The next this Suzette felt was somebody dragging her out of the water but still feeling the water she had swallowed. She tried to breath but couldn’t and the world went black once more.

Her head was spinning and a thousand images passed before her eyes. Her worst and more painful memories from her past; as her mind lived everything again clear tears rolled down her cheeks. Once again she felt hopeless, betrayed. All those feelings she had managed to lock on the darkest corner of her mind came to the surface again, her heart ached so much she prayed to just forget about anything, even death was better than this.

“know something? Im getting quite bored of this…”Keanu laughed once more at Ergo and just keep walking backwards “I’ll go and play with those who went for a swim” a cruel look appeared on his face as gave one last step and jumped into the sea. Once in the water he was even faster than on land, his shadow disappeared in the water and the sea started to stir even more dangerously.

Dashiell didn't need to be told twice, and the smack was enough to get him going double time. Leaving azriel and rylia to duel. Glancing over his injured shoulder gingerly to glance at Ramial "I'm sorry for all this little one..it really is a shame what happened to her.." he offered rather sadly, glancing between the boardwalk where he knew he'd left alberon to the beach front. "We just have one little person to pick up..I imagine it'd be safest to retreat to the temple for now. It still seems to be standing, and I know there have to be some kind people left there" chances were the temple was already full of the injured and the dying, but other then out into the fields dashiell had no clue where else to go.

He could imagine that his own side home here had been destroyed, and the trip back to his glenn would take far to long, was dangerous to travel by night. "Do you have anyone to go to? Any other friends we should be looking for" trying to keep some small talk going just to calm his nerves.

Fulmine was not good in a life or death situation. Noel was flying back and forth, and slowly, a group of people were beginning to form. He saw other beings preforming mouth to mouth around him, trying to bring back their friends, even strangers, and he knew what he had to do.

He gently tilted Suzette's head back, pinching her nose close, and breathed in air into her lungs, pulling away and slowly pumping her mid chest, trying to get her to breath. He repeated.. And Repeated, trying to revive her.

"Please Suzette.. Wake up!"

The pain had begun to take over her vision, highjacking the clarity and replacing it with a disconcerting fuzziness. The chaos happening around her blurred into one mess of sound and color; she barely even noticed Haveni fleeing away. Her legs began to tremble with weakness, and she knew they wouldn't support her weight much longer. With the last of her strength, she catapulted into the air, the gust of wind behind her carrying her to the top of a nearby building. As soon as her feet touched the roof, her legs gave out, and her body crumpled to the ground.

She could see the darkness approaching, her body welcoming it with open arms. Her mind began to float away, lost on the sea of consciousness. With one last trembling murmur, she let go, floating away towards the horizon. Her body went limp, like some girl's rag doll.

Overhead, the stars danced through the night sky, as if nothing was wrong.

There was noise around but she couldn't recognize what it was, her head hurt so much, she thought her heart was going to break again as she prayed for her memories to stop. She was definitely going to MAUL who ever said drowning was like going home. And then she felt something..something soft of her lips and strange pressure on her mid chest. Everything happened so fast after that. The pain and the memories stopped the noises around became more clear and she started coughing the water from her lungs.

Suzette turned her head around and continued coughing all the salty water out. She tried to take deep breaths and looked around, scared. Where was she? what was going on? Her eyes turned to the Constellation who was knelled besides her "Be....Bella?" she asked, her voice shivering. Had she saved her once more? She rubbed her eyes with her fists and tried to focus. no...it was not her long forgotten childhood friend. It was a guy...a guy with a kind, and concerned, look on his face. "Ful...Fulmine" she finally realized, her head still spinning "what' happened?"

Even in his state, Loki was able to take a moment to appreciate the fact that someone else spoke his language. He didn't let this deter him, however, in performing several backflips onto the top of a light pole. Poised just so, he brought a leg up and balanced on the other, hands on his hips as he observed Eisha's approach.

"Rage?" he responded, not bothering to feign innocence, as he might have done if in another state of mind. She had called him 'fallen'... perhaps she knew something of why he was held in Midgard? That, or he was misconstruing what she had said. Nevertheless, his interest was successfully piqued, and he relaxed his posture.

"O Valkyrie, you sound as if you know more of me than I do," he lamented, folding his arms across his chest. "Perhaps you are one of Odin's, sent here to slay me?" He chuckled, the sound low and broken. "No, I do not believe I have done anything to deserve that... yet." He watched her carefully, but withheld any attempt to attack.

Sighing, Loki shrugged a shoulder, as if conversing with himself.

"I suppose I have been dragged into the darkness," he began, tilting his head down to peer at her. "But is it not strange? I feel so... enlightened. As if a ball and chain have been taken from my ankle. This chaos... I feel as if it was meant for me. Loki is Loki again." He held a hand out, opening his palm and staring into it. "The balance... the scale is tipped, in me, but it feels... right. Am I wrong to think so?"

He looked to her expectantly, his muscles tensing as she drew closer. If need be, he would be ready to flee; as of now, he felt he could do anything.

Oof. Noctis was a landing post for Aeos now. Great. "Get off of me you frozen popsicle--!" Noctis grumbled, trying to make his way out from under Aeos. Noctis's hand was struck by Rosel's lance of thunder, effectively crippling him for a good while.

Although it hurt like nothing else he could describe, the burnt flesh's pain never seemed to end. "Aughhhh--.. No wonder nobody wants to get into bed with you. You hurt like hell." Noctis scowled, sending those accusing words to Rosel. "Nonono-- I don't need another hit!" He scrambled away from Rosel or at least, he tried to.

He shoved Aeos off of him, only to fall back down in a humiliating manner. He was so damned weak and in pain, it wasn't even funny.

"I think I may be okay.. kinda. For now." The pain and inability to move seemed to lessen the berserk power of the curse, his crimson eyes seemed to turn to a lighter shade of crimson. Although it was still crimson.

Eisha slashed her lance at the pole, severing it. "I serve no futile god!" she gazed up at him. Ah, perfect....a rocky hill only a distance away. It would make a wonderful golem to temporarily trap this one in.

She donned her wings, flitting up towards him. "Cease this nonsense, and perhaps one day, I will reveal to you your own secrets." she had a coy smirk on her face. Oh, she didn't truly know much of him, but he didn't know that, did he?

The lance of lightning striking through him from Noctis and Rosel made Aeos want to scream. It was almost as painful as
the flames had been earlier… He was pushed off roughly, attention shifting between the cries for destruction within him.
His gaze flickered towards Rosel, a half-snarl rising on his lips. Ice trembled and wavered in his hand, weak from the loss
of powers from his fight with Seir and delicate frame of mind. His peaceful nature fought against the remnants of the curse
still dwelling within him like a shifting tide.

He lifted his gaze towards the destruction around him, fists clenching. His will fought against his rage.

“We should leave,” the ice constellation whispered, tones touched with a sense of unease. He glanced at Eisha, but didn’t
try to follow. Tattered wings folded in some semblance of neatness, though they flickered with pain and closed oddly.
Aeos didn’t try to look at Seir, afraid that he would against break out in an uncontrolled rage and attempt to slay his
brother once more. There was no way he wouldn’t suspect a punishment to be doled out between him and Noctis later.

Seir regarded the sea carefully from the air before finding what he was looking for. He allowed himself to drop down to the
ground and waved a hand. Water poured back over the ice, which was already slowly melting without Aeos’ power over it.
A boat of decent size slid into view; of course, it was not theirs. But, what did that matter? The constellation’s regular
smirk was not quite on his face as he grabbed Noctis and tossed the gunslinger over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes
none too gently.

A gesture to get on the vessel was given to Aeos and Rosel before he flounced towards the ship, Aeos trailing silently
behind him.

Snorting indelicately, she put her weight on one hip and balanced herself as she stood upright. Noctis was awake, and obviously coherent, it wouldn't do to show weakness now. "Then you should have said so, you miserable creature." She tilted her head as she looked down at him, wrinkling her nose. "And unlike some in the immediate area, I do not require constant rutting to attain a measure of happiness."

Aeos's displeasure was somewhat more wordless and she met his gaze with a glare of her own. Maybe he couldn't have stopped the curse, but couldn't he have redirected it? Even onto Noctis, the pair of them could have had at it and still been close enough to stop Haveni from taking off into the forest. She slowly followed his gaze as it fell away from her.

Destruction was once again left in their wake. Granted, not the total, encompassing destruction that Rosel preferred and attained in their last 'stop' on this little journey. But it was close enough. One building destroyed and many others scorched. Townspeople milling about, some holding each other, some trying to hold Cursed loved ones that either fell apart or fought back. Their previous opponents seemed to be occupying themselves for the moment, whether in battle or in a downhearted retreat. Or, in the case of Eisha and the fire constellation (Loki), a rather confusing convesation.

For the time being, retreat seemed a decent enough idea. Seir seemed to already have a plan, picking out a boat from the rattled but still standing harbor. They'd be under his power out on the open sea, but Rosel would be happy for a chance to rest, and change the bandages that were most likely soaked with her clotted blood. Trailing as she followed her three allies to the water vessel, Rosel cast one last look at the port town she'd be more than happy to never see again.

Fulmine could have cried, right then and there as Suzette slowly regained consciousness. He sat her up gently, looking her over to make sure that she was healthy.

"You were hit by Keanu's wave... And then you were dragged under. I pulled you out, and you weren't breathing." He was slowly reconstructing his composure, though his breath was still shaky, at best. He stood, offering Suzette his hand.

"There are injured people, most of them children. I'm going to help them. I'm not asking you to, but please, take it easy."

Dashiell was friendly if nothing else. Ramial was not particularly keen on talking but it seemed the phryi was not really looking for answers until the very end of his speech. "I have... Who did he have? He didn't know what had happened to the Innkeeper or any of his coworkers. He'd thought he'd heard Meowth so maybe if he waited by the remains of the Inn...

Pointing over Dashiell's shoulder once he'd reached the edge of the beach and began moving over the boardwalk, Ramial pointed to the crumbling structure that had been the Inn.

"I worked there, I'm sure everyone will be gathering there eventually... the child left off the end of the sentence. Provided they weren't dead: well that wasn't even something the little lightning twilif wanted to contemplate. When Dashiell had moved a bit closer to the charred husk of the Inn, Ramial slipped off his back before the phryi had even come to a complete stop; stumbling into a short run to prevent himself from falling on his face again.

Turning back, the boy hesitated for just a moment; "Thank you Dashiell, sir, for trying to help me. I'm, well, I'll wait here to see if anyone comes to see what's become of their home.

With a quick wave, the twilif hoped the phryi found the one he was looking for and before the phryi had answered, the twilif was weaving through the debris to sit on the steps. Other than charred supports, that was all that remained. Ramial sat, curled around the lantern in his lap. He was still filthy, bruised, scraped, probably burned and who knew what else; but with the lack of adrenaline from immediate danger, just sitting down somewhere seemed a good idea. Struggling to keep his suddenly heavy eyes open, he painfully cleared his throat and gave what was, probably by this time, a pointless shout.

"Meowth?! Where are you? I thought I heard you... Meowth?"

More prepared this time for the new speed Rylia had acquired, Azra'iel pushed more energy into the flames on his sword and with a grunt of effort sliced through the tumbling ball of darkness and found himself blade to blade with the girl.

A weapon crafter, then. I suppose I could have learned to do that, but I prefer my sword. Now, can she USE her weapon...

Baring down with most of his weight, Azra'iel was careful to not over-commit to his attack, not able to afford the loss of his advantage in height and experience with Rylia's speed. When his attack was repelled and the girl swung a rather wild attack at his knees, the Constellation jumped to avoid it and was able to land at Rylia's side, bringing the flat of his blade down directly on her outstretched wrists to try and knock the sword from her hands.

It had been the moment she ran behind her small attack in order to hopefully get a clear shot at the light constellation, that she watched as he sliced through the darkness with ease and still had enough time to block her incoming attack. She gritted her teeth as he pushed her back with his weapon. She tried to push back, but he appeared to have been pushing down on her with both his strength and weight, weight being something she could not control. But despite that, she pushed back against him, repelling his attack and quickly already moving to the next phase, slashing her weapon at his knees. She wasn't going to let up. Wasn't planning on it. But even though she wasn't letting up on her attack, and transitioning rather quickly, she could watch the seconds roll by as he moved out of the way.

Rylia's eyes caught as her attack slashed through nothing more then air, already planning that she simply was going to slash in whatever direction he jumped too. It didn't matter. It wasn't going to be that easy, or so she thought. Before she even got the chance to twist her body to the side to slash at him again, he had already started his next move, bring the flat of his sword down onto her wrist as it still remained outstretched from the previous attack. Despite trying to hold onto the weapon as tight as she could, her hands still opened, the weapon dropping from her hands, dissipating into the air in front of her.

Gritting her teeth, she quickly moved, twisting her body around as the darkness around her overflowed, forming into a small ball in front of her without her holding her hands out or concentrating as it quickly gained power as the seconds passed. A smile appeared on her face. She'd get him. And at that close range, it was sure to do some damage. She moved her hands in a motion to quickly push it to Azra'iel, for him to receive the blast and hopefully yell, twist, howl in pain...but the ball did the unspeakable. Before she could send it towards her opponent, before she would feel that satisfaction of seeing her target in pain, as wide open as he appeared to her, despite having his sword, the ball of energy exploded against her chest, allowing her to receive most of the damage, tossing her back through the air with a confused look on her face, Kiru watching with wide eyes.

Azra'iel stumbled slightly as Rylia was thrown from her own attack back-firing.
He had been ready to continue moving forward, but did not wish to step on the child.
Quickly brushing past Kiru, he ignored the lacing of burn-like injuries from the
backlash of the twilif's attack and stood over the girl in a wary stance, waiting to
see if she was going to continue fighting... ready to grab hold and knock sense into her if necessary.

She hadn't expected that. She hadn't expected that her own attack to back-fire on her for no apparent reason. She was confused on the inside, but on the out, she simply wanted to get up and go at it again with that light constellation. Was it too much to ask for her desire to be fulfilled?Hitting the ground roughly, she let out a breath as she slid a few inches against it before gritting her teeth. There was a burning pain on her chest from her own attack back-firing on her at such close range as well as that from her sliding against the ground. How could her own attack cause so much damage to herself? She slowly tried to move, to push herself up despite hurting somewhat.

Rylia looked up, to spot Azra'iel standing over her. He was right there. In her range to attack. She couldn't waste this chance to get back at him. She pushed the fact that her chest and back was hurting somewhat to the back of her mind and with difficulty, had managed to push herself up slowly.
