David finally reached the gates, walking slowly down the road. He could see the girl from the office, Genzai was just coming along, and some half naked guy who was sweating enough to prove he was definitely not from around here. Noticing the guards arguing over some papers and looking at the boy, David headed over to them rather than the group, seeing as Karo wasn't here yet. Snatching the papers from the guards, who didn't seem to like the action, but held themselves back, apparently recognizing him, causing him to assume they must get constant updates of events in town. Looking at the form, an eyebrow rose on his face. Was this guy serious?

Turning away from the guards, David made his way over to the boy, giving the other two a slight nod before focusing on him. "Kiyoshi? Is there a reason you falsified the information on this entry form?" He deadpanned. The village 'hidden in darkness' was one he'd never heard of, and most people didn't go hang out in the desert in order to survive.

David sighed, pinching his nose and shaking his head. "Do I even need to say how many things are wrong with it? Let's start with the fact that I do have ears, and happen to use them quite often. And if you were wanting to survive, you wouldn't be wandering the desert with your shirt off." He pointed at the boy's decidedly bare skin to accentuate his point. "If you want to get in, you need to fill out the form with true information. Or at least better lies."

XXXXX Kiyoshi was getting a bit upset at this point, this was a very personal issue with him when people questioned his word. "Everyone lies, but when I say I'm not, I'm not. If I have to explain myself I will, but just to show i am a man of my word. My village is listed as Village Hidden in Darkness, that is my village. It is a small village in the Land of Hot Water, a small and corrupt village. My parents were part of the government force there that was govern by our dictator leader. He had recently died and when that happened my parents tried to push forth a democratic approach, where our next leader was elected instead of appointed. The rest of the officials didn't like that way, especially with the people favoring my parents for suggesting this. So the officials declared new evidence was found that suggested murder, and seemed to be traced back to my family. When our house was searched contently they found a weapon with the victims blood on it, and tried to link all three of us to the crime." Kiyoshi explained as he took a short pause, gripping his fists tightly fighting back a wave of emotions.

"My parents pleaded guilty and said they acted alone in order to spare me, but they couldn't spare me from watching their bodies hang in the townsquare...they wouldn't even let me cut down the bodies for a proper burial. Traitors didn't deserve that luxury, and trying to do that is a crime also punishable by death. I couldn't leave them like that so at night I went out and cut them down, buried them, and left the village to escape my 'punishment'. I came upon the demon country, I lived their for a bit seeing if I could make a life there. But it proved to be to uncontrollable, money ran low and I couldn't keep a place so I fled there to try and see if any village would take me, or at least give me a place to stay. If you need further proof you can look up my name, it should have a bounty on it issued by that village." He said, lies are what killed his family and he was not going to be considered on the same level as the monsters that did that/

XXXXX Kiyoshi groaned as he walked over to the stand to get a new form. "It's not destroyed yet..." he muttered while placing his shirt on while he walked, he forgot how infuriating other people can be. Maybe this was a bad idea to come to a village. Kiyoshi grabbed another form and filled it out as the guards smirked. He took the new form and walked over to the man and handed it to him. "Here you are, everything should be in order, I apologize if the first draft was misleading." Kiyoshi said, it was his fault for all the confusion and the long winded story that he probably shouldn't have told.
