xxxxϢhat a freak! What an absolute, total, complete, freak. First of all, who hadn't heard of the game Marco Polo, huh? Second of all...he didn't seem at all too worried that she had run off and escaped him. Well...not that he actually knew, but by the sound of things, anyone would have assumed she had run off. A shiver ran over her and a heated flush came to her cheeks as the crazy freak continued to speak. This guy needed to get smacked with a hilt by her prince charming, or ran over by the damn horse already. Creeping over to the corner, she knelt down, watching as the crazy spoke to Craig before attempted to blast at the male (Aureolin) who had chosen this interesting moment to arrive.

Shoving herself back as the man suddenly decided to implode or, whatever he did, she waited until the cackling of energy died down before she crawled to the corner of the wall again and peered out. He was gone, yes! Looking at herself (for she could indeed see herself, considering her entire person was still...not...visible), she sighed and moved to a standing position, walking down the hallway. "Yeek!" After the abrupt silence, the newer arrival (who almost got toasted, just as she did), seemed to have broken the spell that landed within the hallway and shout. Of course, Anna-Marie wasn't exactly in the mood to deal with questions (she came first, right? Ladies first and all that. Geeze, the men in this place sucked), and hers were, by far, more important than his.

Especially because no one had bothered to notice her, still!

Stomping over to the man (Aureolin), she moved to grab his shirt. "Does it really matter who he is, or who we are, right now?! We're not even going after you so introductions aren't exactly important. The crazy is gone, isn't he?! So shut up about him for heavens sake!" By now, her voice was steadily getting louder, and, should her hands be gripped on his shirt, she would have eventually moved to shake the guy. "Where are we?! IN A BUILDING, YA HAPPY?! Now, the real freaking question should be what in the world is wrong with me?! Unless either one of you are suddenly experiencing odd things that normal people shouldn't be, I suggest you help me out. Got it?"

This was, of course, aimed at Craig as well, but considering this stranger was the first one to speak (very loudly, as a matter-of-fact), she was going to take out her frustrations on him.

Pah, and he wanted answer. Ha ha ha. Right.

▲▼▲▼Aureolin Sen

"Please unhand me miss." Sen said, dancing on his tip-toes to keep in contact with the ground. He took a moment to regain his footing on the solid ground before continuing. "I can see quite clearly what this is beneath my feet. I was asking more specificly, but I guess you knew that. I'd like to think such fundamental questions are important, but..." His voice trailed off for a moment for him to ponder his next few words.

"I can see you are no more informed about this location than I." He took afew steps back. "I was wondering about him to know if you did anything to warrant such aggression. As for your invisibility, and well, his feats of energy, I can offer no solution, nor can I find out how two of my students made a full-sized grand piano fit into my classroom when any and all entrances are smaller than the instrument." He chuckled, hoping some humor might calm down Anna-Marie.

"I would be glad to help you in any way possible, but my expertise does not cover this field. I've often postulated, but...I...I've never..." He shook his head slowly, then approached the woman slowly, arms outstretched. He gently grabbed ahold of her partially visible arm. "Well, you seem to still be corporal. You aren't phasing through anything..." He ran his small hands down the inside of her arm. "Hmmm....Maybe some sort of chromatophore. Now that would be interesting! Although you probably wouldn't be willing to donate some skin samples, and I don't have my lab equipment." He let go of her arm as he released a sigh. "My name is Aureolin Sententia." He gave a slight bow to her and Craig. "My question still stands."

Again he had that feeling that the two people in front of him were not the only ones watching him.

" Trust me, I'll be able to smell that thing coming a mile away." Agro muttered under his breath. He would always be able to tell if that monster was approaching because of it. It was a smell that would haunt his dreams. " Something I wish I hadn't seen." He said, commenting to Kira's question. This was a strange instance where he felt it was best they didn't get an answer. He felt that id they got one, they wouldn't have it for long as they would most likely get brutally murdered like the poor sap that was getting munched. He trotted briskly, making sure to avoid any place that shared a similar smell. They would have to find some sort of safe room to rest in, Agro for one, needed to sit down for awhile He wasn't falling asleep anytime soon, but he'd feel better if they got out of the hall soon. " I'll try and get us some more food." That would be a pleasant distraction.

Absently, Lake placed his hand over Becca's mouth as they hurried along to keep any more nonsense from spewing out...hopefully.

"In here," he breathed, leaning against the next door they came across and into what appeared to be a room similar to the ones they had all woken up in. This one was empty, either devoid of an occupant or abandoned by whomever had been on the bed...Lake didn't much care which. He would have liked to have made some snide comment, or reinforce Agro's idea to find more food (he was starving), but he didn't. He slid down the wall of the room to the floor, his chest rising and falling heavily, and let the rest of them go about their business. His body was shutting down...he had nothing left to compensate for the massive amounts of strength and energy he had lost during his transformations.

Wonder if that thing'll...follow us here...

"Mmm mmmph.." Becca continued speaking for a moment after Lake's hand had pressed over her mouth, before finally falling silent. She didn't protest or try to move away. She just kept one hand on Agro, and walked along in newly forced silence until they reached the room and her muffler left.

"Oh hey, a hiding spot!" Though, when she entered, her face fell. "Hey, there's nothing to even hide behind... Do you need help finding food?" she abruptly offered Agro.

"F-food?" Kira echoed in a sigh, her shoulders sagging a little. How could they eat after seeing that? She glanced behind herself once more, but all that did was give her another full look at an all too bloody and gory ghost, and that didn't help her appetite either.

She slid her free hand down to hold the towel around her waist, her other still clutching Lake's tightly within it. But she let him slip away once they'd reached the room, and he slipped away inside it. She lingered in the doorway, glancing side to side and giving a small, secretive sniff. Like Agro, she'd never be caught off by that things smell again.

Deciding it was safe, she ventured inside and beckoned the others to follow, then moved to push the door shut. "I guess... We'll stay here for a while," she murmured quietly, her tail drooping almost lifelessly behind her. She would've liked to put some more distance between them. She cast the room another quick look, before focusing upon Lake. "Are.. you alright?"

Food...now, that'd be something to see. He wondered if more rats would bring them chips. Then he paused for a moment to mull over just how ludicras that statement sounded.

...Is this really my life?

Lake tilted his head upward, unable to completely contain a look of surprise as Kira addressed him.

"What...?" He glanced away again, shaking his head a little and rubbing his chest. "...Just a little tired." Then, feeling self-conscious at the sudden focus on his well-being, "...how's that towel working out for you? If it's getting too uncomfortable, you should just ditch it."

Craig Ialden

The Shadow Man

"What if I were to...
...disappear...

...in front of your very eyes?"

{{Sorry Bard is sorry. I got caught up in midterms and I had an appalling lack of internet access. Sorry for the wait. I should be able to get on more often now.}}

She...she.... Craig honestly could not believe what the girl had done. She...had...thrown her shoes...at the man who threw lightning.... Did the foolish girl think they would stay invisible? Had she never read fiction books? He had never even read a story where things stayed invisible after they stopped touching the one who was supplying the invisibility powers. After seeing the shoes bounce off of the Lightning Bug, he watched as his arm transformed into a gun looking cannon killing thing.

Even though he knew that it wasn't being pointed at him, he still pushed up against the wall to try to get out of the way. He had no idea what was coming out of there. As the lightning shot past him, he felt the hair on his arms and head stand up as a result of the electricity. He also let out a small gasp as he wondered if Anna-Marie was alright.

Then he heard her voice, telling him that she would lure him away. While he was slightly appreciative, he was even more astonished that she would try to lure the maniac killer away. But how would she...?

MARCO!

...Well...that's one way.... Craig thought to himself. Even then, he almost smashed his palm into his face as he heard what Lightning Bug said. Shaking his head, he almost told him what it meant, but before he could, Lightning Bug decided to throw a lightning bolt at a new guy, then leave, shattering lights as he did. Breathing deeply, he started to rub his head. This place was going to give him a hell of a headache. Well, if he survived long enough.

And then he heard her start talking. Loudly. Did the damn girl have a mute mode? Walking over towards Anna-Marie's voice and the new guy (Aureolin), he listened as Anna-Marie finished her little rant type thing, most likely in response to the new guys questions, then the new guy began to talk himself. Oh god, what the hell was he saying? He wanted to experiment on her? Am I a freaking crazy magnet? I haven't met a single normal person here. Or maybe I'm the crazy one and everybody else is normal? Oh, screw it. Why should I care anymore. Doesn't look like I'm getting out of here any time soon. Might as well just go with the flow.

"Hello Aureolin. My name is Craig Ialden. As for your questions, I've already answered the first, I have no clue as to the second, and the third is the same." He responded, glancing between Aureolin and where he assumed Anna-Marie was.

[ ooc: Ew...Midterms *understands COMPLETELY*]

xxxxϢhy was this happening to her? It didn't seem at all fair. She was a perfectly normal girl who lived a fairly normal life! She worked hard to get perfect grades and be the perfect child for her parents, so why was this happening to her?! At his request, she let go of his top, moving to wipe her hands together as if to get dirt or dust off of them. Nothing personal, just a habit of hers. What was this guy blubbering about now? "He was the one who found us. We didn't do anything except offer a game of hide and seek to get away from him. That's when he went ballistic. Psycho..." She stared at him blankly (not that he could see) as he talked about something with his students. "If you even think about cutting me up for some science experiment..." This guy was an official weirdo. The only sane ones there were herself and Craig, and even she was beginning to doubt her sanity, what with her going invisible and what not.

What really began to creep her out, was when the man began to (as she was putting it) feel her up. She immediately jerked her arm back from him, taking a few steps away so she was near Craig. "Is it just, me or, is everyone we meet a total creeper?" whispered the female to the man, only to pause and give a small sarcastic laugh. "I shouldn't even be talking. I'm as creepy as the rest of them! Maybe you just attract the weirdo's...I'm sorry." The last part of her sentence was definitely sincere. Sure, it was bad enough that she was just as abnormal as the rest of them (although she spoke in normal tongues and didn't talk to herself (singing was perfectly sane!) ), but considering Craig was the only truly normal being...she felt bad. Poor guy. ...Even if he was be a bit of an a** at times.

"My name is Anna-Marie Ainsley...it's...nice to meet you..."

'I guess'

Slowly, the place that she was standing in began to flicker, her image being seen slightly before going back to invisibility. Slowly but surely, she began to flicker on and off like a candle in the wind before her image became more pronounced and she returned to 'normal'. The reason could be that either she was losing control on her powers because she was knew to it, or the fact she wasn't focusing on it. She wasn't an expert on her power (that much was certain), so her mind basically told it when to turn on and off. When she was in danger and wanted to be away from it, her power triggered. Now that she wasn't thinking about it as much and focusing it, she reappeared. Then again, she probably didn't have the extra energy to continue whatever she was doing, so that could be another explanation as to why she suddenly appeared.

The latter was the most basic of answers, and thus, now that she had used her power, she might not be able to for a little while now, considering the energy she had left was for doing daily things such as walking and staying awake. Lucky for her, her body was separating energy it needed and energy it could give up for her. At least, for the moment it was doing such. Who knew what might happen later on?

"Thank you both. Well Craig, Anna-Marie, I'm sorry for what that man did to you two. I assumed too much in that situation. Since neither of you know where 'here' is, then I think it's safe to think that you have no idea where 'out' is. Shall we adventure forth to find it?" Aureolin took a slight bow as an offer.

He was actually afraid of being left behind in this place. As Anna-Marie had so eloquently put it, that man was a psycho. Who knew how many more were like her...or Xanatos in this place? True, he was VERY curious about this place. He wanted to check every room down the hall for more people, but decided that the cost of finding another lightning shooting, mentally impared, person flying about was too great.

Yume tried and tried to find her bottle of pills, but it was no where to be seen!!

This can't be happening! It CAN"T be happening!

When Luna asked, the girl could only shrug and nod." That's right, crazies.. mostly.. but the technical reason for using such a room is if the person poses a danger to themselves." she replied, one brow raised.

Yume stared long and hard at the padded wall for a moment, her eyelids drooping slightly.
"..I suppose ...since I sleepwalk at times, this room was the safest thing to lay me in... I'll be in no danger of falling over and hurting myself right?"

Yume's body felt heavy to her, like she put on a few 20 or 30 pounds more. Which of course was rediculous, she was a VERY healhty eater! "Well... seems like I'm out of luck. No meds. this isn't going to be easy."

" Or you could put on a second one." He said, trying to get under some skin.Everyone seemed to be trying to get their minds off what happened except for Kira, though she did bring up a good point about food.To be honest he only wanted some so he could get a new smell in his nose, and a new taste in his mouth. He could really use a clean drink of water more than anything. Agro was at all loss for ideas of what to do now, things were bad and getting worse. He tried to focus on the positive, like how that thing didn't follow them or how that ghost Kira allegedly saw wasn't around anymore. If it was there, Agro, being a canine would have seen it or felt something. Now that he thought about it, where they were now was actually noticeably colder than earlier. Maybe there was something to what the panther girl was talking about.

"What if I were to...
...disappear...

...in front of your very eyes?"

{{Oh god, infected finger makes typing so hard. Thankfully it's only my left ring finger. Sorry that I haven't been on all that much. Pokemon SoulSilver caught my attention.}}

Nodding his head at Anna-Marie's statement, he reaffirmed that they had done nothing to harm the man aside from offering him a simple game of hide and seek. Well...in all honesty...he had made fun of the Lightning Bug. But in Craig's defense, he wasn't entirely sure if the Lightning Bug had realized that he was being made fun of.

When he heard Anna-Marie say something about not cutting her up, he would have taken a step forward in her defense, but he wasn't entirely sure where she was at the moment. He soon found out where she was but it was a bit too late at the time to step up and say something. Still, what she said next nearly made him die with laughter. Everybody that he'd met in the damn place had been creepy as hell. Lightning Bug just more so than others. And she thought she was creepy? Well...she certainly had something wrong with her. But invisibility was the least creepy thing he had seen so far.

"I suppose it's possible that I attract weirdo's. Or we're just the only normal people in the whole place." He whispered as he moved to stand next to her, now that he could see her again. Looking towards Aureolin, he wasn't entirely sure of what to make of his offer. He wasn't really sure if it would be a good idea to have another person with them, but he could make arguments for either way. Turning to look at Anna-Marie, he left it up to her. "It's up to you whether he comes with us. I don't care either way. Whatever you'd prefer."

xxxxϢell...not that that ordeal was over and done with, Craig and herself were presented with something else. The guy seemed sane, but then again, he wanted skin samples from her. That wasn't exactly...normal. Not insane, but not normal. Sea blue eyes looked over at Craig with a somewhat appreciative smile. So, he didn't think she was too weird. Maybe he wasn't such a jackass after all. Her jaw dropped slightly. "M-Me?" she swallowed, pointing to herself and staring at him in disbelieve. Why was he leaving the decision up to her?! Forget what she said about him not being a total jackass! Why couldn't he decide? He was the man, wasn't he? He was supposed to give direction! Was she suddenly the hero of the day for trying to distract the psycho? God, had she known she would have had to make the decision, she would have just not done anything.

"W-Well...you...uh..." looking at Aureolin, the girl tried to keep the guilty look out of her expression before she moved to elbow Craig, muttering under her breath with gritted teeth. "Way to let me decide, so called buddy. I owe you for this." Stupid decision making! Inhaling sharply and tossing her hair over her shoulder, the girl turned, ready to walk forward, her back to Craig and Aureolin. "Sure, sure. Come if you wish, Mr. Sententia...The more the merrier I guess."

You know...maybe it wasn't as bad as she thought. After all...there were now two men here to protect her. Oh, how her inner female was squealing in merriment. Not that she'd...you know...actually squeal out loud or anything like that.

"Well then..." Aureolin surmised, "I'm guessing that it's probably best to start walking in one direction until we find SOME sort of discernable marking...A map, something other than these eerie cells." He walked over to the wall in front of one of these rooms. "I don't suppose you know what these colors mean, do you?"He wished that just around the corner there was something. An access terminal, more people, something that he could probe for more information.

Kira paused, and it only took a second after Lake had spoken to draw out her frown once more. "...you're fine," she grumbled, stepping away from him as her hands fussed with her makeshift skirt, testing to make sure it was secure and wouldn't slip out of place. Of course, she shot the wolf an irritated look as well. God, she hated it here. She just wanted to go home and-

"Eee-!"

She nearly let out a shriek, but clamped a hand over her mouth just in time to stifle it. "You..! Stop lurking behind me!" she shouted at an invisible space of air, and then stomped to an empty corner of the room. There, she hunkered down and drew her knees to her chest, after first making sure the towel would in no way slip and reveal something she'd regret.

Becca lingered nearest to Agro, watching the others interact with an almost bemused expression. "Gosh, everyone's so short tempered here!" she exclaimed with a clap of her hands. She could've been declared as worry-free, if not for the quick look she cast the door after her cry.

Then, her voice promptly hushed as she went on. "Wanna go look for some rats?"
