Kageko laughed a bit as she tried to call a waitress or a waiter over, "Yep, this is it. As for what curry is, you'll see soon. By the way, how well can you handle spicy food?".

(OOC: Okay.... Second question, what does "Konbonwa" mean?)

He managed a sheepish grin, possibly the most positive facial expression he'd shown today. "Not at all. Why? He took that moment to look for something in his yukata, as if searching or something.

"No... He's right in front of you."

For a second, Kageko had a devilish grin on her face, but she quickly wiped it off, As her sly smile flashed on then off, a waiter approached the table that she and Hiruzen were sitting at and offered a menu.

"No, it's alright," Kageko replied as she pushed the menu back, "I'd like the third-level regular chicken katsu curry with rice for him and the first-level regular chicken katsu curry with rice for me along with an entire pitcher of water and two servings of pork dumplings."
Jotting down the girl's orders, the waiter then left with a bow to prepare the order.

Kageko thought to herself as she hummed contentedly, .

Turning back to Hiruzen, Kageko explained, "The levels that I ordered with are levels of spiciness. Curry, depending on your preference, can be made to be extremely spicy or extremely mild. It's basically a thick sauce flavored primarily with a variety of spices."

(OOC: Okay, got it. Now, to memorize it sweatdrop . Oh, and just in case you get the wrong idea, I completely made up the levels thing off the top of my head sweatdrop . Although, I do know that certain restaurants have a similar system with their food.)

For a breif moment, Hiruzen was terrified. That aweful grin... But when he looked at Kageko's face again, he saw nothing but a small, innocent smile. Deciding to write it off as just a figment of his imagination. Thinking on the subject of spices... "It's sounds good, but just how spicy can it get?"

"No... He's right in front of you."

(( Oh, yeah. That famous memory of yours! XD
And your "Spice Level" sounded pretty plausible. I was actually planning on looking on the front page to read up a bit on it, that's how legitemate it seemed! xd So, the higher the number, the spicier, or something? ))

(OOC: Yep 3nodding . I was thinking that the fifth level would be the highest. Just to make sure, but you do know what curry is, right?)

"Hmm.... Fairly spicy," Kageko replied as the waiter returned with the pitcher of water and glasses. Soon after came the pork dumplings and the curry. "Why don't you try it for yourself?" the girl replied as she left her curry untouched while pouring out the water, "You'll probably be able to gauge it from a taste." Subtly she pushed her own glass of water towards Hiruzen. She had no idea how much he'd react to the spiciness of the third level curry but it was better to be safe than sorry.

(OOC: Sorry, might have to go and sleep soon sweatdrop .)

He shrugged, and lifted a batch of rice doused with the murky orange paste-like sauce to his nose, and sniffed it a bit. It smelled edible, so he simply popped it into his mouth, and chewed.
And swallowed.
Before grabbing another bit of his food with the wooden chop-sticks, and eating that as well.
"Oh, wow, this is pretty good! What do you mean about it being spicy, though? This is pretty cool compared to that ramen I got that one time..." Little did he realize that at that occasion, someone was tricking him by pouring a decent amount of pulped habenero peppers into what was supposed to be a "Mildly spiced" bowl of beef ramen. His scale of spiciness started with full chili pepers, hence why he thought he couldn't take anything spicy. He was actually pretty ressistant, thanks to the foul-play of the villagers in his old village.
Not that he knew any of this, continuing to eat the delicious food infront of him. He hadn't even stopped to drink anything. Then again, this was his first real meal in a while, so one could find it understandable...

(OOC: Darn you scream !!!)

Kageko merely watched in fascination as the boy shoveled down the curry. It was only mid-level, but, even the mildest curry was was a little spicy. As for the fifth-level, the shop had even had a competition once about who could eat a whole pot full of the fifth-level curry the fastest without any water. However, the problem with the challenge was that there was no one who could even finish half of the curry, even with water. In other words, the third-level curry wasn't exactly what one would call "not spicy". "Wh-what kind of ramen was it?" Kageko asked, slightly surprised as she saw the boy stuffing his face. He looked almost as bad as Vincente when he was eating... almost. Deciding to not say anything about his eating habits while he was eating, Kageko also began to eat her curry. Her style of eating was far neater than her older brother's but just as fast, a skill that she needed to gain if she wanted to keep all of her food.

Castiel saw the people come in and have their conversation, and he would get up, and leave the place to go and find a better and more suitable place to train.

He looked up at the question that had been directed at him, and only just noticed how his companion was eating. While far more graceful than his method, she was going just as fast. He took that moment to take a tentative sip of water, washing down the last few morsels of food left in his mouth and shrugged. "The called it 'Spicy Beef Ramen', but no one else seemed to have any problems with. Are you sure this curry stuff is even spicy? I mean, it's seasoned nicely, but nothing hotter than that..." He looked down abrubtly, going back to his food. To him, it had sounded like he had critized Geko-chan, and he didn't want to bother her too much! She not only actually hung out with him, she even treated him to dinner!
Sure, it might not be as spicy as he had thought(Poor, twisted values...), but it was good! He continued to eat, albiet at a slower pace, staring down at his plate.

"No... He's right in front of you."

(( *laughs.* Don't worry, you'll have plenty of other oppurtunities!
Hiruzen did grow up all alone, so it stands to reason that he'd be reasonably naive about many facets of village life, right?
While it may be mean to do so... Pranks spring forth from oppurtunities! ))

"Well," Kageko replied as she took a pause to drink some water and eat a dumpling, "It's possible for ramen to be spicy, but, really, that must be some extremely spicy ramen if it makes you consider this level of curry mild. Where'd you get it? Now I want to try it out." Looking up, she saw Hiruzen continue to eat while looking down at his plate, as if he was a puppy that had just done something very bad.

Hiruzen suddenly looked up at Kageko, an expression of... Fear? Hatred?... Something flashing across his face, before he stared at his, now, empty plate, grabbing a pork bun of his own, biting into it agressively, and chewing in silence. After he swallowed, and seemed overall more calm, he gave the girl an oddly pleading glance. "I... Don't wanna talk about it..."

A curious look passed over Kageko's face as she was about to ask Hiruzen why before she stopped herself as she registered his pleading look and also her own thoughts not too long ago, "Well then!" Kageko exclaimed cheerfully as she finished up the last of her dumplings and curry, "Hurry up and finish Hiru-chan! There's a festival and, from the looks of it, it seems to be about to wind down. We'll have to hurry if we want to see all of it." As she admonished her friend, Kageko called over a waiter and asked politely for the check.

An almost unnoticeable upwards curve of lips were the only outwards indication of his subtle change in his mood. With a light nod, he reached for and picked up the last of the buns, and bit into it, watching Kageko with wide eyes. I'm sorry... I'll tell you sometime, I promise...
Done with his meal, Hiruzen leaned back, still staring at "Geko-chan", patting his comfertably full stomache.
"Arigatou, Geko-chan. That food was really good."

(OOC: Yes! A Japanese word that I know 4laugh !)

Kageko simply nodded as the waiter brought the check. Paying for it and leaving a tip for the waiter, the girl literally hopped out of her chair as she replied, "Less talk, more play. Come on, I heard that there's going to be a parade right about now!" and with that she grabbed the collar of Hiruzen's shirt in a manner similar to how she grabbed her brother's collar and dashed out into the thronging crowd.
-Exit-

(OOC: Okay, we're going to head back to the beach seeing as that seems to most suitable place for a festival to be held....)
