Umi felt a warm beam of sunlight hit his face, stretching he realized that it was almost noon, "crap, I must've fallen asleep." The sound of the door closing startled Umi, spinning around to see Vulcan enter quietly, "why didn't you wake me up?" "You looked tired, I didn't want to wake you," Vulcan replied. "You knew I had things to do." "Perhaps, but I think rest was more important," He shrugged, "besides, it's not like you have a set timelimit, you can go gallivanting around like a hero anytime you want." "That's not the point," replied Umi, stretching all his muscles out, "I had other errands to run too." "Oh yes, someone was mentioning that when I was downstairs." "And...?" "Well, you sure are popular around here," Vulcan joked, "been doing a lot of social work I hear. If I mentioned your name, I got discounts everywhere!" "(Sigh...) I don't want this community to end up like a ghetto, so someone has to keep this place safe," Umi added, "it's rough living in this city, you know that."
Vulcan put down a bag of groceries, pulling out raw meat and vegetables, "fine, I'll make you lunch, if it makes you feel better." "It might," Umi shrugged, "by the way, where did you go earlier?" "Just ran my letters, my aquaintences needed to know I was alive." "You can still run?!" "I'm not THAT old," Vulcan replied with a dejected look on his face, "by the way, go wake up Blakely, I'll make her lunch too. " Umi got up off the chair, still feeling uncomfortable from sleeping in such an awkward position. Brushing his hair out of his face, he knocked on the door to his room. "Hey, wake up! Were having lunch!"

Blakely heard banging on her door. “Go away.” She moaned, and rolled out of bed hitting the floor with a loud thud. “Oww.” She whined and got off the ground. Blakely typically had problems waking up in the morning. She walked to the mirror and brushed her bed head and fixed her clothes into a more decent position and trudged out of the room. Why had they woken her up? “Good morning.” Blakely yawned and walked to the kitchen and leaned against the counter to watch Vulcan cook. “What you cooking?” Blakely mumbled. She wasn’t quite awake yet. Blakely sat down on a stool and watched as he cooked. Lately she’d been eating fast food, so this was incredibly appetizing. Blakely looked over at Umi who look like he just woke up also. What time was it? Blakely looked around for a clock and saw that it was 12:30. “Whoa, I slept in.” she mumbled. Typically she woke up at dawn. But she was way to warm and comfortable in that warm bed to want to get up.

Vulcan turned his head to look at Blakely, "roasted lamb and veggies with my secret recipe, that is." Umi exited the bathroom, putting his shirt back on after a quick shower. "Vulcan is an amazing cook," Umi added, "raised me on his food since I was little. Honestly, I can't cook anything without it turning into a pile of coal, so this is very welcoming." "Ah yes, I remember the time you almost burned down my kitchen," Vulcan joked, laughing loudly as if he were remembering it visually, "Ray had to pull you out of there before your hair started on fire." "I don't want to remember that," Umi sighed, "my eyebrows were misshapen for a month." Umi ran his comb through his wet hair, trying to take all the tangles out, "how was the bed? Get a good night's rest?"

“Yumm, sounds good.” Blakely said and turned to Umi. “Seriously? Has Vulcan tried to teach you, if not I think ima have to teach you to cook.” Blakely offered. She had to learn to cook when she left her parents house. She became a pretty good cook to. “That would have been a funny sight.” Blakely laughed softly. She had never harmed her hair. If anyone tried she’d have to personally attack them. The worse she did with her eyebrows was when she over plucked them, which every girl has done at one time or another. “I slept better than I have in weeks.” Blakely said beaming. She wasn’t a very high maintenance girl, but a nice bed was like heaven. “I’m just happy I didn’t have to sleep on the streets.” Since Blakely was new, she didn’t know all the safe houses. She knew there were a few cheep hotels, but she didn’t like to waste her money. Blakely looked at the food again, it did look good. This guy knew how to cook.

Umi felt embarassed from Vulcan's last comment, "trust me, I've tried to learn but I've never been able to cook anything." Umi sat down at the table while Vulcan placed the dishes in front of them, giving a smirk of confidence from his culinary skills. Vulcan cleared up the kitchen and sat down next to Umi, "so where are you headed now?" Vulcan inquired, "did you consider what we discussed earlier this morning?" "Discussed?" "Yeah, we were talking about you." "Oh really? Care to share the topic?" "Nah, I'm going to let it annoy you for the rest of the day."

“Wow. Cooking is super important.” Blakely said looking at him. “Can you even boil water?” There was no way this guy was that bad. If so, how did he live? Blakely looked at the food as it was placed in front of her, it looked really good. She took a bite. “Yum.” She complemented him when she smiled. When was the last time she had food that wasn’t fast food? Blakely realized she had no clue where she was going next. “I honestly have no clue. I think I’ll stay in this city since they aren’t looking for me in this area yet. Just depends on my next job and when my Dad gets them looking for me.” Blakely realized she said a lot. What was wrong with this place? It made her talk too much. Then he made the comment about the thing about last night, early morning, what ever. “I don’t think I could ask for that. It’s too much to ask.” She said, realizing she was driving Umi crazy with curiosity. She had to smile at that.

Umi felt irked from Blakely's last comment, "I can do THAT much." Umi was still itching to know what they were talking about earlier, but he wasn't one to pry, but for some reason this was really killing him inside. "Well, whatever you decide is best," Vulcan replied, "you always welcome here. Why don't you settle here for a while?" "Hey, who's house do you th-" "Why not?" Vulcan interrupted, "she's new to the city and probably doesn't have a place to stay. Surely you can't let her sleep in the streets." "Whatever," Umi replied, feeling like he was just silenced, "I have things to do." Umi stood up and brought his dishes to the kitchen, grabbing his coat as he exited. "I'm heading out now." "Don't work too hard!" Vulcan shouted from the living room, waiting for the door to close, "see if you push him, he'll eventually give in."

Blakely looked at Umi as he nagged about what he could do. But he ended up storming out before she could really say anything. In the past few moments she ended up pissing off her host and finding a place to stay. ‘I think I should buy an apartment.’ But first she’d have to see if the city officials were going to go after her. “I’ll do the dishes.” Blakely said as she finished. She got up and instantly started sorting the dishes. “And I’ll cook tonight, it’s the least I can do.” Blakely offered as she started washing everything. Sure, there was a dishwasher, but things always turned out better when you washed them by hand. When she was finished she looked at Vulcan. “I kind of have some stuff to do. I’ll see you later. Thanks for everything.” She said and smiled at the old guy, she was growing fund of him. That was a big complement. Umi still freaked her out, but she was going to keep that to herself. She had trust issues, mostly with people her age. Blakely walked to the room and changed into the white jeans. She then strapped her two knives to her ankles and threw on her boots. She then pulled on a black v-neck and fixed her hair. Looking in the mirror she was pleased with her appearance, she almost looked like a typical citizen. Blakely also put her radio mike on the callor or her shirt and put the ear piece in. It was smart to always be ready for a job. Blakely then walked out of the apartment and walked around the city, trying to get a feel of the area she was. She needed to know all the cheep hotels, all the safe houses, and other things like that.

((Wow...Miss one day and so much happens >.< BTW, Welcome to the RP! Glad to have more traceurs now, many of them died/became inactive >.<)) The first rays of light hit Asuka while he was entering the main complex of the CPF. Taking a look back Asuka noted it was day before entering the building. Asuka had exited his home before sun break, being an early riser. The first thing he did was catch a taxi to the CPF headquarters. He had a few things he needed to do before going on his new assignment. Proceeding to the CPF Armory, Asuka returned his two Ingrams, neatly tucked into a package. The Ingrams were used by Asuka in his previous mission, though he felt they would be of little use in the coming one. Instead, he withdrew a Walther WA2000, a semi-automatic bull-pop sniper rifle. This would be more befitting on the mission. Asuka neatly tucked it into its carrying case, a 1 meter pitch black box. He next proceeded to the shooting range used by the CPF. There he chose an alley, and started practicing. Though every officer is trained to use almost all types of categories, these skills deteriorate without usage. Even though firing a gun, is similar to riding a bicycle (Something you never forget), small details, such as weight, position, and general comfort with the weapon, could make the all the difference in a mission. These small things will only come back with practice; Practice that Asuka won't have time for during the actual mission. So there Asuka was, eagerly waiting for Danika or Camela to give him the call. The signal for the start of the mission.

Umi walked the streets nearby his apartment, heading to his usual route through the city district. "No debt collectors today?" Umi joked, waving over to the small convenience store on the corner. "No, they're still probably still scared from the last time you were here!" "Ah, that's good," Umi smiled, nodding at nearby shop owners, "don't think it'll be the last though." "You'll just beat them up again anyway. By the way, who was that charming old man from earlier?" "Er... I guess you could say he's like my father," Umi awkwardly replied, "he took care of me when I was younger, after my parents..." "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to pry." "Anyway, he's that kind of guy," Umi chuckled, "he probably tried to investigate me all day yesterday." "He did ask a lot of questions..." "I'll bet," Umi added, "anyway, time flies I'll visit again tomorrow."
Umi remembered a pressing matter, he had to head northwest, something was lingering in his head that only Umi and his best friend knew. Umi had to make sure, he didn't want to been seen, so he planned to head there on street level -- then again, he rarely ever traveled via rooftop.

‘Hmm, where to go, where to go.’ Blakely thought as she looked around the area. She planned to go around the shops. But didn’t want to do that right away. She could check out the CPF officers. That was treading on water basically, but why not! Blakely walked around until she found a group and looked them over. They were fairly basic. They both had guns that they weren’t supposed to use ales necessary. They were fairly built, since they had to keep in shape. Nothing to extreme. They were just patrolling the streets. Then they noticed her. “What are you looking at Miss?” The officer called towards her. “Nothing sir, just checking y’all out.” Blakely said and winked. It typically worked for CPF. “Uhh…Well, go alone Miss, we’re busy at the moment. Maybe when we’re off duty.” The officer winked at her, she wanted to barf. “Well, if I would ever be so lucky.” She said and waved then headed off, back towards the apartment. “Sir, doesn’t she look familiar?” the other officer said. “Yea, she does.” The other officer noted. Blakely hurried up her pace. ‘He got the news here already! Daddy, I’m seriously going to kill you!’ Blakely thought bitterly. She turned a corner before they could realize who she was. Blakely arrived at a shopping center area and bought a newspaper, might as well read the newspaper. She also looked around the clothing store for good deals on clothing. Finally she starts walking back to the apartment after wasting some good time. Blakely then saw a food market on her way back and looked through the food. (( i feel like we need some action, but i'm having a mild writters block. Hmm, what to do? What to do? (: EDITEDDD))
