"Thank you," Skara said, turning to look at Raven when he quickly looked back down at his plate. 'Why is she giving him such a hard time?' She thought to herself. "I'm perfectly fine with what I have," She replied to Raven's question. "You know it's not good to keep things to yourself." Skara told Raven, the last part getting mixed in with the yelping. Delsath followed in a couple seconds after Shadow, sitting right in front of the doorway, he seemed to be observing everybody.

Raven looked at Skara for a second, "well sometimes it is better to keep some things to yourself." she countered. She looked over a Kai and gave him a knowing look as he rolled his eyes and let out a small 'hn' and mutterd something unadioable to no one but him, though Raven was sure she knew what he was mumbling. Aiko poked her head out from under Ravens's chair and looked between Shaodw and Delsath, then popled down on the ground resting her head on her paws and yawned.

"True," Skara replied, not even trying to argue. "Though if you want to ask something, you should just ask it." She said her face turning serious for a couple of seconds. "Though I guess that's your choice." She replied, all seriousness gone. She got up and picked up her plate, only a little bit of food was left on it. "If you'll excuse me," Skara said. Giving a slight curtsy she disappeared through the door to the kitchen. Delsath got up and followed after her.

Marie sat quietly as Skara attempted to convince Raven to ask her question. For a moment Skara's personality seemed to change. She was completley serious for a moment and then changed the subject and left the room with her plate. One of the dogs followed behind her. "Soo.." Marie said, hoping for either Kai or Raven to talk about something.

Raven sighed and watched as Skara walked out of the room with her plate, I think I made her mad." she thought to herself then looked at Marie as she attempted to start a conversation. "um, so is there anything you particuarly like to do?" she asked tilting her head slightly, it wasnt much but it was a starter.
Kai finished his food and his drink and stood up, "i'm going to be in my room." he announced in what he thought to be a light tone. He picked up his plate and walked into the kitchen washed his plate and glass then walked over to where Skara was at. "so did Raven hit a nerve or something?" he asked placing his head on her shoulder, his tone holding only slight couriosity. Shadow padded into the room after Kai and looked at the other male wolf cub and barked once.

Skara had washed her plate and was leaning against one of the counters near the back of the kitchen when Kai entered the room. She didn't flinch away from Kai's contact like she usually did when anybody touched her. She smiled "No, not really. I just think it's a bit hypocritical that she would tell me to tell her if something is bothering me, but when I try to get her to say what's bothering her she tells me that 'some things are better kept to yourself'."

Kai nodded slightly then looked at Skara out of the corner of his eye, "I think i have a feeling on what she was going to ask, and if i'm right then she didnt ask becasue she didnt want to bring up any bad memories for you or Maire." he repiled tilting his head slightly to look at her from his spot on her shoulder. "you get what i'm trying to say?" he asked, not too sure if the female understood or not.

Skara turned her head to look at Kai, only understanding part of it. She looked back in front of her while she thought for a moment. "Sort of," She finally replied. She glanced back at Kai for a moment, trying to read his expression. Delsath finally took notice of Shadow and looked at him, cocking his head to one side as if asking what he wanted.

Marie paused for a moment as Kai left he room, she wondered if he was always so quiet. Her past masters would have been barking orders, or just endlessly talking. She had barley spoken to him. She looked over at Raven and responded to her. "Well... I usually don't have time to do things I actually like but when I do I like to read.." Marie was only half paying attention to what she said about herself, "I'm sorry. This may not be polite to ask but I'm curious.. Does Master Kai always keep to himself so much?"

Kai sighed, "waht i think she was going to ask, most likey had something to do with your past, or Maires. And she thought better of it and didnt ask, not wanting to bring upp any painfully memories or something. You get it now?" he told her. Shadow looked at the other male, he couldnt help but feel the other male didnt like him much, he let out a low sigh only a wolf can and walked back into the room where Aiko was.
Raven thought about the question for a minute before replying, "most of the time he keeps to himself, and i guess you can say hes quiet, though if he gets into one of his moods, watch out." she repiled then remembered Maire she she had liked reading, "theres a library down the hall from the living room, you can pick any book you want." she added with a small smile.

Marie nodded, she completley understood and planned to keep her gaurd up. Not that she actually ever relaxed and let it down. She decided to talk about the library thing. "That sounds great. I think I will. Thanks." She smiled back at Raven.

Raven smiled once more, "though so you dont get the wrong idea about my brother, he doesnt really get that bed, he just gets snappy...i mean like, uh, he just gets, i guess you can say defensive." she told the older female, not wanting to get a bad impression about him. Though the male was quiet and cold most of the time he could be very warm and caring when he felt like it.

"Oh," Skara said looking away from him, and down at Delsath instead. "Sorry for seeming so dense, I'm just not used to people caring about me... I've only had one other person that actually seemed to care." She said keeping her eyes from wandering back to see his expression. Delsath watched as Shadow left, too tired to care why.

Marie nodded, she did not like to judge people. "I dont really judge people so I belive he is a good guy. I suppose you could say I am very definsive too." And veerry jumpy she thought to herself.

Kai looked at the female and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer, "well now you can add two more people who care, and if you count the cubs five." he told her a very rare small smile on his face.
Raven nodded slightly, "well it is in the behavior of most creatuers, we're all naturally defensive, i guess to protect ourselves, and in some cases the ones around us." she replied, almost to herself.
