"I wasn't sayin' that," the man snapped angrily. He paused again, spaced out, and then turned back to them. "Although, hey, yeah, you're right, they kinda do, don't they? 'Hey, Greer, do this, hey Greer, do that.' Kinda funny for voices in the head, huh? Hey, hey, let me guess, you're here to talk me down!" he said, suddenly giggling, a far cry from the man who had just been angry.
Interestingly, as his personality changed, the colors surged. Where formerly red had been dominant, yellow suddenly replaced it.

"Yes, we are." Adela chose to go with honesty. "But you know, I'm also a bit curious. What are those voices telling you to do?" If they'd been telling him to kill people, then talking wasn't going to help very much. Any tactic the Eves planned on using to calm Greer down depended on the "voices" motivation.

He paused. "Well, 's nothin' useful. They actually say different things," he added helpfully. "Like, one of 'em told me 'These people are here to talk you down, you had best do what they ask you.' And then the other said 'Forget them, let's see what we can light on fire.' That might've been me. Anyway, I lit the carpet on fire. That was actually a while ago," he added, staring at a blackened portion of the carpet. "It's wet. Doesn't burn so well." He paused, and the colors shifted again, back toward red.
"So I guess I'm supposed to be gettin' down, huh? I haven't hurt anybody, so y'know..."

Adela nodded along without taking her eyes off of him. "And we're really glad you haven't hurt anyone. It'd be nice if you came down here too." She looked over at the blackened carpet. Voices told him to burn stuff. Greaaaaat. "I'm guessing you've got a fire Sigil. Am I right?"

"Oh, like me?" he suggested. "Yeah, that could happen. Say, you guys seen my Zippo? Think I dropped it... oh yeah," he added, bending down to a blackened portion of the carpet and picking up his lighter. "Heh. So that's how that caught on fire. Right."
His attitude changed.
"But... but see, it's nice up here. I can see everything. The sea is very pretty. It's warm out."
He reached into his pocket, as though checking that something were still there; that confirmed, he relaxed. "Still got it," he muttered. "Gotta keep it. Thieves can't have it."

"Eh, c'mon up," the man grumbled. He paused, giving Saieve a nasty look. "You're not one o' the thieves, are you? You look like the rest of 'em."
He fingered the object in his pocket, and as he did so what was almost a bolt of aura jumped from whatever it was up his arm and to his heart. The colors around him shifted, but subtly - he didn't seem to change personalities.
Two masked, balaclava'd heads, each proceeded by a submachine gun, poked their heads around the corners from the far side of the bridge, then ducked back away. Apparently they were still checking in on the Eve's progress.

"I just want to see, if that's okay."
