Once my profile was up, I was good to go.

I think it'll be interesting trying to be a professional soldier while also being a more relaxed commander. Not to mention, I plan on having most or all of what's left of my character's platoon to take advantage of the teasing they got before in an attempt to boost morale.

I mean, wouldn't seeing a number of women in bikini-styled stormie armor marching around here and there and sometimes entertaining people raise people's spirits a bit? I'd think it would, and after the Hell everyone just went through with the mutiny, morale's gotta be pretty low at the time.

Well, that all depends. A good chunk of the crew is female, and then there's the non-human males. The former (the majority, anyway) probably won't be too appealed to it. Some alien males may find it attractive, however there are still species that don't find humans very alluring.

Well it's not like they'd go as far as being total whores, and definitely not when on duty. They're trained soldiers afterall. Just that they'd be willing to take part in the more lax activities. The bikini armors would be their de-Imperialized way to show their positions aboard the ship, because only they would have 'em. Other than simply looking sexy, they'd still be stormtroopers in every sense, besides the whole defection thing.

When not on active duty like maintaining stuff, patrolling the halls, etc. they'd be helping to boost morale by doing entertainment stuff like dancing for the crew in the galley, etc. in the same manner hired entertainment would. However, the instant something goes down, they all go active duty and wait for orders, etc.

That reminds me though, I forgot to ask earlier. Would the stormies have policing duties at all in the same manner of trying to find any spies, etc. or is that exclusively security personnel's job? If nothing else, I'd imagine they'd be the equivalent to a SWAT team on standby in case security personnel encounter something a bit too much for 'em to handle. Otherwise, I'll probably just have Diana walking around a patrol and reading datapads, keeping up with the current status of everything concerning them.

Battalions have trained security sections, but a platoon isn't trained for security work besides normal patrols... Besides In chapter 2 your platoon is being reassigned to the Assault Shuttle for retraining as Zero-G combat and boarding operations. I'd suggest wearing the full armor for that as the seals of a full set of armor will save your life if forced to bail. Course you can wear what you want off duty, and as an zero-g trooper, you'll spend a lot of time at stand by and much less time actually working with that post.

Stormtroopers sort of act as police, in that they patrol around looking for trouble to break up. Actual investigations are normally handled by a security section of a larger unit like a battalion.
