 David raised an eyebrow and opened his eyes to look at Raffaele. Had Hunter throw people into wall regularly? He thought about it for a moment, you know, now that it was pointed out Hunter did seem to like walls... "Hunter has forcefully pushed Veronica against walls, but I don't think he has thrown her into anything other than a tree by mistake. He isn't one to strike Veronica actually, but he does have a strange habit of tossing people into wall, or trees, or whatever other solid object is in the way."

XA tree? Well that wasn't a wall was it. Wait, Hunter didn't hit Veronica? THAT WASN'T FAIR. He had been like, beaten up, a few times...most of the times it was by accident but sometimes it was on purpose! And, and then there was that time Hunter broke all his ribs and like caused internal bleeding!
Well...Veronica was a girl, and Raffaele prided himself on being a boy, so he understood that part...and the 1500's did respect corporal punishment so....
Well that sucked.
"Next time you see him, could you throw him into a wall...just for the sake of all us poor souls who have had their shoulder dislocated because Hunter decided it would be really cool to chuck us into walls."
Raffaele rethought that, "But not too hard because I don't want to him get hurt."

David wasn't going to tell Raffaele about the one time he had struck Veronica anyways, that had been one big ordeal and David was concerned he would have to physically like... impair Hunter from doing anything to keep him from going ballistic. David chuckled "I don't hit Hunter for anything other than the job, although we did get into a huge fight because of my sister once.." yeah... Hunter had been "seeing" his sister for a while, and when you are as protective of your family as David was, walking in on your crazy charge throwing your naked sister... into a wall... well David had went psycho on his a** himself. They had nearly tore the house apart with their fight and quite a few walls had been busted down.

Oh, wait, that was a juicy piece of news.
"Sounds like somebody needs to keep it in their pants." That didn't surprise Raffaele though, Hunter had always been pretty sexual.
What was even weirder though, is how involved with his family David was.
Well really Raffaele knew he was weird because he had never had much of a family, but still, families were weird in general!
"So you've got a nice family huh? You're a daddy, and a brother...and, what else? Hunter told me you weren't married anymore, but even so you seem like a good family man."

David growled momentarily at the thought then glanced up at the surprised Jose, who then just went bac, to work. Apparently the man wasn't as surprised as he could have been. "I've got one sister her name is Amara. I have a daughter and a son, Amelia and Nihelio. I'm not a grand father thank god, nor am I an Uncle as Amara is more into her work than I am. I used to be mated, which is what we call it, demons don't get married as a general rule, if it's two demons anyways. But she decided that killing Max at any cost was more important than her daughters life and so that ended right there." yeah, on the scale of importance it went David's kids, Davids mate, Davids family, then David.

X"Oh man, it's like a movie." Raffaele sighed. "I feel really guilty about Max...I just don't want to have to face up to the fact that all his struggle is because of me. He seems happy with your daughter though."
Raffaele moved his arms and rested his chin atop his folded hands.
"What about you? Are you going to get back on the band wagon and look for someone or are you done with love?"
Right now Raffaele was feeling really done with the whole happily ever after scene. Being gay in itself wasn't easy but being a versipellis limited him even more and even better he was still in love with a married man.
Wonderful.

David nodded, then frowned. "They are very happy together, I am glad that Amelia found him, but it still irritates me, she is still my little girl no matter how old she is." he said with a chuckle and sighed "I'm very picky when it comes to my lovers, there are certain things I look for. If I find those traits then I would go after the person I guess. But I haven't had much luck as of late.." he said, yeah... right up until Raffaele showed up anyways.

X"Ah tu bumbino." Oh Italian, it just expressed Raffaele better than all the other languages! "They look happy though, so I don't think you have much to worry about. And if anything goes wrong, you can just rough the boy up a little bit...don't kill him though he's part of an endangered species." Raffaele said jokingly.
"That's the spirit." He said cheerfully. He just because Raffaele wasn't lucky in love, didn't mean he didn't want other people to be. And he had lived in France for quite a while, the romantic air had rubbed off on him!
"What are you looking for, I'll see if I know anyone I could set you up with." He winked cutely and laughed.

David chuckled and looked at Raffaele. "I'm pretty good at picking out the ones I want Raffaele, thanks for the offer though." what was David supposed to do, name off all the characteristics of Raffaele to the guy, that just doesn't work like that man!! Then again Raffaele still thought David like primarily girls. "Hmmm, alright then I've thought about it and I'll tell you. Someone who is nice, they have to be a nice person, I don't like crab asses or jerks. Hmmm, someone who likes to cuddle and doesn't mind that I'm a hopeless romantic..." he paused to think a little.

Raffaele rolled his neck a little and taking the hint Juan Luis quickly started to work on Raffaele's shoulder's and neck.
"Hopeless romantic, cuddling? Aren't you adorable?" Raffaele smiled to himself. "Well I'd stay away from those vampire girls then, you know they like it rough." He laughed lightly.
"Hey, I'd let you win me a prize at the carnival and take me for a walk on the beach under the fireworks any day."
Raffaele hummed from the effects of the massage.
"I'm surprised you've been single for more than a day...well, the world isn't full of nice people so maybe that's why you've been turned off all these possible relationships."

David rolled his eyes. He took care of far too many vampires to want to date one, considering he knew how they were... Yeah, that was the problem, nice people, genuinely nice people just weren't around too much. "I don't know." he said with a shrug

David looked at Raffaele. Seriously, is that the way the man had felt... probably still did feel about Hunter? Davie felt sorry for the guy, it was horrible... "You shouldn't stop looking either Raffaele." David said reassuringly. Yeah. Especially since Raffaele was now in David's sights.

"Oh please, that takes too much time." Especially because he had already found that person..."Besides I'm sick of love. All it's ever done is abandon me. My mother, my father, the clergy, my sire...Hunter, I just don't think love likes me very much."
