Kei Aoi Fourth Division, Fourth Seat
Kei looked at the man's reaction and was immediately astounded. A man that could not feel pain, in front of him. He looked again at the wounds and poured some alcohol over it; no reaction came at all. What was this man had that made it invulnerable to pain? Or at least, to small jolts of pain from alcohols and slashes? He took a sigh and then smiled at Herieo. Of course, Kei was frightened by the thought of a man not being able to feel pain; it made someone less... human. Just by thinking being not able to feel pain made Kei sad. He didn't know why but it was a human signature that a person could feel pain, something that was not existent to stones and water. But did that make Herieo less human too? Did that make him more similar to stone than human? No...
"What does it feel, Herieo-sama?" Kei asked softly as he began to do some stitching in his open wounds. "Not being able to feel pain on some moments?" The question was extremely tactless and Herieo could shout at him because of this but Kei didn't mind much; he wanted to know. He was curious. He felt sad for him. He felt...

Herieo's ear perked at the question, forcing him to turn and smile at the man. Carelessly, he began to speak; "Oh, what..? Nahh, it's only temporary. See, my spirit friend Hero has this weird effect that makes me stronger and more active. He says that increase combined with my stupidity makes it so that I don't feel pain unless it's gonna kill me~.. As you can see, I avoided a buncha fatal wounds. It's the little ones (referring to the entirety of the singed arm) that added up and made this little show." The boy answered in a normal tone, turning to face the one healing him. He noticed his expression, and it seemed something was wrong? "A-Aye.. Um.. What's-yer-face.. I-I'm gonna be fine. No need to get all sad cuz' I'm hurt.. Heheh.." Not knowing how to react accordingly, the boy simply joked around. He really was confused about the random question. The boy, in reality, just wasn't that bright. Despite his slightly above average position, the child was simply.. a child. Further inspection of the clipboard from before would probably reveal that he was only sixteen and was in fact a human. He'd chosen to scribble that in a small corner of the sheet, seeing as though normal Shinigami gawked funnily at him after it became apparent.

Kei Aoi Fourth Division, Fourth Seat
Kei immediately turned to scarlet red when Herieo noticed his expression. He bowed down his head at once to hide his face from his patient and then continued stitching the wound as fast as he could. Was it all exposed to his face all those times? Just by thinking of the thoughts made Kei blush furiously and that didn't happen commonly. "I-I'm Kei Aoi, Fourth Seat of the Fourth Division." He blurted out, still evading a look at Herieo. "I was not sad, Herieo-sama." A total lie. "I was just concerned at your health because not feeling pain was something recognized unsual in medical science." Okay, that was not a lie but it did not make any relevance at the scene much than to save Kei's a** from his notice. Once again, he turned scarlet red without him knowing and he continued his task again without saying anything since he knew it wouldn't end too good to himself.

"Well, medical terms don't really work for us do they...? I mean, just the other day some hollow was bum rushing me into a five story building. As you can see, I'm alive and said hollow is dead.. But that's not the point! We're durable! Our bodies are made of, like, spirit stuff... The stronger you are, the more durable! Heheh!" Herieo seemed to be ignoring the boy's reddish face, instead smiling and putting it off as nothing. He wasn't one for revealing moments of weakness on new friends. "I bet somebody could toss you threw a few stone pillars'en you'd get up all nilly willy, askin' for more!" Herieo might have sounded like he was joking then but his perception was way off; he was one of those battle-ready Shinigami who acted like a barbarian when things got too worked up.. It was just kinda how he got the job's description from the start! It was in his opinion that every shinigami aimlessly slashed at hollows with giant weapons and shot dead lazers like he did back on Earth. ".. Unless of course this really is a medical facility~.. If your a Priest, instead'a a Tank or Warrior then that's fine too. You can cast buffs!" A little off course now in his speech, the boy began turning to fully face Kei. He didn't really believe it was necessary to mention his name, since it was on the papers anyway.

Kei Aoi Fourth Division, Fourth Seat
As Herieo finished by looking at Kei (who blushed again), he finished stitching his arm and then shifted from the other side of the bed to continue his work. This time, he began cleaning his left shoulder immediately for it had a huge wound and so was his entire left arm. What a brutal thing to do, he thought to himself. But of course, like Herieo said, they were durable. After all, these people besides the Fourth Division was designed for combat. Kei made a soft smile as he began cleaning his wounds.
"You're really talkative, Herieo-sama." Kei said gently as he began to work on his bruises and wounds. It was a really nasty part but Kei didn't seem to mind but he did mind if someone from their division lend him a hand; it was tiring all by himself. "Don't mistake us for some battle-ready Shinigami, Hereio-sama. After all, we were designed to save lives by healing their wounds; we may be able to fend off for ourselves but majority of us cannot, like me. I never really liked fighting." Kei added with a slightly lower tone so that his voice might not disturb the other patients. Then, he smiled warmly at Herieo.

"Ya' know, in the beginning I avoided fighting at all cost.. I guess you could say a few months ago I was a pacifist whose fist were for protecting. I was bullied because of my personality, and I took it with no problem.. Becoming a shinigami that one night just kinda helped change my view on how things went. Fighting will always be a part of the world, no matter what case.. Why not spend all your time doin' it for the good causes! Working towards a situation with just a little less conflict.." Comedically now, Herieo was standing and looking away. Behind him, imaginary "Justice Flags" were flowing within the nonexistent breeze. As before, his wounds and scarred disposition ceased to hinder any normal action.. Especially since he was slightly fixed. He only snapped out of this after remembering what Kei said first. "W-Wait.. You talked to me first!" Herieo began chuckling, turning now to face Kei and point accusingly. His facial expression was also quite accusing, his left hand index finger being raised to point into the boy's face. "It's your fault!" He wasn't being serious, and instead decided to joke even further. "Whatever, whatever.. I probably am talking too much anyway~.. I should be focusing my attention on getting better, and hittin' on that girl over there!" Yet again, a comedic streak became apparent within the boy as his eyes sparkled brightly. The light blue orbs glinted madly as he mentioned the girl from before he'd seen; it was true in fact that he was still just some horny teenager.

Maikeru sat up in his bed and threw what he guessed was some kind of pill at the back of Kei's neck. Maikeru tilted his head towards the door and glanced at the clock as if asking, "When the heck can I get out of here?"

Kei Aoi Fourth Division, Fourth Seat
Kei was nearly done patching up Herieo when he felt something hit his neck. He instantly snapped a look at Maikeru, feeling that there's no one there would ever dare do that at his place aside from Herieo (since he also show the same attitude albeit hundreds times more chaotic and talkative). He gave his present patient an apologetic look and then dashed at Maikeru, examining his injuries. He didn't even spare him a word as he checked the latter patient. Okay, good, the physical structure is now fine except for a few reiatsu. "Maikeru-sama, your situation is now the same as Reikai. You may leave as you want to but please rest as much as you can because your reiatsu is not yet replenished." Kei said and then gave him a reluctant smile. Goodness! He checked Nexo afterward, only to find the same situation. "You're also free to go, Nexo-sama. Thank you for availing our services. Be sure to rest for a while, okay?"
Then, he went back to Herieo and knew that he finished up stitching all his wounds. It was about time he began the healing process of the reiatsu. It was his first time doing this but he thought it was about time he did it. He placed his hands above Herieo's body and then closed his eyes. "I talk to you first, Herieo-sama, indeed. But you had a lot in your mind than I anticipated; that's why I called you talkative." He said and then smiled, yet his eyes were still closed. Suddenly, Kei gave off a soft sigh and there was a short burst of reiatsu from his hands. All of the sudden, a bright circular energy formed around Herieo and enclosed him inside. Slowly, the energy around Herieo was at the process of replenishing his lost reiatsu and at the same time adding the finishing touches on his physical injuries. "Please do not move too much, Herieo-sama. It's more difficult to finish you up with you moving around."

Maikeru smiled and shrugged his clothing back in place. Nodding at everyone present he waltzed out of the room. Not just walked out, no, he literally waltzed, eyes closed, arms held out as if holding his lady love as he turned in circles, making his way to the door. When he reached the threshold he stopped and bowed his way out before making his way back to the squad...all without saying a word, per Kei's instructions.

Reikai nodded and smiled at Kasen. "I think so..." She blinked as the other shinigami came in and winked at her even with his current state. Holding back the light tint of pink of her cheeks, she turned away quickly, scowling slightly. "I'm still here, jeez." She turned to glare at the other shinigami. "And I'm not deaf either." As Maikeru left, she turned as well. "I should go as well, and make sure Maikeru stays out of trouble." She bowed to Kasen and Kei, ignoring the 2nd Squad vice captain as she followed Maikeru.

From within the bubble of reiastu, Herieo stood flailing his arms crazily about, despite there wounds having just been completely sealed. His mouth was open and wide as if he were screaming, his head facing the ceiling as if he were Charlie Brown crying in one'a his dumbass Christmas specials over some unimportant and boring subject that noone but his dog cares about. And face it, even then, Snoopy was too ******** cool to care. "NOOOOEEEE! SHE LEFT! AND I'M STUCK IN A MAGIC HEALING POD BUBBLE!" The boy's mouth moved, but nothing came out as he continued flailing and staring up towards that same damn ceiling. What the hell was with this kid?! Herieo could probably say what he was thinking aloud but he didn't wanna risk the comedic chance to be stuck within a clear bubble made of spiritual energy; really now, how often does one get a chance for such a thing?! "I WONDER IF THIS IS AS FUNNY AS I'M TRYING TO MAKE'ET LOOK!" He went on lip syncing words, but eventually couldn't contain himself and laughed, falling down to his butt and staring up at a most likely confused Kei. "Didja' like my performance..? Could you read my lips, and see my flailing..?!" His disposition had taken a turn for what would appear to be the better, now that he was done making a fool of himself. "Enh, whatever.. You done yet..?! My friends are probably worried sick cause I'm not there to do crazy stunts and break stuff with my fist." Herieo had asked his question without actually taking a look at his slowly dissipating scars, never once looking down to notice that his wounds were not only stitched, but recovering in overdrive! He'd also managed to ignore the fact that his spiritual pressure had returned, and Fiery had deactivated itself once he was safely at a moment where he could stand on his own. This increase in supply was mainly what brought the child up into such an over driven, hyperactive state. It was all Kei's fault~

Kei Aoi Fourth Division, Fourth Seat
Kei made a frustrated sigh and he closed his eyes. At that instant, a short snapping sound occurred and then the healing Kido bubbled disappeared into thin air. Kei's arms immediately drooped and then he slouched before making another sigh. He slowly stood up and wobbled into his desk once more to write the clearance for Herieo's healing.
"You are now finished for the... healing... Herieo-sama." Kei gave the comment with his eyes noticeably puffy. He shook his head to wear off the exhaustion. The Kido wore him out considering it was his first time. However, seeing the successful effect of his Kido, Kei felt happy and contented.

Kei Aoi Fourth Division, Fourth Seat
It was only a moment after his ordeal with Herieo when Kei received another patient. Somehow, he wasn't too surprised when he saw Kasen walking down the hall with a new patient named Kyo. Kei frowned slightly and immediately led Kyo to one of the cots of the healing room. He immediately read the application and found out that he had some concussion, colds and some electricity current still lingering in his system; no wonder he was a bit tingly.
Kei turned to Kasen and then smiled at him. "Thank you, Kasen-sama." He said briefly and then turned to Kyo. Once again, Kei put his hands over Kyo's chest and then a glowing circular Kido appeared around his patient and began to heal his wounds. However, the Kido kept fluctuating now and then because of Kei's reiatsu depleting quickly. Kei gave off a sigh and was obviously exhausted.

"No problem Kei-san." Kasen said as he looked at Kyo a bit as something was odd about Kyo to him. "His only injuries from me is knocking him out so he could talk to his zanpakuto, everything else he done exhausted...." Kasen explained a bit of Kyo's injuries as he was wondering why he ever agreed to teach the boy in a lightning storm. "I have to leave for a session, I trust that you can take care of him Kei-san." Kasen said as he left the facility to attend to his session.
