 The girl giggled a bit, taking it as an invitation and pouncing onto his back 'Giddyup!' She cried, pointing ahead.

Oukami nearly fell over but laughed, 'galloping' off with Six on his back. He ran for a good five, ten minutes before he reached the edge of the forest, the village in sight. He stopped, letting Six down."Erm. I'm gonna stop here tonight. I really don't want to go home..."

Six was yawning profusely, mumbling something about forgetting her shirt and shoes. 'C-can't we go get them? They're at the lake.' The sleepy dysadin pointed out through her yawn.

"Oh! Erm. Yeah, of course" Kami agreed, scooping her up again and beginning to head to the lake.

Along the way, Six fell asleep against his back, snoring lightly. Apparently the entire insane ordeal had had a bigger impact on her than she'd let on. Barrie's journal still stuck out of her back pocket as she was carried along through the forest.

Oukami didn't even get half way to the lake before hearing that Six was snoring on his back. With a sigh, he decided to stay with her for the night, and draped her sleeping form over his shoulder whilst he climbed a tree. Deeming it safe, he fashioned a hammock for his companion before dropping her into it, before making one for himself and falling asleep.
The next day, both awoke to the unmistakeable screech of Oukami's mother. Oukami helped Six down and watched the scene unfold before his eyes in horror, before being dragged to Miri's and informed of Halima's, the Dysadin who asked Oukami to dance, crush on him. The two girls bullied him into asking the poor girl out, and the trio were now stood in the village square, looking out for the girl.

 Halima was sitting with her friends, talking and giggling. She had a notebook clutched in her hands, her tail flicking here and there and yet oblivious to Kami's intentions. Six giggled a little, clutching Miri's arm and waiting for Kami to approach Halima.
'Go on, we're totally not watching!' She encouraged, suppressing the urge to double over in her snickering.

"You are" He insisted, glancing over at the gang, and in particular at the notebook after what Six and Miri had been saying. He looked away again quickly."H-Her friends are there, I can't!"

'HEY! HALI!' Six bellowed, grabbing the girls' attention. 'COME HERE!' She waved over the white-haired dysadin, who, despite seeming a little flustered, quickly approached. 'Problem solved' Six grinned at him before grabbing Miri and bolting with her to find a place to watch from in hiding, leaving a confused Halima to stop in front of Kami. She gave Kami a bewildered look, asking of him '...Why'd they just run off like that?'

"Erm. I don't know" He lied, scratching behind his head awkwardly. He was already turning slightly pink and he hadn't even said anything yet.

Her friends were watching the pair, giggling loudly. Hali gave them a stern glance over her shoulder before looking back at him and asking, 'Um...well...how have you been? I um, heard things weren't going so good with your parents...'

The poor boy went yet more embarrassed, painfully aware of the attention on him, and stooped slightly, as if to make himself a little smaller."Y-yeah. I've had better times. L-Less said the better, r-right? B-But how about you? How're you?"

'Oh, um, I'm fine...' Hali looked genuinely surprised that he was actually showing an interest, though couldn't help but notice his shrinking stature. 'Um...are you okay, Kami?' The girl asked, oblivious.

"Yeah, I'm fine" He promised, forcing a smile. His tail coiled around his leg awkwardly."I... erm. I'll see you later?" He tried, having seemingly forgotten that he was meant to ask, first.
