This was a treasonous act that would have been punished by death where she came from, but she simply could not help herself. As he felt her arms embrace around his neck, he kissed deeper as he leaned forward, letting his body speak for itself as he held her closer to him. He didn't care who saw, he didn't care what they thought, he only cared for her at that moment. HE sat upon her bed in her embrace, holding her in his own as they kissed deeply and passionately for what seemed like hours...no...years....

...A few moments after she had stepped through the portal in teh Netherworld, Syd stepped out of the portal into the Garthora. She stood there next to the portal studying the landscape and wondering whether she should stay here or actually go over to the floating fortress.

Indrid nodded as Alastor walked away, and he headed down into the infirmary. Sin was gone. He looked around, he was no where to be found. It's too late, he was already in the furnace.
"No!" he yelled, putting his hands on the gate. The flames were consuming him. He was gone. Indrid took a deep breath, trying to retain his emotions. He had to tell Alastor.
He walked up the stairs and into Eris' room, where he knew he would be. As Indrid opened the door, he saw the kissing. "Uh.." he said, closing it slightly. "Alastor, I need to talk with you."
(This will change if Sin ever comes back on >>)

The air just outside the main gate begins to warp and bend. Reality itself shifts and across a pregnant moment opens a bright doorway through to another world. Without any real form or detail, all that can be seen is light, and a moment after creation a form takes shape. First it is amorphous, then a second later is discernible as a humanoid with wings. Finally, Rael takes his first step out of the portal, and once through it closes behind him. Coming here is a massive risk, but he has to know two things. What happened to Rachdarmos, and where does the Regiment stand? Both answers are here.
Standing outside the Regiment base, he is intimately aware of the demonic influence here. Equally aware is the fact that he is likely not welcome here. Standing in defensive armor that is the height of protection from the Sarra, he does not make a very humble appearance. Still, this might make him appear to take them seriously, so perhaps this was not a bad choice. Either way, he stands outside the fortress, and waits for a moment to steel himself. What lies inside is not likely to be very happy to see him, but what he was just invited to was nothing short of a nightmare.
Taking a few steps forward, he politely knocks on the door- albeit a bit hard. Unsure of what to do, he takes several deliberate steps backward and waits patiently for some sign of recognition. Subtly, he fingers the button to call for his portal home. Demons might come out of the woodwork here to challenge him, or worse yet the demon lord might have anticipated this. Either way, he doesn't have time to make mistakes. His people, his Sarra depend on him. "I am only here to talk, and will do so at a place of your convenience: indoors or out. Please . . . I have questions for the Cambions, if not the Regiment at large." The thought of dealing with a Nephilim is not pleasant, but possible. Best to be sure that they are as viable an answer as the Cambions.

((So you know Rachdarmos is back at Sarra. I just havnt gotten to post as him in a while. Busy with Grathrym ya know. However you just have to call him and he will come running. But next. They havnt been on in a hwile. SO i'm not sure this is your best course of action)))

(( fair enough- but given that Rach didn't come to Rael, he did not know anything. As for them being absent for a while . . . that is OOC info. IC info says Rael should find answers here. If they do not respond soon, then I will have him leave. Either way, walking into a deathtrap is not wise, and given past interactions with the Horde and the humans, being invited to a battle can only mean that they are ready and waiting. Suicide is not an effective battle tactic. For now, numbers are they only dependable benefit to the Light, and being decimated by a battle with an entrenched foe is not wise. ))

((True, but two last things. One syd is there and if rael runs into her he better not hurt her. Two, you know the battle wouldnt be you and the army. It would be you and me. However I suppose your worry for your soldiers is agreeable))

(( Rael is there for peaceful reasons- nothing more. His armor is defensive, as it should be, and he will not attack unless attacked. One doesn't attack those he hopes to have an alliance with. As for the battle, Rael assumed that this is a war, and wars are not between two people. Armies are there, and casualties are inevitable. Rael sees his people as family- and won't throw them away. ))

As Indrid backed away from Alastor and Eris' 'moment.' He heard a knock on the door. "I..uh..better get that.." he said, walking away quite quickly. He felt embarrassed, he should of waited, like Alastor told him. As he approached the door he opened it, and outside stood the Lord of The Light himself, Rael. "Whoa!" Indrid backed up, forming his hands into ice shards. Was he here to kill them? He didn't know. He held up his hands in a defensive manner. After the King didn't attack, he lowered his hands slightly, but still defensive. As he hears what the angel is here for, he lowered his hands, and they returned to normal. "This is..unexpected, to say the least, King." he said stepping outside. Indrid slightly glares at the man. They once stood for peace, but an angel did prevent him from death, so he couldn't really hate the King of the angels. "What are your questions?"
(We haven't posted in here since the Glitch for some reason, everyone seems to be at the Netherworld, including Sid. The Halfbreed is gone, and any other Nephilims/Cambions are MIA. Me, Alastor and Eris seem to be the only active ones in here.)

Rael is very careful not to make a single move. Remaining stoically still, he waits until this newcomer steps outside. Assuming this is the sign of where to speak, he holds out his hands to show he is unarmed and smiles warmly. "I am here as an emissary. Previously, I sent one to request a meeting in my throne room back in the Sarra. For whatever reason, Rachdarmos has not reported back to me. Given some rather distressing news, I thought it best to come here personally and speak. I . . . don't know what you think of me; of my kind. To be fair, you have feared us, and I can understand that. Still, matters have changed and now-"
Rael's eyes open wide as something unexpected happens. Looking to his beacon at his side, the king of celestials knows he did not make the call. Still, behind him the portal opens again. This time, it's edges are not clear . . . unfinished and wavering. Looking over his shoulder, Rael doesn't see much- he feels it. Death. All the blood drains from his face, and his body becomes cold in fear. "Dear gods no . . ." Turning to the representative at the door, he races forward and pushes the device in his hands.
"I am sorry . . . this is a beacon to my people, a signal that you wish to talk. I need peace, hope for an ally- especially now. Forgive me!" Leaping back through the portal, it nearly collapses before he makes it through.

((So I think I left J'valia in Sarra... You think anyone would mind If I just had her come through the portal on thsi side and jump back in? Or should I have a post of her leaving Sarra first? or am I trapped.... Was that our only portal that collapsed?))
