"Next the left leg." Kanda said as he switched then did the same with his other leg. He watched the boy's movements then continued to do the stretching, doign a few more on the floor then while standing. He had to admit, the boy was a total wimp..but maybe with practice he could be something.
After two hours, Kanda stopped then looked ta him. "Alright, we'll stop here for now." He said as he undid his hair and wrapped the ribbon around his wrist. Same time, the day after tomorrow. Understand?"

"Yes sir," Shan replied, getting up. There were thankfully no cramps, but some kind of ache in his heart hurt worse. The master defnitely thought lowly of him. Perhaps because the older man was a skilled swordsman and Shan was... perhaps just a physically challenged person. They were complete opposites in around everything except gender.
At least the master didn't condescend him. That was probably a good thing about today so far. No insults or punishments for feeble effort.

Kanda yawned as he rubbed the back of his neck. He then looked at Shan and saw the distress on his face. "Hey, whats wrong with you? Are you in that much pain?" He asked as he tilted his head.
'were the stretches that painful?' He thought. Kanda had done them so many times, he doesn't even notice anymore.

"N-no, that's not it," Shan said. "The stretches didn't hurt at all, I just have too much on my mind." Hurriedly, he began to walk away, not wanting to say anything more to the master.
Why was the master so concerned? It wasn't any of his business anyway. Sure, he owned Shan, but that didn't mean he should try to find out what was going on in his mind.

Kanda said nothing as the boy left. He then leaned against the wall and gritted his teeth as he gave an extra scowl to the wall. “What..the heck is wrong with me..?” He asked himself as he ran a hand through his hair.
Ever since Kanda picked Shan back from his house..He’s been acting soft around. He was acting….nice and caring. And that wasn’t him. Kanda was known for being cold and crude. For being strong and not care for one’s feelings. So how is it that a simple…shrimp, who can’t even stretch, never been in a fight before and mostly acts like a girl then a boy get Kanda to act like this?
“I don’t understand…Whats happening to me?” He asked himself as he started to slid down the wall and to the ground. ‘I can’t be changing that much. I mean ever since Alma…' He thought then stopped himself as he looked at the ceiling. “No. I’m not going to think of him.” He said to himself as he got up. He then got a towel from the towel rack and went to the shower area in the dojo and decided to kill sometime in there as he waited for breakfast.

Shan had already arrived at the kitchen, not wanting to think anymore of the master. Cooking always seemed to help him get his mind off things, especially those that involved the master. There was no doubt that something was terribly wrong. It's not only that the master was being strangely nice. The other reason was that Shan was getting more attracted to the master each day. It wasn't really annoying, but it scared him a little.
Something was terribly wrong, he knew. Everything was getting worse. If he kept things the way they were... it would be disastrous. It wasn't that Shan didn't like the change. It wasn't anything close to that at all. He was just afraid for the master. In some way he would be affected negatively, and it was obvious he wouldn't like that.

Kanda finished his shower and sighed. "That was good.." ?He stated as he dried himself off. When he was fully dry, he put on jeans and a T-shirt then headed to the house.
'Brakfast should be about ready.' He thought as he headed to the dining room. When he reached, he sat down at the table and waited to be served like any normal morning.

This time, Shan made some curry. There weren't enough ingredients for the soup, so the next best thing he could make was curry. Of course, it's not like it was foreign or anything, and perhaps the master would want to try something new anyway.
Putting the curry on a plate next to some rice, Shan headed to the dining room and set the plate on the table. While he was there he didn't dare look at the master. He didn't want to think about him right after he had just cleared his thoughts.

Kanda didn’t look at Shan as he brought him his breakfast. He just continued to stare out the window until the boy left him to eat. He looked down at his food and noticed he was having curry…which was sort of odd to be having for breakfast but hey, who was he to say anything? Its food.
Kanda thanked for his food then started to eat quietly like every morning. When he finished, he got up from the table and looked as the maids started to clean up the plates for a moment then left the dining room. He headed to the back and sat on the porch as he looked at the garden with a sort of daze look to his eyes.

After breakfast, Shan decided to head to the study. Of course, he knew he would get in trouble, but something was nibbling at his mind and he desperately wanted to escape it by reading a book. Maybe if he hid in the dark areas of the study, then the master wouldn't see him there.
As he reached the study and entered, he was glad to see that the master wasn't there. Right then he picked up a few books and sat in a dark corner. As bad as it was for his eyes, he was much more scared of the master's reaction to seeing him there.

After an hour at starign at nothing and just thinking, Kanda got up and headed to the study. When he reached the room, he quickly got a book and sat on the long chair. He laid his body down on it and then started to read. He didn't notice Shan at all for he was too preocuppied with reading his book.

Shan froze when he saw the master. For a moment he thought he would get caught, but the master didn't seem to notice him. That was perhaps a good thing. Still, it didn't mean that he was allowed to stay there. He might as well leave when he got the chance.

(Sorry for taking so long!!! I'm really sorry><)
Kanda continued to read his book, too absorbed in it to even notice another was in the room. He read and read until he finally reached the last page and finished the book. Kanda sighed as he placed the bood on his chest and looked ta the cieling.
The book was good. It was a japanese literature his father had lying around. It had a nice story line and Kanda read it through and through. It was..really nice to just relax like this. Kanda continued to look at the cieling when the doors suddenly opened and out came Meili. "Yu~" He said in her honey sweet voice and she smiled. 'And there goes my piece..' He thoguht as he scowled at her and got up.

Shan stayed still in the darness, checking the volume of his breathing and watching the two interact. The master didn't seem to like the lady very much, and Shan couldn't help feeling a little happy. It was probably the effect of this strange love that he wished he never had. His life, which was now worthless, would have been easier to tolerate if he never fell, but as much as he wanted to convince himself of that, he couldn't.
A sigh escaped him, and he panicked. What if they heard? They would know he was there and the master will undoubtedly be mad! Who knows what he'll do then?

"What do you want woman?" Kanda asked as the girl giggled and he glared at her more. "Ouch! Hurtful scowl there Yu. But I guess that is your trademark." She said as she fiddled with her red kimono sleeve and smiled at him seductively. "I just came to visit. Wanted to see my precious Yu."
"I'm not anything of vaalue to you, woman." He said as he got up then put the book away. He then heard the distinct sigh of someone and recognized the little voice immediately. What was thre shrimp doing in here? Was he reading and Kanda didn't notice since he too was into his book. He looked at Meili and saw that she didn't notice and said nothing about Shan being in here and he tried to persuade her to leave his house.
