"I am who I made myself be..."

Faith narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms, "Why are you here, where's Eternity?" She demanded. Her eyes seemed to burn with blue fire as she glared him down.

Adrian held himself like a man uninterested. His apathy was clear as he floated above the ground by an inch. His voice was bored and yet rich in his speech, "Caligus wanted to see you." He said simply.

Faith twitched at the sound of his name and came towards the man, raising her arm to strike him across the face, "You don't get to talk about him around me, now give me back my daughter!"

Adrian grabbed her hand with little effort and pulled her close to him. In a moment, after the confusion faded, one could view this as an embrace of lovers. "I never...wanted to take her from you...Faith..." The voice was of another man filled with anguish. Adrian's arms wrapped around her tight as he buried his head in her shoulder

Faith's eyes grew wide and tearful, "C-Caligus...?"

"..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

"I am who I made myself be..."

Faith nodded, "I know that." She whispered as they slowly let eachother go

Adrian cleared his throat and averted his eyes, "Anyway, Eternity has been missing you, and it's become too irritating to hunt her down..so..." He waved his hand and a shape came into view.

A young girl, appearing about Bella's age in looks. She swayed slightly, a bit dazed by the summoning. Her big blue eyes blinked and focused. A big smile came across her lips, "Mother!" She ran towards Faith and wrapped her arms around the stunned woman.

Faith stood stiff, her eyes watering, until she wrapped her arms around the girl in response. She was beyond words as tears of joy ran down her face, "My baby.." She breathed.

With an almost troubled glance from Faith to Markus Adrian stepped away. He shrugged, "Well, I'll be back eventually for her. She's my only heir and all.." And with that he vanished without a trace.

"..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

"I am who I made myself be..."

Faith held Eternity in her arms and sobbed, "I missed you so much." She whispered, "I looked all over for you for so long. You've grown so much!"

Eternity watched the two walk away with curious eyes, "I missed you too...Mother...who are they?"

Faith blinked, taken aback by this question, "Them?" She asked, looking at Bella and Markus walking away, "They're...friends..." She said shakily.

Eternity kissed Faith's cheek, "Then I would like to meet them then." She said, taking Faith by the hand and dragging her towards the two

"..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

"I am who I made myself be..."

Faith cleared her throat, holding Eternity close,
"Markus, Bella...I'd like you both to meet my daughter, Eternity." She said with a proud and loving smile.

Eternity bowed her head, "Hello, Markus. Hello, Bella." She smiled at the two of them in turn, "I am very glad to meet you both."

"..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

"I am who I made myself be..."

Eternity smiled and ignored her hand, pulling Bella into a hug instead, "Thank you, for keeping mother company while I was away." She said sweetly.

Faith smiled cheerfully when they embraced, hoping they'd become good friends in time. She turned to Markus and grinned, showing him how blissful she had become, as though all her worries were gone.

"..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

"I am who I made myself be..."

Eternity pulled back and tilted her head to the side, her hair cascading in waves to the side, "Like a mommy?" She repeated, a bit quietly, "Do you not have your own mother?" She asked, her eyes curious and probing.

Faith watched the two talk, just glad they were getting along. She glanced back at Markus, wondering how Eternity would take finding out about who he was to her. True, the young girl looked like a teenager, but she has only been alive for four years.

"..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

"I am who I made myself be..."

Faith watched them with empathetic eyes. She knew that pain, when a loved one is taken away. She came to Eternity's side and kissed the top of her head gently. "It's alright sweetie, you didn't know."

Eternity looked at the two of them with her big blue eyes and tilted her head, not sure exactly what they meant. "Used to...but not any more..." She turned to Faith, "Is it like what happened with father?"

Faith closed her eyes and shook her head, "A little, but not quite. I'll...explain later." She looked up at the two of them and held Eternity close, "I'm very sorry, Eternity is still very much a child...she doesn't know about many things.."

"..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

"I am who I made myself be..."

Faith mouthed a silent 'thank you' to Markus for understanding and changing the subject. She smiled down at Eternity, "How does french toast sound hun?"

Eternity smiled, "I would like that a lot." She said. She took Faith and Bella by the hand as she walked slowly towards the house, "I still think this house is too big for two people though." She said as she looked at it.


"Four people now sweetie, Bella and Markus are going to be staying with us." Faith said cheerfully, giving her hand a squeeze.

Eternity smiled again, "Bella is staying here?" She looked up at Bella and smiled brighter, "I like that."

"..and now I'm making you bow down to me."
