By the time he returned all he found was her grave, in the heart of the forest. On that day, the sadness of the man's heart plunged the forest into eternal night. Or so goes the story as I heard it." Brannon led Dasha upon the path, and eventually came to the outskirts of the forest, and the view of the Mainlands.

Sakura had wandered through the forest for what felt like ages. What was goimg on with the world around him? What had happened? His thought were only memories of times he spent with his old master.
Why, he thought, why was I destined to be here?
Surely, if there was a divine being, it hated him, for some unkown reason. Memories...
The word burned into his skull, having lost his original memories, he had no history.
What was I?... What am I?

Bandit staggered, falling to his knees as he couched violently. blood spattered his hand, but he didnt see.. he saw nothing but the forest and his family danceing through the trees.. then everything went black, and the warrior fell in a heap where his enemy had droped him. the vampires body lay only a few feet away, slowly turning to ash around the glowing sword that had severed its head. both were still, only the wind in the trees disturbing the battle ground the wolf and the vampire had created.

Kago found him like this, kneeling down to look at the warrior as she felt for a pulse. she had been hunting this vampire... for days it had always been on the run, now she knew why. this wolf had been after him as well.. pulling her cloak from her shoulders she draped it over his still form. she collected his sword and put it in its sheath, then pulled his arm over her shoulders and helped him to a sheltering cave. It was days before the fever broke, and after two weeks she fell into a system.. she cleaned his sword, found food, dressed his wounds, then fell asleep to repeat the process the next day. Tired she didnt bother to put the fire out, simply curling up next to the warrior as she fell alseep. after so long caring for him she found no threat with him now.

Something warm was resting against him.. soothed he wraped his arm around it, his body sluggish as he tried to wake up fully. for some reason this wasnt right.. but he couldnt remember why. whatever his brain was trying to tell him was lost as the 'something' shifted in his hold, and he opened his eyes enough to see white hair and a delicatly curved jaw. his last thought as he drifted back to sleep was a puzzled sigh.. a woman..?

When she woke the next morning she nearly sighed herself, her body fit snuggly against his as his arm held her to him. pushing the odd feeling aside she lifted his arm away, standing and gathering her things. who ever he was.. he would survive on his own now. two nights back she had caught wind of Zoey's return.. and she couldnt risk this warrior being dragged into her battle. puting his weapons next to him on the pallet she dimmed the fire slightly, makeing it safe for him to care for himself as she slid her bow onto her shoulder. All she left was her cloak for his blanket, and a small flower she had picked outside the cave that morning.

When at last he awoke he realized something had changed.. sitting up slowly and wincing at the fire's light as he scanned the chamber. he understood now what was happening.. she must have found him and brought him here.. but where was she? licking his dry lips he whistled once, pauseing to listen before shaking his head sadly. she smelled of bon-fires and earth.. but that scent wasnt here anymore, atleast not a fresh hint of it. whoever she was.. she had been gone a few hours. Bandit spent nearly another week in the cave before he regained his strength and was able to journey out into the forest. the woman, his woman as he had come to think of her, had left plenty of dried meat.. but he needed fresh air and something to distract himself. by the weeks end he was packed and heading off, determind to find who had helped him.

Ilasis walked through the forest, her hand holding onto James' while she gently pulled him along as they walked. "This place is always amazing to me, it never really becomes day here, just always is night here." She looked at James and then stopped, pulling him close and kissing him softly.

Alhena walked through the forest, touching every little thing she could to understand the feel of it. She walked up to a small lake and sat at the edge, dipping her bare feet in the water and smiling, closing her eyes. Her hands going up to her black hair to let it out of its bun. The black waves fell over her small frame, covering her mostly from the world.

"Watch out," Thalia chimed, her cloak smacking Alhena in the face comically. Giggling, Thalia dived into the water, completely submerging herself. She didn't surface immediately, instead swimming deeper until she touched the sandy bottom.

a yelping sound came from her left, a blast of shadow magic fallowing the sound. just down the shore from her Erik let out a pained cough, his magic irratic as it shot this way and that.. a tree to his right bursting into black flames as a bolt of energy hit it. He had no training in this.. and every time he passed a magic ward his own magic became wild. when at last the fit had calmed Erik relaxed, falling to the forest floor in a fevered state as Kara lay next to him.. making keening sounds and nuzzling his cheek worriedly. Korin sat at his side, trying to sooth his masters pain.

Alhena laughed when Thalia jumped into the water and got splashed really bad. She waited for the girl to come up and while she waited she saw the shadow magic going on. She looked at the water then at where the magic came from. She got up and axidently left her sword as she ran up to Erik.
She got down on her knees and looked Erik over gently, checking for a fever and looked at the two shadow beasts. She got up and got him some water, bringing it back in a ripped piece of fabric from her dress. She gently poured it in his mouth and then put the wet fabric on his forehead.

Coughing he managed to drink it down, hardly having enough strength to do even that. he didnt try to open his eyes, trusting Kara and Korin to protect him should there be need. Growling quietly Korin had positioned himself near the girl.. Kara licking her hand as if to reassure her that Korin wouldnt attack. the two both watched Alhena with avid intent, but didnt halt her from helping their master. after a few moments Korin stood, listening to Thalia playing as if unused to the sound.

Alhena looked to the side and let her rest on the floor, growing some herbs to make Erik feel better. She made it into a paste and went to get more water, mixing it in the water and making him drink that. She put his head in her lap and rubbed his face to make him more calm. "Come on Erik, get better. You are important to my father." She knew the boy, he worked for Tane often.

Resurfacing, Thalia climbed and perched herself upon a large rock that stood like an island at the river's center. Wrapped securely in her soaked dress was a large variety of shells.
"Korin, will Erik be alright?" She asked.
Thalia could understand anything; animals, plants, water...she'd never tried with a shadow creature before. It'd be delightful if she could. Tilting her head cutely, Thalia waved and beckoned for either shadow creature to join her.
"I'll swim closer if you can't reach me."
