She rubbed her head against his and she closed her eyes, listening to him.
"You shouldn't let your past...affect you." She said with a nod. "And it's alright that you snapped. I didn't know anyways so it's fine."
When he pulled backed away from rubbing his head against her neck, she wobbled on her paws for a moment and almost fell over. Her heart was pounding and she returned his smile. She turned away from him and brushed her tail against his nose before she moved away to begin digging in the snow.

Ivan nodded back and smiled at her understanding. He shook his head, about to object to her saying snapping was okay but immediately jumped to her side as she wobbled, chuckling as she caught herself. Grinning crookedly when her tail brushed his nose, Ivan trotted to her side to watch her dig.

When she had dug a small, yet reasonable hole, Raisa pushed the snow away with her nose
"Here, you can bury your past." She said innocently, looking back at her mate and smiling at him. She wagged her tail. "That way, you can get rid of it."
Raisa stretched and moved to stand beside Ivan. "I hope that helps."

Ivan gapped between the hole and Raisa, mystified. "Bury it?" He said quietly. He stared at the hole uncertainly, wondering if it could be that simple. He had tried to shove it away before... His eyes searched Raisa, standing beside him and smiling. He nodded. If anyone could help him put the past where it belonged, it was this beautiful lady. Ivan stepped up and stared into the ground, imagining the past falling out of his head and pooling into the hole below. Then he carefully filled the hole back in. Stepping back he slowly looked back up at Raisa and smiled, somehow feeling better. He trotted back, nuzzling her. "Only you Raisa." He whispered. "Thank you."

Raisa remained silent, watchful as she watched Ivan contemplating burying his past. Though, when he filled the hole and turned back to nuzzle her, she not only welcomed the heat she felt when they were close but welcomed her happiness that she was able to help out her mate in such a small way. She giggled and returned his affections with her own quick licks across his nose.
"You're welcome. I hope that helps a little." She said to him.

Ivan closed his eyes, allowing a moment of indulgence to feel the missing weight, however temporary it may turn out to be. Maybe perminant? "I think it helped." He nodded, resisting a look back at the filled hole. "I really do." He nipped lovingly at her ear, standing closer to enjoy her warmth.

shadow looks at them and starts to bark "get a room." stares at the old shed goes to look at it sniffs the air..... is scared for he smells the smell of fresh blood runs back scared out of his fur.

Raisa's giggling become more out of control as he nipped at her ear and stood closer to her. She allowed herself to sit down slowly on the cold snow and could feel that her wings were beginning to dry off. She gave them a faith flutter and then sighed contently. She had plain forgot, as well, that it was the first day of the new year. She was so in tuned with things around her she felt the slight change in time. She looked up at Ivan and wagged her tail. "Did you know, today is the first day of the new year?"

Ivan chuckled as Raisa's giggled increased. "The new year huh? Well then, happy new year my dear." He pulled back to nuzzle her nose. Suddenly he heard his name being called, his head searched around. "Garaden?" He said.
Garaden had gotten lucky, passing a window through which he could see Ivan and Raisa. He ran for the door. "Ivan!" He called, running up to them. "Ivan. There's a new quest about to happen with the knights. It sounds kinda big. You should be there." He panted. He looked at Raisa and smiled apologeticly. "Hi Raisa."

Raisa lifted her head away from Ivan's and watched as Garaden came running out. She listened and then smiled warmly at Garaden. "Hello Garaden and you should go back Ivan. You don't want to miss out. I'll join you guys there." She said with a nod.

Ivan smiled thankfully at Raisa, licking her nose. "I better see you there." He said sternly, though his eyes were loving and humerous. Nodding to Garaden, who gave Raisa another shy smile, they wasted no time in running back to the sitting room.

Raisa watched Ivan and Garaden race off to return to the sitting room and she sighed. She would join them in a few minutes anyways because she was starting to get cold. Stretching and flapping her wet and exhausted wings, Raisa tilted her head and started off towards the house after her mate and his friend. She paused though when she heard the sound of the back door opening up.
"Hm? What are you doing out here?" Raisa asked, staring at the newcomer. When he didn't answer her, she pressed her ears against her head and began to slowly back away. She knew the scent very well but she wasn't entirely sure why he was dressed in black and was walking towards her so quickly. At once, her butterfly instincts were kicking in and she turned to bolt towards the front of the house. Slipping on the snow, she let out a yelp as her pursuer had caught up to her; he was known for being pretty quick himself and grabbed her tail. She whirled around to growl at him and felt herself being lifted up into the air into the arms of her attacker.
"Let me down!" She barked, struggling wildly as she was carried off the opposite direction Ivan and Garaden had gone.

Nimue paused at the back door and looked at the snow with distaste.
"I'd rather wait here. Just out in the backyard, there's a shed. You'll be able to see -" She shivered as she heard a howl. "I'll be waiting for you return knights."
Kai jumped out into the snow and spun around like a little puppy. He obviously wasn't taking this seriously but then again, he rarely took anything in life seriously. He picked up some snow and waited for Rudolf to come out as he was going to peg his friend with the snow.
Atreyu walked out past Nimue and sat down in the snow, waiting for the other knights to join. He could hear distant barks and he knew that Nimue had predicted correctly. He noticed Kai playing around and he barked at the pink male.
"Will you stop that!" He dug his paw into the snow and swiped it at Kai.
Meowing shrilling in a tree near a shed, three young kittens clung to the branches with their tiny claws as the nameless wolf (eh, it'll be easier if it's just a random wolf I guess) rose on his hind legs and began to shake the tree frantically. The kittens hissed but their hisses were drowned out by the wolf's growl.

Rudolf walked out into the cold air. He jumped into the snow not noticing Kai with the snow. He thought he heard some meowing. "Hear I meowing?" He asked. He tilted his head so he could try and listen.

Naito walked out behind them. He perked his ears up as he listened to the meowing. "I think I hear a meowing noise too, but who are those wolves?"
