As he said this he thought what she would do know that he said he wasn't going to fight. As soon as her hands came up throwing the kunai Edge dashed toward her as fast as he could moving under the kunai Edge brought his sword to strike her in the throat this would kill her normaly however Edge did not unsheath his sword. This should be hard for the girl to dodge for Edge attack out of the blue with speed greater than a normal genin would.

Annoyed with the entire situation Edge said "See my point If that blow landed on any other Genin they wouldn't be standing so easily, if I unsheathed my sword they would be dead." After speaking Edge use the Double Vision Genjutsu again making his opponent see double if it worked

Edged tossed two flash bombs toward the girl and once they went off he ran toward her and got around to her back with his sword still sheathed he rammed toward were her spin would be he wasn't sure how her paper body worked so he wasn't sure what would happen if the blow landed. If she countered at close range Edge should be fine due to the genjutsu in effect and his close to mid range fighting ability's.

Edge jumped a few feet into the air and unsheathed his sword on his way down he swung with great force and speed. He hoped this would end the fight , if he saw she wasn't able to move he would stop his blade, if he could.

Edge stopped the blade on her arm and returned the small cut she did to his arm then leaped back to the side of his sensai saying "There you had your spar, I could have taken your arm the fight would have been over at our level. Now I train." As he said this the anger in his chest seeped into his word then he spoke again "And you should know a Shonobi is a Shonobi boy, girl, man, child makes no difference to me, and it shouldn't make a difference to you either."

"Your right, I would kill everything if I had to." Saying this Edge let all his hatred and bloodlust poor into the words then he turned his back and walked to a small spot on the training ground and waited for his sensai to join him.
