Hataki glared at him as he laid Kenshin down. He pulled him out the cave and faced him. "What is your problem? I am helping him not hurting him."

"I see that. But I'm still not comfortable with you touching him." Terry sighed and looked to the aside. "But this is not how I am usually am. This is new..." He then grabbed his arm in pain. "...!?"

Hataki moved closer to him. "What is wrong?" He asked reaching for his arm.

"D-Don't touch me!" Terry shouted, a strange growl was in it. He took a deep breath before flexing his arm. Then he blinked in realization. "I see...we're the same now, aren't we brother?" He glared at Hataki. "I am fine. Just having a bit of a transformation..."

Hataki blinked backing up. "Ok. We need to get back to Kenshin. He should not be alone after his full daemon side takes over. It makes him weak."

Hataki growled and grabbed him. "look I am not going to hurt him. I love that kid. I would never hurt him." He growled and let go of him. " I am sorry."

"I told you, I know you mean him no harm. But our recent bond has made me...sensitive." Terry then watched as Hataki released him. "No harm, no foul." He then went to Kenshin's side. "... ...I need to bring him back to the cabin." He then glanced at his still twitching arm. "...Will you carry him for me?"

"It's deep in the middle of the woods, far away from where normal humans can traverse." Terry said, leading the way. "I used to live there alone for the past decade or so, but then Kenshin came along. Now we live together."

"Well, I told you part of the reason... I've lived in these woods since I was a child. I discovered Kenshin running through the forest like a madman while I was out collecting herbs. I frightened him by accident and was forced to knock him out before he hurt his self. Then I brought him back to my cabin and he's been there since..." Terry explained as they walked back. "Ah, here we are."

Hataki nodded and walked inside and laid Kenshin down. He tucked him in. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Not really. Everything here has already been prepared by myself." Terry said. Then he gave pause as something came to mind. "Actually...there is one thing... It's very faint for me since I'm dominantly human, but there appears to be an increase in daemon activity in these woods. Also, humans have been able to make it this far. These are possessed by the spirit world as I'm sure you know, so my question here is, where has the Power of the Woods' gone?"
