"She said her name wis Lydia," Rory answered. "I donnae want her t' be th' only one teachin' me, just tha' I think she wants t' help so you can visit wi' your parents some." He looked up at her as she stood, eyes roaming over her appreciatively. Damn, did she look good in a bikini. He got up and pulled her to him in a hug. "You know, um, I really donnae feel much like swimmin' tonight. Been a long day an' all. Where's tha' hot tub you were mentionin'?"

Was that what her reasons were? Why did Lee doubt Lydia was concerned with how much time she spent with her parents? Giving it little thought, though, she smiled and returned Rory's hug. Looking up at him with a mischievous twinkle in her eye, she grabbed his hand and started to drag him over to the hot tub, not a long walk considering it was built into the pool. The jets were already on, and she stepped inside slowly, taking her time getting used to the heat. "Have you ever been in one of these before?"

"Cannae say tha' I hae, nae," Rory said, sinking down next to her, eyes closing a bit in pleasure at the warmth. "Makes me kinda wish I'd brought out some protection, though, as this is technically not in th' house." He grinned at her.

No wonder her mother hated Rory... Putting a hand to her mouth as she giggled, her cheeks red from either the heat or embarrassment, Lee sat, scooting close to the boy. "We can arrange for that tomorrow, I guess." She decided not to mention the whole "15 minutes and then get out" rule, knowing they'd be breaking it later on anyway.

"Can still hae some fun in here," Rory chuckled, moving so she was snuggled against him. "O' course, I'm just simple enough tha' any time spent wi' you is fun."

Laughing a bit and shaking her head with amusement -- and slight flattery -- Lee looked up at the boy. "Wow, you are simple, huh? I could just sit here and you'd enjoy yourself?" And suddenly, she was worried again. Great. Resting her head back, she tried to think of one negative thing about the boy... but there was nothing. Nothing that she thought of as a bad thing, at least. Lee looked down at the water as she spoke. "How is it that you can be so perfect, and still want to marry me?" It didn't seem to make sense to her, how much he seemed to adore her. Rory was kind, patient, smart, talented, loyal, family-oriented, and worked hard to spoil her in every way. Not to mention, sexy as hell, even if he made her laugh about that fact at the same time. And what was she? Maybe a little pretty, but that was it. She was a bit on the demanding side, a bit selfish, spoiled, mean, neurotic. Surely some pretty blue eyes didn't make up for all of that.

"I ain't perfect," Rory said, shrugging. "Me hand are deformed. I work meself too hard at th' stables an' take too many risks wi' th' horses. I snore. I got nae fashion sense. I'm poor." He looked down at her. "Whae'er made you think I wis perfect? An' why wouldnae I marry you? You're smart an' funny an' beautiful an' I couldnae see life wi'out you. Besides, you're an outsider, you should be lookin' down on me, 'specially wi' your background, but you donnae do tha'. It means a lot t' me."

Lee shook her head, smiling with embarrassment as she held his hand. "Your hands come in handy a lot, at least for me. The risks you take with the horses, sure it worries me, but being a hard worker isn't a bad thing. I can sleep through your snoring, I can dress you if you look bad, and I can work for my own money." She sighed, pulling her knees up to her chest. "And you still manage to spoil me, even though I didn't do anything to deserve it." Still, the few things that he mentioned were nice, even if they weren't entirely true. She turned, letting her legs lay on top of Rory's lap, smiling back at him. If he loved her, she was happy. "I'm just lucky you met me after I grew up a little. Ugh, I was a brat when I was younger..." She laughed, embarrassed of herself. Hopefully Rory didn't think she was a brat still.

"I might've still loved you," Rory said softly. "I just donnae think you'd hae talked t' me back then." He moved so she was sitting in his lap, his arms around her. "Who's t' say you donnae deserve th' spoilin'?"

Lee gave him an apologetic smile, realizing that he was probably right. "Dunno if you'da talked to me, either." More out of fear than being a snob, though. Resting her head on his shoulder and every once in a while kissing his neck, Lee giggled at his question. "Me. And everyone else who's met me. Who's to say I do deserve it?" She probably already knew his answer, though...

"Me. An' your da, apparently," Rory laughed, tilting his head a bit to accept more kisses to his throat, making a happy growly noise. "I think you really did a lot fae me when I met you. You made me see tha' outsiders wasnae what I thought."

Lee nodded before resuming her kisses, pausing only for a moment to speak again. "Some are. Some are really terrible." Like Jeremy. "But there's a lot more that wouldn't care about where you come from. You should meet some of Faolan's outsider friends. I'm not exactly 'special' for not hating the didikai." She hoped that wasn't his main reason for liking her so much.

"I'll ask him sometime," Rory said, looking down at her. "I figure they cannae be all bad, though. Elle married him." He moved his hands up her back to tug at the strings of her bikini top, grinning playfully.

Lee didn't keep the boy's hands from working at her bikini, but did tilt her head up to give him a playful grin. "You'd better hope my dad doesn't come out to check on us..." And with that, she resumed kissing his neck once more, not entirely sure what the boy's plan was when he'd already told her they couldn't do anything now. Was she not naked enough for him already?

Rory untied her top, managing to get it off without her having to give up the attention to his neck, then tossed it over on the cement behind him. He pulled her into a hug, liking the feel of her bare skin against his, and rested his forehead in the crook of her neck.
