OOC: Jason, I hope everything goes well for you. Take your time. We'll be here when you get back.
IC:
Being in a state of complete unconsciouness really does go by quickly. Penny only experienced it once before when she had her tonsils removed at the age of 9. It seemed like the entire ordeal lasted only seconds. But when she finally woke up for good, they were in an entirely different place.
No longer were they stuck in cages, but they were now stuck in prison cells. Three or four of them were stuck together. With her there was the girl fighting Morgan, was her name Wanda?, Jamie, and Anna.
"Hey, Wanda, are you okay? Anna? Jamie?" Penny asked. She looked across the way to see other people shifting and waking up. Everybody had these clunky colars on. She was convinced now that they were power inhibitors.
"Can anybody use the powers? Mine seem gone... "
This place was damp and cold. Penny couldn't fathom who would want to capture this group of kids. If they wanted somebody with amazing powers, they could have taken Storm or ambused Wolverine. Why them?
Penny tried to take a head count but her vision hadn't returned completely yet. She felt foggy and like she couldn't see straight. All she could tell is that the rest of the mutants were in cages acrossed and to the left. Some were starting to mumble.
OOC: Pick your roomies. j/k

Jamie shook his head. "Ughhh. . . Damn my head hurts. . ." Jamie shook his head once more, trying to clear it. "No. . . I can't use my powers either. Is everyone ok? And does anyone have any clue where the hell we are?"
OOC: Sorry about the horrible post, but I've been having trouble coming up with anything.

OOC: It's okay Jamie. I'm sure something will come to you.

Penny looked around. The room actually reminded her of the dungeons or the highest towers of some castle in some story like Three Muskateers or Count of Monte Cristo. There were tiny slits at the top of the walls that were too tall for her to reach even at 5'11". She could see sky, though, now that her eyes were focusing.
"Somewhere with blue skies," She said, "Definately not New York."
She poked her head as far into the bars as she could to see if there were guards on either end. There were two at the door.
"looks like they're ready for a war," She said noticing their rediculously armored bodies. Then again, if she were a human with a room of possibly dangerous mutants she'd be suited up pretty good too.

Morgan's mind finally clears from the fog that had filled it, as the tranquilizers had finally worn off. "Dammit, whatever they injected me with, it sure packed a wallop. The reached to his neck to feel where the dart had hit, and instead found a metal collar. He didn't need to be a genius to figure out that he was a prisoner.
He looked out of the bars of his cage, and saw that there were no cameras in the room. Geuss they really don't need to worry about us escaping, he thought.
"Penny? No, I can't use my powers either. They must have some sort of inhibitors, probably in these collars. There's got to be a way to get them off, though," he calls back. He looks around, and sees that there are a couple other people in the cage with him. A girl, and a boy. Both seemed to be around twenty give or take.
"You're part of the new batch, aren't you? I haven't seen you around here yet," the girl says, with a slight irish accent. Her hair is dark blue, and tied back in a rough braid. Her emerald eyes peer at him curiously.
"Yeah, I'm Morgan. Where is here, anyways?" he replies.
"Morgan Onasi?"
Morgan nods, not sure what to make of her knowing his last name.
"So, this is the one? The "Remnant"?" says the other one, the boy. His eyes are strange. The whites are silver, the irises are black, and the pupils are red. His hair is like a wolf pelt. Salt and pepper, in a shaggy shoulder length mass.
"Remnant? What're you talking about?"
"We've heard some of the people talking about someone named Morgan Onasi, calling him the "Remnant", and making references to some "Project". We still don't know what they mean with it," replies the girl.
"Neither do I," Morgan says, perplexed. "And you seem to know my name, but I don't recall you mentioning yours."
"I'm Jack, but most people call me Nano. I geuss it's because of my power," he says, wincing slightly. He's wearing a collar, but it's different than the ones on the others.
"Your collar-"
"Yeah, I know. It delivers an electric shock to my body every ten minutes. It's how they disrupt my abilities."
Morgan decide not to ask right now. "Jack... And you are?" he says, turning to the girl.
"I'm Marie, but my friends, before I ended up here, of course, called me Astral," she replies.
"Well, you already know my name," Morgan adds.

Wanda groaned as the x-men girl called her name. "Yeah I think so..." She looked around for Freya but didn't saw her anywhere. "Where's Freya?"
All she got was the "who?" look. "The girl who was fighting Storm. You know, the crazy blond who was talking to herself and sent a rather odd looking half-naked wind faery againts Storm?"

Anna was groggy from the drugs, and her neck was bruised from where the dart struck her, it was painful to swallow. Not that that was a big problem, as her mouth was extremely dry. Also, there was another reason why she found swallowing painful. A rather chunky metal collar was around her neck, and it was quite tight. Whoever put this on had made sure that it couldn't be taken off. She stopped playing with the necklace and looked around.
She was kneeling on a stone floor in some kind of prison cell, bars at the front, thick as her wrist. Her head was still a little cobwebbed, but she had sense enough to realise the sooner they got out the better. She stood uneasily and checked the others. Penny was in her cell, along with two girls she didn't know. They were in various stages of coming to, she wouldn't bother them. Peering through the bars, she could see some guards down the end of the corridor. The bars were as solid as anything. Even the strongest mutants would have a hard time bending them. Still, when one had access to such tools as Anna did, bending things was an obsolete tactic.
She swiped a hand at the bars, only to hear a "clong!" and her hand hurt. She bit her tongue to stop swearing. "Well... been a while since that happened..." she winced, looking back at Penance.
Penny looked at her, shook her head and pointed at the collar she was wearing. Anna head started working. "Oh right... I guess that makes sense." she replied, playing with her necklace.
If she could just find a way to loosen it enough so that perhaps it didn't effect her for a split-second, then she could cut it off and be free. She tried to slip a thumb underneath it to lever it away from the flesh, and she was doing well until it beeped. Immediately Anna shuddered and dropped to the ground, spasming violently. Penny rushed over to check on her, but after a few seconds, she stopped jerking and settled, eyes closed and breathing heavily. That was the most intense electric shock Anna had ever recieved, it felt like someone had hit her with two tasers at once. She felt like her heart was going to explode, and she coughed to expell the smoke she was certain her lungs had filled with.
After a few moments, she weakly sat up with her legs adise her, totally drained.
"Okay... don't try taking off the collars."
From down the corridor, she could hear the guards having a chuckle at her expense.

"Wow, they're assholes," Penny sneered down the hallway.
After Wanda gave her description of Freya, Penny said, "Oh that's girl. Whatever she did was actually pretty cool. "
Penny looked at one of the cells acrossed the way, "I think she's over there." Penny pointed ot the one cady corner from them. It was hard for her to see who was in it.
"Hey, is everybody okay?" Penny said to the kids across from her, "Anna just discovered that you shouldn't try removing the collars..."
"Wow this is a shitty field trip." Penny looked around at the windows again, "Hey, which ever is taller, can you climb up on my back... tell us what you see out there."
She got down on all fours towards the back wall of the cell under the window slats.

Pietro slowly stumbled to his feet, and looked around, finding that he was now all but alone, though there was a strange girl picking soldiers off of him. The main ship had disappeared, no doubt taking most of his buddies with them.
"Hurry, before the others come back," she said, motioning for him to follow. Pietro perked an eye.
"Hurry? You and I have obviously not met," he said with a smirk as he lifted her up in his arms. In a moment, he had them whisked away at nearly the speed of sound, putting miles worth of distance between them and their pursuers.
"So who are you, and what the hell just happened?" spat Pietro, not feeling terribly polite at the moment.

"That's the thanks I get for saving your a**? I should have just left you there," said the girl, jumping down out of his arms, "And I'll be the one to ask the questions here. Now let's get moving if you want to save your friends." Pietro caught a glimpse of a silver thing attached on the girl on the inside of her jacket.

Never one to let other people's opinions of him sway him, Pietro moved like a streak of living silver, and reached for the piece of jewelry out of the girl's jacket, inspecting it in a very nosy manner.
"What's this, and how do you know where those idiots went? You know if they're waiting for me to save them then they've become a hell of a lot more insane than they ever were if you ask me..."

"Hang on a sec, Penny. They might be able to negate our powers, but they can't erase years of training," Morgan said, looking around at the cell. He backed up, ran straight at the wall. He leapt at it, and then fired the muscles in his legs again to ricochet off towards the small slit at the top. He managed to hook his fingers through it, and pulled himself up to take a peek.
"Whoa. Unless whatever they injected me with screwed up my eyes too, it's a jungle out there. Literally," he said, dropping down to the floor of the cell.

"Show off," Penny said jokingly. She didn't want to attempt to try to jump up there, she wasn't used to her own body without her mutant abilities. She usually felt light and graceful, but she felt like a heavy cow at the moment like her body was rejected her.
"A jungle... huh, wonder if these tools took us to South America or Antartica?" Penny commented, "This isn't the way I'd want to get to the Savage Land."
Penny started to look at their caging to see if there were any trips or wires that they had to contend with. There had to be a way out... between the lot of them there were enough tricks somehow maybe.

"I don't care how outside looks. Let's just get out of here. I hate cells," snapped Wanda. Since she wasn't hearing a fast complaining down the cells block, she assumed Pietro hasn't been caught with them. Someone must have save him but that person won't be able to protect him from me once I'm out of here.
"Just calm down Wanda," said a voice on the other side. It was Freya. She didn't sound very worried or frightened. She even sound peaceful. "Everyone, you should focus on a way to get out of here. Or at least make our location known to possible allies."
"Then you can count that useless brother of mine out. He never cared to help anyone but himself."
"I was thinking about the professor and their teachers," mentionned Freya as she pointed to a x-men student. "I hate this collar and not being hearing the voices of spirits is frightening and nice at the same time... But I rather hear them."

"I wonder how strong the jolt is beyond taking down one person," Penny looked at the collar on Anna's neck, "If it doesn't grow any greater than what hit you... could we conceivably get one off of a person if we took that one jolt and concentrated it on four people rather than one? It would only be a fraction as severe."
"Just one of us busted out would be a great advantage to the situation. Anna probably could be the best bet if her aim is on... she can slice through these mothers."

"Too bad I'm in a different room," said Freya. "I could have been a good asset myself." She shrugged with an innocent smile. "Not my time to shine yet."
"Whatever, Freya," said Wanda. "Anything would go for me as long as I can get out of here and kick a** with a crowbar."
Freya let a scary sound escaped her lips. "Wanda! That's horrible!"
"Stop making fun of me!"
Freya giggled. "But you're so fun to tease."
Wanda looked back at the group who gave her an odd look again. She sighed. "Don't bother to understand. Please... Just don't..."
