*MK nodded to Kelissa, giving Asphyxia an unsure look before rushing down the hill. Several Akumoni followed suit, coming down from where the portal had dropped them*

Kelissa jerked her head in the direction that MK had gone running, to signal to the rest of the group to follow after him. Clutching his axe, Jervaid started to swiftly move across the snow.  Paris drew his rapier, holding it tightly in his right hand. He gave Asphyxia a gentle nudge, to get the nervous looking girl moving. Behind him, Gallaine and Evza both exchanged a look before charging after the rest as well.

 Several sparks and embers burst from the tips of Gallaine's fingers. She stared ahead, expression one of determination.  'Well...this is it. Good luck everyone,' Evza said, resting a hand on Gallaine's shoulder.

Wish I'd have had the foresight to bring my machines along. Sure we can manage somehow though. *Gaertim bounded forward, the frost beneath him melting in his wake*

'If the overlord knows we're here, won't he have sent people after us?' Asphyxia suddenly asked, as she trudged through the thick snow. 'It would hardly fail to surprise me if he did,' Kelissa replied.

*Running near the front with Gaertim, a burning arrow whizzed passed MK's head and stuck into the ice behind him*

'Bloody hell, that was close!' Asphyxia gasped. 'You alright?' Holding her hand to her palm as though about to blow a kiss, Gallaine blew an inferno of flames back towards where the arrow came from. Evza conjured up several long, sharp icicles, and hurled a couple in the same direction.

*A rain of ice spears came down on the group in retaliation, MK and Gaertim artfully dodging them and deflecting several as they ran onward. Leucosia went invisible and her footsteps were partially visible in the darkened snow alongside them. Sephira lifted off the ground, creating a small sphere of fast moving wind around herself*
Quite so, we mustn't stop!

Not a single projectile hit Paris, as he used his speed to his advantage. Deciding on giving their opponents a bit of a shock, he cast an illusion, appearing to clone himself numerous times. Kelissa summoned forth voices, all shouting inside the opposition's heads, each one trying to be the loudest, trying to gain the most attention. Focusing harder, she was able to muddle the thoughts of whoever was firing the icy spears.

*A hole opened on the North side of the tower, which was nearest the approaching resistance. A guardian who had been firing off spears of ice fell to his death on the solid ice below, and an exceedingly large canon fired a massive fireball in a gaping arc toward the resistant Akumoni.
MK dug deep within as they ran, trying to call forth his Akumoni power- to which he surprisingly succeeded in morbid fashion. The bodies of a number of deceased Akumoni broke through the ice around them, climbing atop each other to make a dome over where the fireball was to hit*~AMK

Launching a ball of fire, Gallaine carefully manoeuvred it so that when it struck the tower, it exploded, causing a ring of fire to surround several of the Guardians.

*The fireball struck, sending the dead flying like bowling pins, charred and redead. MK sped forward, naginata at the ready and lowered to attack as he drew nearer to the guardians at the base of the tower.*~AMK  *Sephira lowered to the ground and tore across it at high speeds on a gust of hurricane force winds. She reached the tower before most of the rest. Coming to a halt and creating a tornado around the tower, she tried to stop the artillery from firing again.*
