((Dunno when she got her sword, I guess she ran to the cabins really quick to get it)) Alyson walked into the arena holding her sword. She looked around for a second and walked around, looking for someone to spar or at least talk to. ~Daughter of Eris~

After about thirty minutes of practice, Joshua was tired. Beads of sweat rolled down his face, as he wiped the away he saw a girl and she seemed nice. "Hi." he called out to her nonchalauntly. He waved his hand which was tinted with bits of red from gripping his sword so hard. He took out his water bottle and drank a small amount, but he left the cap off.

Alyson looked at the boy and did a half-hearted wave, she walked over, twirling her sword in her hand once than took it by the hilt and the blade on the ground, like it was a cane. "nice to meet you, miss." Joshua said politely. "I am Joshua Crest." He introduced himself, purposley leaving out who his parent was till he knew that he could trust her. "You are?"he asked. He looked at her and tried to make an assumtion of who her parent was, but he couldn't decide. So he waited for her to introduce herself. His hands instinctivly curled around his plastic water bottle, it was one thing that he knew he could trust.

"Ok Alyson, why should I tell you who my dad is?"he asked her. He had a cocky and smug smile across his lips. He shifted his gaze to his water bottle, he was squeazing it tightly, so he lossened his death grip on it. Joshua wiped his forehead as more beads of sweat rolled down to his cheeks. It was obvious he was practicing for at least an hour before Alyson came.

I just said I was telling you mine unless I knew your parent. And you just said dad not mom so I just cut off people who couldn't be your parent. And by the way you are holding that water bottle, you feel protected with water I'm guessing, maybe. So Poseidon? Maybe. Don't know, though." She said a smirk coming and going on her face in a quick second. "Well, unless I'm wrong and you just really love that water bottle." She said. Alyson liked being right, so she usually noticed things that would help her get things right. Plus she was good at guessing. ~Daughter of Eris~

His cocky smiled became a look of shock, and bewilderment. Yet Joshua was impressed. "well, yes. My father is Posiden." he revealed and looked down at the ground. He set the water bottle down on the ground and stood up. "so who is your parent?." He asked, he was begining to think that this girl was interesting. His black hair swished with the wind and his deep blue eyes seemed to stare deeply into her eyes with sudden anticipation.

That named made him squirm a little"Eris?" He said in suprise "you mean, like, the goddess of discord? chaos? That Eris?" he asked in partial disbelief. He began to search through his memory of greek mythology. He remebered Eris as a goddess and the goddess of chaos. If he ever lead a team, he would deffidently want this girl on his team. "thats interesting. "he mused to himself quietly and began to think about the possibilities of facing her in battle.

"No, of course I am not afraid. I am not even intimidated." He said in a taunting tone. He flashed a nice smile and sat back down again. "you want to have a seat?" He asked and motioned for her to sit beside him. He did not care if she did or not, he was only trying to be polite and nice.
(Sorry if the posting is short, I am trying to stay above five sentances everytime but it is hard when you are talking to someone. Well at least it is for me)

"I have no clue, I'm used to fighting against dummies or monsters, but I have not used my powers purposly yet." He admited sadly. "i don't even have my own sword to use, so I use this piece of trash." Joshua said and threw the rusted practice sword across the arena. The sword skidded across the bround, before breaking in two once it hit the other side at the wall. Joshua cursed in ancient greek silently and shrugged "i guess i may be strong, for a son of Posiden." He said and smiled lighty.

"If you really want a sword just go to the armory. I'm sure someone there is willing to make you a sword." She told him and set her own sword beside her.
