I recall moving years ago, but it was planned. I didn't know I had so many things in my room, but since I was a child at the time, I loved stuffed animals. There were countless boxes, and we somehow had to move the aquarium. Oh, such memories!

Luckily I've never had to move house, though I have changed bedrooms a few times.

Either way, moving can be stressful. By the time I was settled back in to my new home, school was starting back up again... sweatdrop

I've moved more times than I probably should've in my lifetime. We've been in this house (our own) for a year now, so hopefully it'll be a little more stable. When I lived with my mom, finally had a stable place for 6 years before I moved out.
Just because you do it more often doesn't make it any more enjoyable.. simply makes it easier since after a while you tend to keep things in a way that it'd be easy to repack them.
So good luck in moving, Kasa.

Thanks for the blessing with moving, we don't have to be out until the end of November, I wish it could wait until after the holidays........oh well.
Is my aromatherapy thread helpful? I just want to make sure that it's used. It takes a long time to post each one, so yeah let me know. sweatdrop

Aromatherapy is iffy with me. A lot of my boyfriend's incense, even the ones I think smell nice, give me a headache. Candles are a little less likely, but I can't predict which ones will and which won't. I haven't had any essential oils give me a headache yet, but I don't use them that often. Usually just fill up a bucket with hot water and put a few drops in and soak my feet when they hurt. Sometimes I'll do that in a bath.. but I don't do either very often.
Like the famous relaxing lavender.. guaranteed to give me a migraine. :<
But I very much like the information you're providing. I think eucalyptus is one of the scents that I'm okay with. Citronella I've never noticed bother me before either.. So.. It's helpful so far. smile

OMG Neko you are kindred to me. I am smell sensetive. I have to have the fan on or window open to light incense. Or recently I put it on top on the bookshelf. I love the smell but give me migraines. I can't wear perfume with alcohol in it, or smell anyone else's or it's migraine city. I sucks because I have a billion incense but can't always use em. Phooey!

I guess I'm lucky in the respect that I have a very sharp sense of smell, but i don't get headaches or hayfever. My bedroom always smells like inscence, but my brother has asthma, so my door usually stays shut while I'm in there "burning off" as my parents would say.

So far I've only set off the alarm while cooking.. and I swear it's not my fault! He leaves the tin foil he last cooked on in the oven and I don't remember to check when I turn it on.. and it creates a huge smoke poof that fills the room when you open the door.
I wear scentless deodorant (is that an oxymoron?). Anymore most of the smelly ones are just too strong for me. I have one that's powder scented for when I need something smelly to cover other smellies up.. But my boyfriend agrees that's too strong.
I only have one perfume. I used to wear vanilla bodyspray all the time.. but that was to cover up the smell of smoke, since all my stuff stunk due to my mom smoking. I rarely wear the perfume though, but it smells nice. Only one squirt and you're good to go!

you definatley have it worse than me, Neko. But I can share your pain. I love the smell of flowers, but they give me headaches. Roses and Calla Lilies seem safe for me. But most of the time I just deal with the headaches, I hope maybe one day things won't bother me anymore. I use a senser ball necklace and fill it with oils that don't bother me, so that's my perfume I use. It's kinda funny but I grew to enjoy the smell of citronella, because the scent lessens my panic attacks. But I mix is with lemon oil and a pinch of lavender.
Oh cinnamon never bothers me, but I don't think there is a cinnamon perfume out there.

We've gotten a little broom decoration that was cinnamon.. I don't know if it was made of cinnamon or just scented with it, but it smelled really nice.

Chemical smells bother me, but good incense, oils and things like that don't. I'm probably the least sensitive to scents in my family.

My dad uses this deodorant spray that makes the whole house stink of chemicals, it's disgusting. Especially considering my bedroom is right next to my parent's room as well as the bathroom.
