Tansy knocked the wing out her path with her sword, but forgot to think of her own wings. She winced she as felt it skim along the outer ridge, clipping two of her primary feathers. She gasped as she felt herself almost tip mid-air. She narrowed her eyes and concentrated as she landed, not to gently, away from the creature. Folding her wings in, to keep them from further damage, she raised her sword ready to fight, and then charged at the demon.

Tansy's demon makes a whooping noise that sounds somewhat reminiscent of laughter. It rears it's arm back toward the opposite shoulder and swings the bone at Tansy in a backhand swipe.
The creature takes the electric blast in the face full bore. The jolt goes straight through it's head. Force of the blast puts out the flames, leaving only the smoldering remains of what used to be a head. The thing tapes one step forward and falls to the ground in a lifeless heap. It explodes into countless pieces of black powder then dissipates, once again leaving Ako in darkness. 10 feet over the creature's remains, something resembling a metallic beetle shimmers to visability.
The blast that Ako threw did more than just kill his demon. That same blast unknowingly plowed it way through the muck creature that was threatening to smother Annie. The heap convulses as the electricity runs through it's boneless liquid mass. It bursts into flames and begins to dry, falling apart like an ignited log.

((Don't know my own strength. XD ))
Ako lowered his hand, surprised by how little effort that actually took. In a way, that scared him more then the creature had. That he could do more than just take a life, but utterly destroy something like that. He shuns away the feeling and starts looking for his glasses, shuffling his feet along the ground in wide arcs in front of him, until he feels the frames hit his shoe. He picks them up to find them bent. He tweaks them back into place and put them back on his face before running a hand through his hair, trying to calm down the last little bit.
It was then he noticed the thing seeming to float above the spot where the creature had fallen. "What's this? Another Illusion?" He asked the darkness, "Give up Charles, I think I've proven my power."

With quick reflexes, Tansy ducks under the demon's hand.. She spins somewhat so that she flanks the creature before she brings her sword in an upward motion, hoping to cut the demon in two. Her eyes narrow as she moves, thinking of nothing but ridding herself of this demon so that she may help the others. But from the corner of her eye, she see's Annie's blobs disperse and melt. A small smile pulls at her lips.

((I gotta keep her character involved. Not sure where MC2 is, but I'm looking out for Annie))
The metallic beetle skitters a bit and opens a few minute ports in it's back. A black cloud releases from the holes and obscures it once more. The air in Ako's area, which for a moment seemed to lightened, now regains that smothering feeling that is associated with Charles' power.
The demon watches as Tansy flanks to it's side. It barely manages to avoid losing it's torso, but in the process has it's right arm cut off. The force of the slash makes the lost appendage airborne. It flies off into the darkness as the beast falls to a knee, gripping it's bloodless stump. It looks at Tansy and grins, it's mandibles splitting. "Go ahead, finish it if you've got what it takes. I'll be the first of many to take to hell."

Tansy stood for a moment, her arms relaxed at her sides, the sword held tightly in her hand. She nodded in response to it's words. "May God have mercy on your soul." She said softly as she blessed the strange demon before quickly bringing her sword down, severing it's head from the rest of it's spine. She turned, refusing to look at it and turned to the others. "Can you hear me?" She called out into the darkness, hoping that the others would answer.

Ako remembered the robot's warning about the F-drones and realized that the beetle was no illusion; it was their source. He didn't feel like he had the energy for another shot to take it out, he needed to find that cannon before those drones made something he couldn't beat.
He ran to where he thought he'd dropped the cannon, and almost tripped over it. There was a dent in the can, but it still at least looked like it would work as he fit it onto his hand. He hoped it would still work as he started charging it.
He stopped as a voice broke his concentration. "Tansy? Where are you?"

[OOC Hello guys, after friday or saturday I wont be able to log on very much to check Gaia. And I won't be able to post much over winter break, because we're moving and it's going to take up alot of time. So im just warning, and ill reiterate, im not going to be on much during winter break. biggrin happy holidays! (This is the next two weeks)]
Garret saw a flash of light, and a silhouette. It seemed so far away, but he knew it was Ako, cause moments later he was sprawling on the ground for what he knew were his dropped glasses. The silhouette disappeared as the light faded. 'Good. I know which way to head after I destroy these monsgters.' He then saw the the monsters take a transformation of their own. They looked like the inside of a cave turned inside out, with all the spikes.
The tree-trunk arms were smashing towards him and he did a duck-and-roll under the monster, tearing through the monsters leg with his claws. He quickly stood and stabbed through its torso, finishing it off, before running towards the other one. The arm that got stabbed was of no use by now; he could barely move his fingers and it was streaming blood. Garret tucked it into his jacket sleeve like you would wrap a broken wing. He wouldn't let it stop him from squeezing the life out of charles himself. He tried hard to project his thoughts into the darkness so Charles could feel the malice just surrounding Garret like a cloud.

Tansy stopped when she heard a voice answer back. "I'm over here! Annie is with me." She called out as she walked up next to Annie, her sword still drawn and ready to fight at any time. "Have you found Gidget yet?"

"Well, yes and no." Ako answered. He didn't want to take his eyes off the the beetle-like thing, but he wanted to get over to Tansy. "I think I found the source of the drones. You might wanna come see. Hurry, though, I think it's releasing more."

Tansy gasped for air. With her adrenalin running low now that her life of death struggle was over, at least for the last few moments, she was starting to feel the true pain of the slash across her stomach. And she was losing blood quickly. She wasn't sure if she had the strength to even heal herself again. She squinted her eyes into the darkness. "Can't you... take care of it...?" She asked, her voice soft, her breaths becoming uneven. "I... I can't leave Annie right now, and... everything is starting... to spin." She took another deep gasp as the grip of the hilt of her sword loosened, and it slipped from her hands. Blood dripped down her legs and hag begun to make a pool at both of her feet. "Ako..... I don't feel... so great." She winced as she placed her arm along the wound and pressed inwards, hoping to keep some of the blood from slipping out.

While Charles had become livid at the recent turn of events, seeing Tansy in pain calms his nerves. He basks in the fact that even she has limits to her ability to rapidly heal. The mechanical worms had done their job, and now it was time to finish her.
Little red devils start climbing out of her pool of blood and start lapping it up. Counting in at about twelve, one of them turns to look at Tansy then start shreeking, "More, more of the angel's blood!" It doesn't take long for the others to join him in his maddening cry. They start trying to jump on Tansy, each one of them mad with hunger.

((sorry I was stranded in Appalachia without internet, thanks guys for looking out for me))
Annie snapped out of her trance, seeing the demons attack she grabbed the closest demon to her and around her she focused on the demon's bloods, she could feel their blood heating, and changing- the acid would burn their innards. "You little monsters leave Tansy alone!"
Pushing past the demons, she took Tansy's hand, she said, "Hold on, okay? We've got the worst of the fight over with now..."
She glanced around her and muttered, "I'm really getting annoyed by this coward hiding in the shadows... Where the Hell is Mr. Ray?"

The demons mewl and yelp as they begin to covulse and die, their eyes melting inside of their skulls. Charles curses audibly at Annie. If he weren't in an area that were soundproof it would've been a dead giveaway of his position. It's then that he gets a fantastic idea. He concentrates on conjuring up something that everyone has been afraid of at one point or another in their childhood if they had seen the film.
In the darkness around Tansy and Annie comes a sickening hiss. The sound of claws clicking on metal echoes in their location. Every now an again an elongated gleaming black head peeks into view. Of course it can only be surmised as the head because of the bared silver teeth. The creature has no eyes.

"Yeah, I'll get it." Ako said, a small smirk coming to his lips as he raised the cannon to aim it at the beetle. The cloud around it hit it from sight but Haro could feel the electricity from it, and could at least guess where the thing was. He charged up the cannon an fired a shot, wondering how Charles would react. He just wished he could see the man's face.
