"So, anyway...le gasp!" Edward's train of thought hurled itself off it's tracks and into the abyss below. "Are those...DONUTS?" He approached the bag, peered inside, and saw the fresh pastries. "They are! And because I've finally found donuts, I'll even let other people have one each! Kam's got one, Korsu got two...so that leaves four more I'll have to let go." He peered into the bag. "Actually, they can just have these bagels. And I'll leave one donut which they can fight to the death for. The rest of these..." He held the bag up Lion King style, "Are mine!"

"Tch." Korsu said, already done with his breakfast. He moved to where Gem was at and stood, looking around. I got a baad feelin' about this.. he thought to himself, his eye's narrowing as he loosened his sword in it's sheath.
((Yeah he is. All of the mercenaries are back but Ferran.))

It was after Maaya's second question where she spotted what she was looking for. She saw three of the mercenaries, and Gem in a room. Are they eating...donuts? She thought curiously. She sighed. Never mind that, Ayame focus... She looked back at Maaya, and instead of telling her than she had found her, she raised two fingers and bent them towards her, indicating for her to come look.
One boy caught her eye. It happened to be Korsu. He seemed to know something was up, she could tell by his facial expression.

Mark lay down on his bed, he took his sword and held it for a while. Mark thought of the times when his father practicedwith him. This was his father's sword. Mark put it down, he dug into his backpack and found a small pouch, it was filled with powder that if set on fire they would make it bigger, he kept it with him if he wanted to make a fire sometime.

Sakura followed Fox's lead. Looking around for Gem, she turned her head back and forth, switching her focus.
Replying to Wolf's question, she answered " I think she's asleep. Or still back at the base. Wish she was here. I'd feel more secure if she was. "
Looking for Gem was crucial in the mission so Sakura kept concentrated. Unsure of where to find her, she began to get tired. She hadn't slept for about a day and she hadn't necessarily eaten either. Trying to fight it back, she hit her stomach. It didn't really help but it took away the urge to sleep and filled it with pain.
Sakura then noticed Fox was holding up her fingers. Holding her stomach and peering in, she spotted Gem. A wave of relief came over her and she relaxed. Checking again, she noticed Korsu. He seemed a bit suspicious. Not a very natural look when you're eating...DONUTS?!? Sakura hoped she wasn't as hungry as she thought she was...

Maaya had an angry expression and didn't hide it from Ayame. She quickly pointed to Gem, made a donut sign with her hands, and lastly pointed at her angry look. She whispered, "Gem's not being tortured at all. She's having breakfast!"
Maaya toned down her voice so the mercenaries couldn't hear her. "What if she's conspiring against us with the enemy?" Maaya loved Gem as an older sister; she loved all of her teammates! This was totally unexpected, though. Has Ruby really gone to the dark side in a matter of hours?

"Ummm... Korsu? Is something the matter? Why do you guys all carry around swords? Please be careful with that." She watched him and tilted her head slightly. "Is something going on?" Her eyes went to the window and she saw a flick of purple hair... Her heart sank. Why did they have to do stuff like this?! She was perfectly happy and fine here! They where going to drag her back in... make her get right back into the life of crime when she had just found her only out. Her face reddened and she closed her eyes breathing lighter then she had before.

"Hm. Y'know, the ninja girls are right outside our window." Edward swallowed, then turned to the window. "C'mon in, girls! I'll share the donuts with lovely ladies such as you if you're hungry!" He gave a 'come-in' motion with his hand and gave a friendly smile.

"And That would be the reason." Korsu said as he moved over to stand infront of Gem's bed. No one would be able to take her from it unless they went through him first. He stared at the window, his hand on his sword ready to draw it if he needed to.

Ayame looked at Maaya. What if she was right? No, she couldn't be. Gem wouldn't. She heard Edward, and, even though she knew she had been spotted, she opened the window and climbed through. "Hmm. Someone has good observation skills." She said to Edward.

Gem looked at the girl with a deadly glare and mouthed the words. "Go Away Right Now..." She made a hand gesture that meant leave in their code and laid back down flat to close her eyes sitting up hurt more than it was worth still. "Ninjas? What the hell?" She asked trying to sound surprised like she hadn't been expecting it. "Is that why you guys carry swords? Your ninja fighters? Damn..." She shook her head looking baffled.

Having been noticed, Sakura slid out the window after Ayame. Once she was inside, she noticed that Gem looked unwilling to come with them. No...please not this! No! Gem...please! she thought and began to worry. If Gem didn't come with them, she didn't know how she could EVER live life normally. She was like a sister to her. To the group. The thought was pushed aside like the rest of them.
Reaching for the doughnuts, she took out a vanilla dip and began munching on it. She wasn't worried about her safety at the moment. Technically they were invited by Edward. Trying to be polite she said " Sorry. I was hungry. Thanks. " Sakura smiled as she ate the doughnut. It was really good. Not paying any attention to Korsu who was ready to fight, she continued munching on it. Then hearing Gem say those words sank her heart. There were to Ayame but it still hurt. A single tear was let go but she quickly wiped it away.

Ayame caught Gem's look and shook her head. "Ninja fighters? Way off girl." She said, pretending like she was some girl she didn't know. "They're mercenaries sent after me and my gang. And we're not ninjas, morons." She told them. She noticed Gem was injured. "What? You guys injure and capture innocent girl's too? Tch. Thought you had honor."
She glanced at Sakura, as if telling her:'Stay focused and keep it together'

Maaya mouthed to Ayame and Sakura. "Pretend like we don't know her! Pretend we think she's just an innocent." Maaya jumped sideways to enter the building. "Hmph, capturing innocents now? Are you training her to be one of you?" Maaya had a menacing glare at Edward; he was the one who caught them, after all. "How pathetic." Maaya flipped her ponytail in disgust.
