promise…or a dare between friends. But she really didn’t want to dance…it as just awkward. Her lip trembled for a moment, now out of sadness but for an emotion that just…wasn’t placed properly in its seat.
As she closed her eyes, her facial expression almost resembling a child who had finally been caught red handed, Shandra bowed her head lightly. Music started to come back on – a song that, for some reason or another, was popular. Hadn’t that person…Cyrus or whatever…started out as a child tv star? The song (Party in the USA)was innocent enough though…thank god. She’d heard it a few time…
“Don’t…bring it up…again?” Shandra asked her tone almost pleading as she kept her eyes closed, a tight feeling in her chest.
The song had already started as she took in a deep breath. If she treated this as a fun thing she did outside with music on…flipping, dodging, and running through the trees to the music. Moving her body in synch with the unspoken beat of her own body…maybe it wouldn’t be so bad?
Oh, who was she trying to kid…someone was never going to let her live it down if she didn’t die of embarrassment from being scene moving so…not like her.
She couldn’t believe she was going to do this…how the heck had he remembered? Why…oh god she knew if any of her…friends…or maybe her team leader found out, she might not hear the end of it. But she’d never hear the end of it from Peta if she didn’t.
She took a step forward, listening to the song with her eyes closed as her face colored. If he remembered that much, he’d remember her face coloring – funny enough it hadn’t done that in a while…and usually it was only Antonio doing something to make it that way.
Her hand reached up, her face kept hidden by the shadows, and tucked itself around his neck for a moment. If she was going to do this…she was going to try and solve one of her problems with it and she was bringing him into being undetectable with her.
“Careful now Peta…if I’m going to dance…I’m not going to be seen doing it. And neither are you. If someone runs into us…its really not their fault and they won’t even hear you yelling at them...”
She tilted her head up, a wry smile on her lips, as she decidedly moved her feet back and then towards him again starting to rock her hips into the movement as she kept her hand on his neck. Her pale hand slid down his arm, grabbing his hand just in time for the part of the song to make it look natural. Everything she ever did was about timing body movements, judging your own motion, she was good at it. Keeping track of normal time might come hard to her, but knowing just when and how to move her body…there was a reason she felt embarrassed and it wasn’t because she didn’t know any formal moves.
Using his hand that was in the air with hers, Shandra moved her body so the opposite hip was closer to him before completely the circle and continuing the gentle sway. Her face was warm, still the blush all under the surface. The fact that his hand was rather close to being pressed onto her torso if it wasn’t for the fact she was keeping it just far enough away not to touch wasn’t helping in the least either.
Shandra slowly pulled his hand away, her feet moving lightly as she made sure to keep the sway into her body and started to exaggerate it into a timed to the beat rocking motion mostly of her torso going one way…and her hips going the other. Her arm bent and she moved away, doing almost a salsa twist to her body but keeping his hand in hers as she formed a lowering bridge with their arms. She moved back towards him, her face completely covered in redness as she closed her eyes, making sure to keep the motions smooth. Jaded motions…illtimed movements hurt, and she was using that mentality even if it seemed like she was only just trying to dance. No…she was using everything she knew about how to move and isolate her body to keep her mind distracted. She just…had to love her powers.
The movement of coming back up and keeping in contact with their fingers entertained brought them close…really close for a moment. She basically threw her hands up as the song brought up the main chorus, her other hand wrapping around his neck for a moment as she kept her head bowed to try and hide just how far away she was from the moment from him. She rocked with him for a moment…
And was completely glad when the song ended.
“There…happy?”
She let go of him, forcing herself backwards away from Peta in an abrupt movement that would break him out of being undetected since she wasn’t touching him anymore or using her power, her face still completely red. She nearly ran into the person behind her, and all she could think about was…oh, she really hoped he never brought that up – ever. This time….she really did need a drink, and water sounded really good since she was sure that a good portion of her upper body was tinted with blood from embarrassment and the heat of the fire. Oh god…what had she just started? Character used with Permission/help of The Bunit

Alpha: Stars, odd stories, and one drunken guy. Vallon took a spot on the ground and looked over at Lieons unconscious body with a raised eyebrow and then shook his head, he smiled as Maddy gave him the short version of what had happened since she had wandered. "Well it seems I missed tha party, now doesn't it." Vallon said as he looked back at Jacen with a wink, he could tell the boy was flustered by the story it made Vallon chuckle he had never had a problem with two guys loving each other or two women, his thought was that as long as they loved each other the world was right. Vallon also smiled as Hoshi and Wilber Showed up, Vallon remembered seeing Wilber earlier that day, although he had yet to meet him he smiled and nodded at the two of them. Then Vallon looked back at Madison she was watching the stars, he looked up you could really see them better here than you could in the city it was nice, he smirked and then scooted a little closer to her. "So I take it ya had a little bit o fun watchin all this craziness?" Vallon said to her in a lower tone as he looked up at the stars he realized that earlier he had over reacted to the fact that actually only a few of the x-men had been drinking obvious Leion being one of them.

Alpha-Dancing With the Devil Sophia was silent for several long moments as she listened to Antonio… She had her suspicions, mostly because of the way most Omega’s tended to act. They had a superiority complex to the max…It this whole, hive mind way she had never seen outside of a brainwashing documentary. But somehow it worked to keep the Omega’s…Together. The Alpha’s on the whole were softer people… She knew that most of them were usually gentler, or more level—But no less dangerous than most of the Omega’s. It just seemed strange, the way they all thought of each other. But, considering that Antonio was one of the older Junior X-Men members…She felt that she did owe him a certain amount of respect. He was offering to help her of his own volition… Even if he’d mistaken her name with some girl name Linda in the beginning… So how could she fault and refuse him when he was trying to help? That was more than she could say she had ever seen Narcissa do… Except for when the attack on the school came. Before they had to run into Limbo… When Narcissa gave herself up to keep the demons from killing some of the Omega’s… And then systematically the rest of them. Thinking about the Alpha’s and Omega’s made her head pound. “ All right homme…”, she breathed quietly, looking up at Antonio directly, grey eyes less watery than they had been… They weren't happy...But the despair was at least gone. She smiled just slightly when he asked her to dance, an all too familiar blush crawling up her cheeks. Embarrassed as she suddenly was…She couldn’t complain. Dancing, Sophia could do… Having this conversation much longer was going to reduce her to a blubbering idiot. She could feel the urge to have a good long cry welling slowly within her. Everything was just so frustrating. “Just remember that it’s your fault, Professor, if Ah turn into a psycho.”She brushed delicately by him, heading down the grassy knoll she’d found a small refuge on… Her head turned back over her shoulder as a good song started playing, realizing she might not have been clear… “By the way…You can have this dance…If you hurry up, homme… Ah like this song.” If her first lesson was to dance and have fun… She would do that. Well, do her best to. There was part of her that was still weighed down…But she did her best to hide it, bury it. It was hard for her… Considering she usually wore her heart on her sleeve. Maybe the key to everything was to keep all of her faults…But just not let anyone else see them. That was sure to be a lot harder than it sounded... She moved her head to the beat a little bit as she walked, a slight swing to her slim hips as she got closer to Raine, Christian, and the others closer to the bonfire. She spun in a circle, waiting for Antonio to join her. It wasn’t an overly fast song, not overly slow… Enough that she could keep up though, and hopefully not fall on her face. She nodded her head to her friends when she got close enough…But seeing that they were talking, she didn’t want to interrupt until it looked like they were finished. She was acutely aware that she might have hurt their feelings by reacting the way she had...But she would apologize one on one. That way, she could say what she needed to, and not filter for one or the other. Besides, apparently, she owed an Omega a dance…

Alpha: ..... Attempting to help. Gideon just watched her he saw her eyes glass over in thought. He knew what she was remembering and that she certainly would not is not happy about it. But that was what Gideon needed her to do. She needed to remember had to if there was to ever be a chance to help her adjust to it. "If situations were reversed I am sure I would feel the same." He said truthfully. He didn't like dredging up his own past. But to help someone he would. Gideon knew that simply forgetting didn't work, he tried that back when he first came to the institute. "The point is Narcissa. That in order to start to adjust and deal you need to remember. Simply forgetting will not work. I've tried that. What i want you to say is what ever it is you need to that you believe getting off your chest will help." He responded as he saw the physical changes in her. Cissa's hair was no longer blond it was silver. Her eyes shined slightly showing how near her powers were to coming out. That was another reason for him being the one to talk to her about this, given that he was one of the few who could live if she blasted him. "Cissa this has nothing to do with your feelings toward my girlfriend. I don't really no all the reasons behind it or maybe getting knocked around in a few fights made me forget. But this at the moment has nothing to do with her." He said as he looked at her his own blue eyes soft. "This is purely about helping you. If you will let me." He said he could tell he had gotten somewhat through to her but this was not something that could be done over night. "The point is helping a friend." He said even if they didn't really talk she would know that he didn't use that term often with people. "And I do understand. Before coming to the institute I actually tried to kill myself." He said remembering throwing himself off a cliff hoping that it would be enough that he wouldn't be able to heal it. Had it not been for his metal bones it might of worked. He even picked fights with those he thought powerful enough to actually end him. Again he failed though that time since when he was unable to move the ones he picked a fight with assumed him for dead and just left. There were other times but he shook off the thoughts as this wasn't about him. "I know I left you no choice in this talk when it started. I am sorry yet not sorry for that. I would of preferred to of given you a choice but as you know things in life rarely go as we want them to." He knew she was angry about this and she was well right to be so. "I used to try and talk with others besides Evie and Bella. Most times they just blew me off or ignored me. It was and is hard for me to talk to people normally. It's terrible to say but when I slightly start to lose my temper, I can see myself sticking someone with my claws. When it happens I can feel the warmth of the blood as it seeps from them over my hands. I can smell in the air." Gideon let out a sigh. He absentmindedly looked at his hands. Others would see clean hands he saw the stains he knew would never come off. "Basically I don't like straying from a comfort zone." He said probably might be hard for people to believe him not wanting to leave a supposed comfort zone. "Before I didn't talk to you. As you made pretty clear you didn't care to talk to Alpha's or New Mutants as we then. Evie was the only non teammate you ever dealt with. And then I believe it was mainly because she interested you. Honestly I figured since I was dating Bella a person I know you can't stand I just figured even if you tolerated me I wasn't on your list of people who could talk to you." He said it all very bluntly. It was how he was he analyzed situations and acted accordingly. Which was another reason he tended to stick with just talking with Bella and Evie. Never mind that fact that he still believed those that actually knew of his Hydra past still held it against him. Something he couldn't blame them for, he didn't terrible things when with them. Things that not even an extended lifetime as he would most likely have could ever make up for.
