Roxanne rolled her eyes at Mina's comment. "Let's not jump to conclusions so fast, what we're carrying might not even be sentient beings." She said, slowly climbing into the drivers position on the carriage. "Could just be water weight..."
"You're welcome to join our posse Eric. But given that you have your own horse, you'll ride it and take up rearguard."

"That's some water weight then..." He thought outwardly to himself. Who carries around that much water weight in their gut? He watched as the warlock had managed to heave herself into the driver's side of her carriage.
"Are you sure you are capable of driving those horses of yours in your own condition?" Asked Eric. "I could hook my own horse with the rest. It just all seems so... unfit for a pregnant woman to take control of a carriage."

Roxanne turned her steely gaze on Eric, her normally red eyes appearing as if they were on fire and about to lit him up like a tiki torch. "This belly in no way affects my ability to guide horses by their reins, nor does it stop me from lighting you up like a human bonfire..." she hissed, her threat far from being an idle one. "Besides you just got here, we don't know if we can trust you and you don't know where we're headed..." "Brillux, get your sack of bones up here, we're about to leave." she added, motioning for the undead warrior to join her atop the driver's bench.

"well if it's just water weight then we have enough water to fill a pool."Mina said looking down at her belly. She turned some as she tried to see more of her belly, only able to see the top and sides. "hey, has any one else noticed we don't have stretch marks?" She asked, rubbing the smooth sphere in her lap. "I figured they were smooth but, now that I look at it I can't find any, not even faint ones."

(Was working on a post when my comp crashed. I don't know if Stardust will return to this, he said he left the guild in a topic, but it appears he's continuing the 1x1s that he left behind.)
"Fair enough." He was sweating bullets after that lecture she gave him. He had nodded his head through out the entire ordeal. He was just trying to be nice, but that doesn't seem to work here.
"She trusts a skeleton more than a live man..." Thought Eric, he didn't know how long the two knew each other, but he felt that she should give him some sort of trust. As of right now, it was just stay out of my way and I won't roast you as an agreement. Mina seemed to trust him, even though at times she seemed to be off in her own little world. Just like right now even
"Some sort of magical protection I'd assume, maybe you're just all lucky mothers." He gave as answer to her question about stretch marks. Her skin was awfully smooth.

Mina looked at her belly and nodded. "makes sense considering how the kids were put in there." She said smiling to him. She leaned back some and rested her hands on top of her belly. "I'm going to miss this some, it's nice having a shelf." She giggled.

"Its a magical pregnancy, thus our bodies will adapt magically as well. The spell is simply sapping our own magic to do it." Roxanne explained, settling herself atop the bench and getting comfy.
Once Brillux and the others had seated themselves, Roxanne wasted no time getting their little group back onto the road.

Eric followed the Roxanne and the others on his own horse. He made sure to keep a steady pace with them, not being too close to their carriage, but also not being being too far away. He didn’t want to set off Roxanne’s wrath any. As their journey continued, Eric built up enough courage to break into conversation with the warlock. The stillness of silence was beginning to get to him. "So Roxy, can I trouble you for conversation? You already know I come from the kingdom of Zarel, where do you come from?"

Roxanne smiled at the knights courage as he tried to start up a conversation. It took real guts to come back for more especially after she already proved herself emotionally unstable due to the pregnancy topic. "Small chat isn't one of my specialties..." Roxanne started before being interrupted by imp. "Mistress no talk, she BURN!" the imp commented cackling madly before Roxanne bonked it over the head with her fist. "But I was orphaned from young age so I've never really known one location as home." she added, her hands relaxing atop her belly with the reins.

"Yeah that burn part about your mistress there, I definitely get that." He said scratching his head with a nervous chuckle. Eric wasn't sure if he should be. For once the warlock didn't have a scornful look towards him, smiling even, but it was that extreme facial change that scared him the most about her. After watching her little pet...thing, over the head, he continued to listen to the rest of her story. "That's rather unfortunate to hear, Roxy. Say you don't mind me calling you that, right?" He asked, she was clearly in a good mood. Eric would like to keep it that way for awhile.

Given the trail they followed has little to cause them distress and the horses were rather well trained coach horses, Roxanne relaxed her grip on the reins and leaned back on the bench. "I'd prefer if you didn't as it sounds like a childhood nickname and that might give the image that you and me have a history together." Roxanne explained. "Also considering my profession and yours, such things should not things to be mixing."

Eric nodded his head. “I understand.” So much for trying to be friendly. But Roxanne insisted, he’d have to get used to calling her by her full name. “Well, you’re not out to harm anyone it seems, else you would have tried to make the rest of us guinea pigs by now, or me anyway. If you haven’t notice, candle witches and skeletons aren’t on my list of people that I should be associating with either. Not without confrontation anyway.”

"I'm not out to harm anyone YET." she corrected to knight, "As soon as I found the origin of these statues, their creator is in for a world of hurt..." "As for Brillux here, hes under the curse of dark magic, a type I am well familiar with. I promised I could try to reverse his curse in return for his sword arm... or bone, whichever..."
