Sapphire awoke and looked around. She had been asleep for two days strait. She goot up and walked over to the couch and continued to read her book.

Jarlaxle opened his eyes and looked over at Sapphire. He smiled before sliding out of bed. His clothes changed back to normal while he walked over to the desk that had a large, old book on it. He sat down and opened the book slowly before going to the page he was on earlier. He slowly flipped through the pages while he scanned them quickly, trying to find the symbol so he could figure out what the gem did.

Sapphire smiled when she seen him walk over to teh desk. She continued to read her book quietly.

Jarlaxle flipped through the pages for a bit longer before he finally found it. He opened the book all the way and smiled, "Finally! Found it." He started reading the page slowly before his eyes got a bit wider, "Uh-oh. That's not good."

Sapphire jumped slightly. "You did?!" she said marking her place and walking over to where he was. "But what's the problem dearr?" she said softly.

Jarlaxle shook his head and looked up at her, "Well, the gem has the ability to absorb any shadows in a nearby area. Which means that it could get me as well if I am near it. And that also means that the remaining two of my creators most likely have these gems as well to use on me."

Sapphire looked at him wide eyed "No...I can't lose you...." she said softly as tearrs formed in her eyes. "I have to help you with the final two then..." she said softly and looked at him.

Jarlaxle shook his head and smiled at her as he stood up, "I won't lose but you aren't coming with me. I will make sure to plan accordingly for it before I go."

Sapphire looked at him. "I want to help you some how..." she said softly. "When are you planning on leaving?" she asked softly.

Jarlaxle shook his head and smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist, "It's okay. I will be able to handle it fine by myself. And I don't know when I am going to leave, probably in a couple of days."

Sapphire looked at him and nodded slightly, pulling from is arms. "I want you to take something with you..." she said as she held out her hand and closed her eyes. Then a neclace appearred that was a Purple color and a green color. "This is give you energy when needed...." she said softly.

Jarlaxle nodded slightly and smiled at her as he took the necklace carefully, "Okay. Thank you very much." He put the necklace on and smiled as he softly kissed her lips.
