I might side with ty on this one...I hate taking pain killers, they're stupid >> Also, I don't like swallowing pills, and I'm too old to take the kids' chewables.

You know... I think the first time I had swallowed a pill was when I was like 16 I think...? I was so freaked out to do it and I would always choke over it. But after my step mother MADE me take vitamins everyday I was able to over come my fear so now taking medicine is easy for me. And I'm really glad that I can take it because I get head aches a lot. ><;; Especially at my job, the constant beeps from the registers and the annoying crying kids are enough to make my poor head split! D:

If you rely too heavily on pain killers though then when you need them they might not work anymore due to your body growing an immunity to it~!

xD Yeah, I don't feel that I ever really NEED pain killers. Most of the time my headaches aren't that bad, I just put a pillow over my face and take a nap and I'm fine.
Also, the first time I can remember swallowing a pill was just about six months ago, and it was actually not that bad. It only took my two tries, but the after taste was HORRIBLE, and it felt like I had a pill stuck in the back of my throat, and it wasn't nice. D:

Well I can't take a pillow in the middle of my work and tell people that I'm going to take a nap because I have a killer head ache. xD;;; It'd be nice but I really don't think they'd pay me to sleep on the job. xd *wishful thinking*
Yeah the first time is always the hardest. I struggled so much too, and I also think I probably cried about it. I think my step mother was like threatening me or something if I didn't take them, I don't remember. xD;;;;;;;

lol, my mom was all angry cuz I wouldn't take one, and she was like "I have no sympathy for you if you won't take an aspirin." And my sister was like "Just do it, c'mon, it's not that bad, I've done it, it's fine" and I did and she was like "Dude, it took me like six tries and half an hour and you just swallowed those things in two tries and twelve seconds." xD

My poor dad, he has to take pills every morning, afternoon and night, and that must suck. Of course, he's probably pretty used to it by now...

My step mother had the same problem, she had to take pills every morning though. xD; She showed me what she took and it was like a handful of various colorful pills. xD;;;
I honestly don't care. It's not a big deal for me anymore, it was at one point but I've gotten over it since then. So if you need it you need it, it's not like they're going to have a liquid or chewable tablet for every medicine you have to take.. At one point or another if you can't swallow a pill you're kind of screwed. xD;
