I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki made her way up the stairs towards the Raikage's office, a package under her arm, she couldn't wait for a hot bath and a change of clothes. As she rounded the last corner she stopped and knocked on the Raikages door, she groaned, might as well get this over with so she could hopefully take a break, she was tired, not having slept well the last few nights, the bags under her eyes bore mute testiment to that. She was stiff and sore from all her running around and doing missions for almost a year straight. Yuzuki grumbled and tried to work a kink out of her neck again, this was bloody unbelievable, she hoped that there were no more missions for a day or two, she wanted to work on some of her basics. The Chunin exams should be coming up soon and she was really, really hoping to have proven herself by now, she couldn't wait to test her metal against those of the other nations. She wanted to see what their future prowness was like for her soon to be rivals....you won't wake up from.

 Kazin nodded towards the Kage, and left the room. He once again dropped his head and went into the hallway. He wanted to wait for Tsukiko before leaving to look for Yuzuki. She was his only comfort right now, so he didn't want to lose his reality anchor. As he opened the door, Yuzuki was standing in the doorway. He hadn't heard heard her knock, but assumed that he had just was thinking about his situation way too hard. Without saying a word to Yuzuki, Kazin turned around to look at the Kage and Tsukiko. "Well she's here. When should we depart?" Kazin's last words seemed to fall, as his voice cracked from his dry throat. He coughed and continued. "I'm obviously ready, I have nothing to go pack." Saying this, Kazin's head dropped and a stream of tears continued to fall.

 Tsukiko nodded, and took the scroll from Nemutai, before exiting after Kazin. The tears were falling freely now-she and San could smell them. "We'll depart in a little bit. For now...let's get you something warm to drink, a bite to eat, and a few extra things from my house." She looked at Yuzuki, giving her a wary glance, before motioning for the two genin to follow her to her home. "It will be an hour at best, so be prepared to haul a** as soon as possible. The Udai Council is no joke, and neither is an S-ranked mission. Justice will be served."Tsukiko Comfort Theme

Depart?? Aw for ******** sakes! She just got back and now she was being ordered to do a mission that she didn't even know what was about. Yuzuki shot a glare into the room at nobody in particular. "There's no need, I already did the mission, where were you two anyway?" Yuzuki was obviously so far out of the loop that she didn't know that there was one. She was not pleased with the way that her one team mate was presenting himself but said nothing, a Shinobi shows no emotions. So why was he crying all of a sudden. Yuzuki took a few steps in with a displeased look on her face, what was she being volunteered for now, she would appreciate an explination and not the short kind. She exhaled slowly, "Raikage-sama, the Farmers mission was a success."
Yuzuki gave another look at Kazin, continuing to say nothing, she totally ignored the Mutt in the room, choosing to focus on the Raikage with her exhausted, bloodshot eyes. It wasn't until Kiko spoke up about fixing Kazin a warm drink, and the Udai council and an S-rank mission and justice, what??!! She shot a look over her shoulder that demonstrated her continual downwards spiral of not understanding what was going on. She deadpanned over to the Raikage, The confusion dots over her head were starting to become physcial.
"... what'd I miss now?"...you won't wake up from.

Kazin looked up at Yuzuki and answered with a very stern glare. "I'm now the last of the branch family in the Hyuga bloodline. Mall of my family and friends living in the Hyuga compound were slaughtered by the Main house family. I'm sorry I missed the simple mission that we were assigned. Kazin cast her serious stare. He saw the resent in her eyes. Looks like this was the reason he bottled his emotions. He could tell that she was judging him, and that she would probably not be any help towards his feeling on this mission.

Yuzuki met his glare with one of her own, and this was an excuse how? She failed to see why the slaughter one boys house was so earth shattering that he refused a direct order from the Raikage. Her eyes narrowed at him, tension started to fill the room, he was being weak, he was letting his emotions dictate his actions and they were going to effect the way the team was run, and chaos curse her luck, Kiko looked like she was feeling it to. You left your feelings at the door when the missions rolled around, and this was no exception.
"...And?" Yuzuki asked coldly, as if his explaination wasn't good enough for her and she demanded a good one for his absense. "First of all, what proof do you have to take to the Udai council? If I remember correctly the Land of Fire possesses both the Hyuga main bloodline and they have their hands pretty far into the backsides of the Udai council. So you'd better have some pretty damning evidence in you backpocket. Second of all, you are a shinobi of this village and thus you are a weapon of the Raikage; when he gives an order, you obey it. That is what a shinobi is and does, bent or faulty weapons get tossed to the side. That is the natural order of things. Your letting your emotions run away with you, and your pressing on without much thought for your actions. You will be endangering the rest of the team... look at you, your a wreck. How can we collectively go about on a mission of such a high rank as a ragtag group of one chunin and two genin? This is an S-rank mission and we cannot afford the slightest bit of weakness in the group, a group of Jounin could, but we do not have the experince to make mistakes and recover from them if something goes wrong."
Yuzuki closed her eyes, nucesences. She tisked. She looked down at the Raikage. "Raikage-sama, if these are your orders I will obey them, but what are we presenting to the Udai council as proof? If we go in with sloppy convictions and accusations they will laugh us out and slam the door in our faces... and if it is justice that you want, the Leaf isn't likely going to just fork over the Main family of the Hyuga. They are one of the houses in the Leaf that makes the Leaf village infamous." Yuzuki was tired, she looked it and wore it on her face. She almost felt that they were rushing into things half cocked, she wanted to make sure that she wasn't needlessly wasting her time and risking her life. She didn't even know what they were going for? Justice? it sounded like revenge to her, not that she didn't encourage needless slaughter and carnage, but she really didn't want to get wrapped up in family feuds that neither benefited her goals nor helped her in anyway. This sounded more like the later, she saw nothing to gain out of this so she was trying to find an angle of some kind to get a better feel for the situation. As usual, she was being treated like a mushroom, or at least thats what it felt like....you won't wake up from.

Kazin's eyes widened, and his stared became one of hatred. His thoughts all cleared and his face was suddenly wrought with anger. He once again let his head drop, but tears no longer escaped from his eyes. He clenched his hands, and his body started to shake. He couldn't talk with her. If he said anything else, he would lose his temper. She was completely ignorant, and he didn't want to try to talk reason into her. Kazin was officially fed up with Yuzuki's attitude, although she was right about his emotions. Kazin unclenched the hand with the message in it, and handed it to Yuzuki without looking at her. "My father wrote this as he was dyeing. If you have everything figured out, then this message shouldn't be any problem to you. Kazin said this as his voice was trembling with anger. He handed her the scrap of cloth with the letter face up reading: juxbtuifnbjoipvtf."

That hit a nerve. "You think you can just treat your teammates like trash, little b***h?" Kiko snapped at Yuzuki, putting Kazin behind her. "You've never had your family's blood on your hands, so I wouldn't expect you to understand. Oh, and look, you're telling the Raikage how to do his job? Aren't you plucky..." she snarled at the other girl. "If you'd like proof, how about I take you there and shove your cold-hearted a** into the pile of bodies, and we'll see how much evidence you come up with, no?" Her eyes glared dangerously, and she turned to Nemutai. "This girl has abandoned her team on more than one occasion, endangered myself and countless others by doing things that benefited herself or just to gain entertainment from tormenting others. Calling a teammate a 'faulty' weapon only shows signs of a later on traitor."Tsukiko Theme

Taking the cloth Yuzuki stared at it for a moment. Rage almost possessed her there and now, she looked at Kazin. "We're going to the Udai council... with this as our proof... and you expect them to hand you over whom you want? Are you on Dope or Dog food? This is ludicrious! It'll take them weeks to decipher this, not only that but we'll be held accountable for wasting their time if your accusations fall short." Yuzuki's cold eyes heated with wrath. She was risking her life for this? "Chaos Curse your soul, Kazin, this had better be work my time and the level of risk to my life. If we go there and the door is slammed in our faces or worse because of... this... "
Yuzuki shoved the jumbled nonesence into Kazins possession as she walked by. She headed towards the door, this being an S-ranked mission meant the Raikage said it so, she had no choice while she was bound to this village. She paused at the doorway and looked over her shoulder"Kazin, remember back in the woods when we were on that escort mission to the band and you scorned me for refusing to get close of others because of this exact reason, and you called me weak because of such thoughts? Tell me, Kazin, how does it feel to have those bonds severed? Do you find me foolish now?"
Yuzuki was about to head out the door again when the dog started to bark again. She turned in the doorway. "Traitorous? No my dear, revolutionary. You say that I've abandoned my team on more than one occasion? I followed orders as was given, and I defended myself against said girl when she attacked me. I had no idea that the sand-ninja puppet that you were manipulating was a host... hell, I thought they were stories until that day. Seems you learn something new everyday." Yuzuki took a step forwards, her eyes widened and her iris and pupils strank. "How dare you call me such, when you yourself can't see what humanity really needs. Who do you think you are that threaten me, and challange my loyalty to this village and then hide behind the Kage to protect yourself. You condemn me without understanding what drives me, you cast me away like so many others from this village and then you expect me to kiss your asses because you have rank or the title of team mate, I am a product of this village and my actions are helping evolve and strengthen humanity while you vomit out lies and falsehoods that other shove down your throats without thinking about what it means, your actions are hypocritical. I will show you someday, what real power is, and I will be the one that tears down this rusty, filthy iron cage that humanity had feastered and grown in for so long."
Yuzuki kept her rage under tight leash and left, she was on a mission now, whether she liked it or not, this was something that was ordered and she would obey, she was bound as a weapon to the Raikage and until she was free, she would continue to be so. Her eyes narrowed as she passed by their leader. The coldness returned to her eyes as she looked over at her, it was a sad thing, perhaps the Raikage should have done some sort of training exercise with them to help build up their teamwork. But sadily, this looked like it was a disaster waiting to happen. Yuzuki's hatred and resentment was starting to consume her, devour her from the inside and slowly open her into a dark and damned flower. She made her way home to get changed, restock her supplies and have a shower after her long mission. Her house was likely going to be in such a buzz that her sister was making Jounin that she would be all but forgotten in the background again. Kazins actions were the exact reason that she chose to let the bonds between her and others wither and die. But that was neither here nor there anymore. She would prove her point without even trying, Kazin's actions would do all the work for her. Weak he called her, well... now it was time to put that little theory to the test....you won't wake up from.

"What a waste of a good shinobi," she snorted, taking Kazin's hand. "Let's take you to the house for a bit, and get you acquainted with things before we leave." They walked out of the Raikage's office, towards Kiko's house at the far end of the housing district-it lay so far out that it was a pinprick in the distance.Tsukiko Theme

Kazin followed Tsukiko towards her house. He was still holding the cloth in his hand, which he still clenched. He was furious, and this was going to be a extremely difficult mission, just on the fact that his teammate wasn't willing to cooperate. She must me stupid, thinking that such a simple code couldn't be decoded that easily. Kazin had decoded it within a couple of minutes of receiving it. Yuzuki needed to be less self-righteous, or else it may cost her her life one day. Kazin wanted to attack her so bad, but she was a fellow shinobi that was to be on the mission with him. Also, she was a fellow villager of Kumogakure, so it would be dishonorable to attack her.

Trudging up the stairs to the Raikage's building, Kiko couldn't help but sigh. Things were weighing heavily on her mind, and she just wanted to go back in time to when things were better...or mostly better. She hadn't seen Shiso or Yukai in well over a year now, and Ichi...she'd seen him after several months. Maybe she was turning into an isolationist again...Tsukiko shook her head, and knocked on Nemutai's door, waiting for him to answer.Tsukiko Theme

Zzz...
"Come in" Said the Kage's voice from inside the office; it sounded a bit on edge; which in turn made the others who where working in the building around him in edge as well. As Kiko walked into the Kage's office the girl would see Nemutai gathering things mainly papers and other items of importance and placing them onto his desk before sealing them away without a sign hand sign; instead simply by touching the scroll that was opened on the desk. "I take it you have completed your mission" Nemutai said without looking over at the girl. "I apologize; but you will inform me later; You are already on another mission; it started the moment you entered this room; do you understand" It sounded off... the normally half asleep Kage was fully awake for once; even when fighting the man looked and sounded like he was going to fall asleep mid word.

Zzz...
The Kage picked up the scroll that had been placed onto his desk and slipped it into a pouch that was on his leg; which was quickly hidden form view as the man picked up his two swords, this would be the first time Kiko had seen the Kage actually having his weapons on his person as he stood there. "There has been a meeting called at the Kage Summit; I am allowed to bring one guard; and seeing as how your Clan can assist with tracking, if things go wrong; I have selected you, understand?" He asked before walking over to the door and opening it; motioning for the girl to continue. "We are in a bit of a rush; I an behind schedule" It might have been due to the fact the messenger bird had gotten there late; after all most animals unless trained and raised in the mountains easily got lost on the way due to the thick blanket of clouds.
