Valentine lowered her tazor. "I you went over him Grimm, then I trust there was no one else out there."
Her red hair fell over her face as she looked down to insert her gun into its holder.
"I'm Valentine. What were you doing all the way out here by yourself." She smiled sweetly, though she was calculating his everymove, the way the boy acted and if he was lieing or not.

Cam stepped silently out behind the tree and stood next to Vallie, gripping her knives and watching the strangers warily, the last time they trusted blindly they were betrayed and shot at. "can you prove your one of us" she asked quietly. "legitimately prove, not anything half-formed. i wont go any other way" she quickly darted over and retreived the rabbit from Nicolas and then moved back just as quick.

As Zekiel swung down from the tree Nicolas's arm snapped up, welding the rifle with only his right, the barrel pointed at Zekiel's head as soon as it had come into view. As he continued talking Nicolas lowered the weapon to his side.
Asmodeus seemed to trust him, and so for now that was good enough for him. He could still easily drop this fool if things turned sour.
"Was popping in like that really necessary? Come on Z you know as much as we do that sudden appearances like that and startling people in our position isn't the smartest move. I could have pulled the trigger on reflex alone, then where would we be? You unconscious for the rest of your life and us without a guide or someone to talk to on our way to the land of the maple leaf."

Kevin looked at everyone who was questioning him, and he just took a deep breathe, before anwsering. "I am not a coded or with the military, okay? Didn't you hear Nicolas? He said I wasn't, and he held a gun to my head, I think I would have confessed to that. Now, stop questioning me about so many things. A guy can take only one thing, being chased by the miltary and coded doesn't help much, either." Came his vocie, his breathing get heavy, having said all that in one breath. He turned to the girl called Valentine. "Nice to meet you. As to being out here, I just wanted to go for a walk." he said, his eyes rolling, a sarcastic tone in his voice. "I'm heading to Canada, of course."

Zekiel cocked his head, pointing to himself. "Who, me?" Then he pointed to Kevin. "Or him?" Then he crossed his arms and nodded all-knowingly. "Definately him." He turned to Nicholas and shrugged. "Um, oops?" He joked good naturedly. "Any how, if I was unconcious, or dead, my boss would drag my soul back from Hades himself and make my ghost finish the mission or I'd never die in peace, mate."
Asmodeus rolled her eyes and came back, shouldering her bag. "I think everyone's ready. Let's go."

"Zekial, took you long enough!" She exageratted her voice jokingly, they were the ones who were late.
"Yeah well, Kevin was it? our trust is running thin. We almost all died just from a guy we trusted and the next day we had to leave on the split. And here we are a few weeks later, our bullet wounds healing and heading to the land of the free. Well its free for now."
Valentine pushed her a strand of hair behind her ear. She frowned and looked down at her leg. "s**t. One of my stiches tore!" Vallie groaned watched as her pants darkened alittle more with the fresh blood.

Cam grabbed the bag that she had earlier and opened it. "fresh water if needed, but, and i really dont know for sure, i think we're heading the same way the river flows so we'd be ok" she then looked at Nicolas and said "what do you want me to do with this cute little dead guy here?" she held up the dead rabitt and said "i could skin it now, or we could save it for later today, but it's up to you"

Kevin looked at the girl, and what she had said. "Then I feel sorry for that poor guy if he comes along again. bet you guys will kill him on the spot. I would." He said, looking at Valentine's pants, and he got down, to look at them. "Got any extras?" he said.

Zekiel grinned at Vallie. "Well, look who's talking here." He joked back and gave her a light noogie. He frowned as he saw the blood on her pants leg. "Ouch, that doesn't look too pretty..." He murmured. "I don't think you'll be able to walk with that..."

Nicolas chewed on his lip thinking and gazed around the forest. It seemed safe for now, but...
"Let's save him for later, it'll give us something to look forward too once we cross the boarder. Once we get Valentine's leg fixed up enough I think we should move out."
Nicolas retrieved his pack and slung the duffel bag over shoulder.

"Ah well!" Zekiel pushed himself off the tree he had been leaning on. "Fix her up as best as you can. We have better treatment on the other side, that's for sure. Let's get you guys to base as soon as possible, eh?" He picked her up. "I need everyone else to be alert and able to fight. Me? I'll take care of lil' miss leader here." He made a noise as she tried to interupt him. "Nope, I'm carrying you and that's that. If you put too much pressure on your leg, it'll bleed again. Then you'll die of bloodloss before we reach the border and then where'll this group be?"

cam quickly moved over to the bleeding Vallie and unwrappped the bandages. she fished out the sowing kit they had used for stitching and said "ill redo it" she pulled out some heavy thread and pulled it through the needle, she then dunked the needle in some clean water to sterilize it as much as possible, then said "here i go" she then sowed it up quickly and then bandaged it. "there, all better.... kinda"ill grab Vallie's bag andsaid "we should go and get Nikki, Wires and Winter" she picked the bags up and then asked te others. "where are we gonna put our food then?" she wondered out oud, asking about the dead rabbit in her hand. "dont want the blood getting everywhere" she mused

"Nah, but I'll be fine." She told Kevin.
"Zeek, I think I will be fine, i've walked this far havn't I! Anyways, this group would do fine without me. Look at 'em all ready to go." She smiled, then bit her lip as she felt Rave sow up her leg.
"I can carry my own stuff!" Valentine said with a sigh. She hated people waiting on her. Well really, she just felt embarrassed and useless.
