Now, with Rose and Shade busy making him dinner, all Dimentio was left to do was make up odd sentences by painting perfectly good literary devices purple.
"...For you ARE the snack... Yes, I think I'll use that..." Dimentio mumbled to himself.
He leaned back in his chair, happily think up more theatrical lines.

The water was starting to boil, "Alright... now noodles..." Rose said and started looked around for a box of noodles, she gave up and just flipped the box in from where ever it was in the kitchen. She poured the the noodles into the pot and set the white cooking timer that was next to the stove for fifteen minutes. "Ok, I'll leave that to boil..." Rose grabbed the timer and one of the raw noodles and walked back out of the kitchen.
"Guess what, Wiwi isn't in the kitchen anymore..." Rose said to Dimentio while crewing on the piece of raw noodle.

"Oh, no kiss then..." Dimentio sighed dramatically. He had just been in the middle of conjuring an excellent simile. But with the interruption, he had lost his train of thought,"...Oh well..."

"Aw, yes... That's too bad..." Rose sighed. It wasn't like she wanted to have Dimentio kiss her, him staring at her was enough, but she did wonder if Dimentio was a good kisser... Rose was slightly disappointed that she would never get to know.

"Unless... There were no other contestants... So you would automatically win by default... Now it wouldn't be fair if the winner didn't receive her prize..."
Suddenly, Dimentio flipped right next to Rose, and proceeded to move his face toward her until their lips met... which caused Dimentio to wish he could jam a bar of soap in his mouth. This was disturbing.

((*falls over out of shock* Wow... O.o You, I... wow... I didn't think you'd actually have Dimentio do that... Well, I'd say my fandom for Dimentio is now complete. heart Wow...XD ))
It took Rose a moment for her to find out what was happening. Dimentio... was kissing her? Rose wanted to pull her head away, but a part of her wouldn't let her. She just wanted to stay like this for a moment longer... And she was right- he was a good kisser.~

Oh, no. Rose didn't pull away, why wasn't she pulling away? Dimentio had to say he had seen this coming, but he wasn't really comfortable with that fact. And how could he kiss when his face was a comedy mask? The mysteries of the universe...
And he couldn't pull away either. He had to make this as demeaning as possible, and there was something about just staying there, his and Rose's lips interlocked, that was so peaceful... No, he had to stay strong, he couldn't give in to his male instincts, he had come too far in crushing his emotions to fail now. But it was just so tempting...
Ugh, the indecision of it all! He just wanted to get it all over with and ridicule her!

Rose, wanted to pull away so badly- but her feminine side just wouldn't let her! It was, just very nice... But it somehow felt wrong to Rose about kissing someone again. All that emotion that was in it, it was interesting to be sure. Something just felt right with kissing Dimentio... No. Rose wasn't in love with him, she just had to keep telling herself that.

Dimentio began to mentally scold himself for not thinking this through. Of course Rose wouldn't reject a kiss, and, of course, him being the opposite gender, would bring about every unwanted emotion imaginable. Even, heaven forbid, love. A swirling ball of the blasted emotions formed in the pit of his stomach, causing him to feel even more terrible than before...
He couldn't take much more of this torture. Not with all he worked for at stake.
If Rose didn't pull away soon, he would just have to do it himself, and admit defeat... A bar of soap awaited him...

Rose was finally able to control herself enough to pull away- but just before she did, Rose got an idea. She knew that Dimentio would probably find a way to embarrass her if she pulled away first. Well, why do that and let him win? If she had to wait a few more seconds in that position so that she could defeat Dimentio at his own game, then so be it...

Dimentio just couldn't take it anymore. He had to retreat.
He was all too happy when his lips departed from Rose's. His face was the definition of smug at that point.
"Ah ha ha... I must go attend to my precious pasta if no one else is..." He chuckled.
And with that, Dimentio slowly floated off towards the kitchen door, in the most dramatic manner possible. The truth was, he was just fighting unconsciousness.
Once safely inside the kitchen, Dimentio collapsed against the door, taking a seat on the tiled floor.
He was disappointed in himself. Not only had he let his plan backfire, but he also informed his foes of a horrific weakness: he couldn't take affection from the opposite gender.
He could murder and slaughter, hey, he could even commit genocide without so much as batting an eyelid. He could manipulate anyone who crossed his path, twisting them to fit his desires. Not to mention his large intellect and his poetic genius...
Plus he could juggle...
But somehow, even with all his amazing gifts and talents, when worse came to worse, all that it took to bring him down was one little kiss from a female. Granted, the female was death, but still...
...I wonder if they have steel wool in this kitchen. I need to scrub my tongue...
Dimentio groggily walked over to the nearest sink. He didn't have enough concentration to float, he barely had enough concentration to stay awake. He just needed to splash a little water on his face...
Suddenly, a large thump sounded from the kitchen. Dimentio had made it half-way to the sink... When he passed out.

"Hot sause, or Lavalava liquid? So much to choose ,not enough..."
Shade kept inside the kitchen, completely thinking to himself about what to make that he couldn't notice anyone walking nearby. Once he heard a large thud on the floor he snapped and turned to find that Dimentio had fallen down onto the floor.
"Aww, great. You know, If you wanna rest, just go to a room or something."
After a moment, he got in close and saw that he passed out from something.
"Great. He's 'drunk' and passed out in the kitchen..."
Shade disliked the thought but he had no choice but to lift him and get him somewhere to rest. He quickly raised Dimentio's body and placed him over Shade's shoulder, just until he found a place to put him down. Once Shade walked out of the kitchen door, he went and looked for a table large enough to place Dimentio on.

Rose took a breath, it was hard for her to not be the who pulled away first- but she was happy with her latest victory over Dimentio. But of course at the moment her face was a very bright red color, but it wasn't the kind of blush from being embarrassed, it was just more of a well- blush you'd get from being kissed, it looked kinda cute.
She was happy that Dimentio left the room, because she couldn't help but fall onto the floor. Unlike Dimentio, she was still conscious, she just couldn't stay standing. Rose was in too much of a daze to see Shade walk in.

Dimentio slowly regained consciousness, his memories of the unfortunate incident flowing into his mind. But at least no one had seen him fain-
Why was he slung over someone's shoulder? Dimentio suddenly realized he had forgotten about Shade. Well, this was awkward.
"Ah... Could you please let me down? I'm afraid I'd rather not be lugged around like a sack of potatoes..." Dimentio said.
At least Rose was collapsed on the floor, so perhaps his little endeavor didn't totally fail... But she was sure to see him being carried if he didn't get down soon...

Rose heard Dimentio's voice, so she slowly sat up and looked over to where she heard it- rubbing the back of her head in the process because of the impact with the floor.
She was still in a bit of a daze, but not bad enough of one that she couldn't get together a sentence. "Huh? Um... well....uh..." Ok, so maybe not real sentences, but at least it had one real word in it. After all, she was a teenage girl, even if she was also Death- she couldn't handle kisses too well. She shook her head, and then giggled cutely at Dimentio and Shade, "Um, you two having fun? ... And do I even want to know whats going on..?"
