The little boy wriggled as CJ messed with his hair, then calmed down when Clotho moved him back into his crib. "Well... as far as I know the Land of the Unliving is a place where once you get inside... you don't come back out unless you're one of Nekron's Black Lanterns. One of those... you only leave when you're dead... sort of places." Clotho replied uneasily. "And he's likely to have ALL of his Black Lanterns there. Thats... the reason none of us have been able to go in and try to rescue her."

"If my calculations are correct, I think I'm already dead." C.J. said as he carefully put the other toddler into her crib. "So that's it. You want me to go in there, tear up the joint, someone else gets her and then clear a way out?" he asked. Jeez, if Arell were here, we'd probably have gotten Misty's soul from Mr. Happy down there and split already! he thought.

"Oh. No, see... if any of us goes, we can't get back out. So then you'd have two people you'd have to try and rescue." Clotho replied. "We did send a few souls in. They were converted into Black Lanterns immediately and never came back. I'm afraid if you go to rescue our sister, you're on your own save for whatever relics we can scrounge up for you. Unless you can use your powers to get more than just one person out at a time."

Actually Oncaro has abandoned Nekron and any plots relating to Black Lanterns. Soooo.... You'll only be dealing with me for this. And frankly I'm getting sick and tired of my characters just sitting somewhere because they're stuck waiting on other people for months at a time.
Permission to 4th wall the heck out of the Land of the Unliving granted.

Clotho smiled. "Alright then." she said with a smile. "Would you like to go and see if there are any death related relics in Atropos's room to help you? See the sorceress Edel has anything that can help? Go straight to the source of the problem? Or go and visit your girl for a bit first?"

Clotho smirked and drew her staff back around her shoulder. As though she were winding up to bat a ball. "Alright, hold still...." she said with a mischivious little smirk.
Before CJ had a chance to do anything else, she swung. Right at his head.
There was no impact, no smack, no pain, no anything. Just a bright flash of light , and suddenly the man was in the middle of a set of train tracks on earth.
