She wasn't sure if she was imagining what she had heard, and was wondering if she had misinterpreted what Edge had said. Did he just...? Delaine wasn't sure if he could see her face clearly in the dim sewers, but she knew that he could read her like a book at times. "Feelings for another"? That and protection falls under friendship...right? Not wanting to hope for too much or let the atmosphere become awkward, Delaine pulled back from their embrace. She didn't know how to respond, and it infuriated her a little. This...emotion that prevented her to speak, how long had it been there, hiding? She didn't know the answer, which made it more frustrating. "Edge...um..." Delaine let her hands hold his, giving them a light squeeze. "Thanks..." She said, giving him a small smile.

Edge frowned a bit as Delaine pulled away from his embrace, but he hid it quickly. She obviously didn't feel the same way, but that was much better. Unfortunately, his life expectancy wasn't a long one... Well, that's what he believed. He smiled, hiding the fact he felt a bit weird from her pulling back, but it became a bit more real when she squeezed on his hand. He nodded his head as she thanked him. "Yeah, no problem..." His hand slowly slid out of her hold before he turned around and began walking. "Let's head back to the Geo-Fortress. Did Zenus(can't remember the name atm) give you the control device?" Edge remembered Zenus speaking of a device that would give them the ability to use a cannon and teleport them back to the base instantly.

Sora didn't say anything but just looked at them and smiled before standing up when he mentioned going back to the Geo-fortress
((Tomorrow, I am going out of town until monday Kunoichi will you control Sora for me? I don't really think he will need much controlling but will you?))

 The shadow creature above sensed people nearby....underground... it shifted around and found a manhole, only a small portion of the shadow went in, then the rest followed floating near the ceiling until it came near Edge. A few tendrils slowly went toward him to 'see' Edge better, then went back into the shadow, which then lowered itself to the ground and disappeared into Kirak's pendent as the unconscious boy lay on the floor.

"Edge, I don't think so." Delaine said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "We can't go back just yet. We can't risk going back, especially with your behavior from a few moments ago." She really wanted to go back, clean herself up, sleep in a bed again. However, she didn't want to risk going back to the base with Edge in his condition. The only thing Delaine could infer was that La Vaes was behind it, and that was reason enough to continue to the Crimson Fortress. Seeing a small ray of light some distance she froze, putting her guard up and was surprised to see the shadow creature. When the shadow reached for Edge she was on the brink of using another dark spell, no hesitation in her thoughts despite the risk of breaking her arm this time. However, she stopped seeing it retreat and the boy on the floor. "What...?" Delaine took a few steps toward the stranger, but halted. She didn't know what the shadow was, and wasn't sure if it was safe to approach the boy.

Sora peered curiously over at the boy laying next to them and carefully took a couple steps closer, a defense spell ready in his mind just in case as he got closer he lowered himself to the ground and knelt by the boy. "He is breathing...." He whispered looking over at delaine. "and he has a pulse..... he is alive" He stated feeling the boys pulse on his neck. it was kind of wierd but sora wasn't really scared of this boy.

Seeing that Sora was safe Delaine took cautious steps toward the boy on the ground. "Well, I don't know what's going on...but he needs some help." She didn't know anything about this boy, and knew that he might be a threat depending on what that shadow creature was, but she didn't have the heart to just leave him. "Maybe we will go back to the Geo-Fortress after all..." She looked back to Sora. "Do you think you can help me carry him?"
((Do you guys think a time skip straight to the Geo-Fortress in this is necessary?))

school sucks.. all the rp's I'm in are really slow now.))
Kirak was aware there were others around, but their voices sounded distant for some reason..there was another closer voice though, can you hear me now boy? who are you? ah, finally....that cursed seal had kept you asleep for years, but thanks to that careless young Le Vaes I broke free.. ...I see...but you didn't say.. yes, yes...I used to be a great warrior until the Le Vaes at that time used me in an experiment, just like you..except you were a human.. I remember some of that, but why are you in my head? I lost my physical body so my powers and mind were transferred to your body, most of my powers are sealed in the pendent to lessen the strain on your body.
Kirak remained motionless as Sora and Delaine spoke about what they were doing.

"yeah I can easy." he said lifting up the boy gently in his arms and lifting them off the ground, flying. "as long as I stay in the air it puts basically no strain on my body." He stated happily.
((gladly initiating timeskip!~!~!~!~! (if you guys don't mind)))
The group turned around and headed back the way the came and followed their tracks back to the geo fortress!
"He is still asleep... do you think he is ok?" Sora asked calmly but with a hint of worry in his voice, "he is still breathing and has a normal heart rate but he hasn't moved an inch since we departed..."

Delaine was happy to be back in the Geo-Fortress, even if she had preferred to face La Vaes before returning. Sighing she turned to Sora. "I think it would be best to care for him until he wakes up." She suggested, motioning down one hallway so that they can place him in a room. Looking at the boy she wondered where he had come from, and what that shadow creature was. The least they could do was make sure he had facilities, for now.

The two voices Kirak heard had gradually become easier to understand, he tried to get his body to move awhile ago with no success. Now his limbs tingled a bit and he managed to move his arm some, then opened his eyes and glanced around "...where....?" he looked from Delaine to Sora "...who...are you?"

"Oh your awake!" Sora said looking down at the boy he was still holding. "Please rest.. your body is weak.." He said as the boy began to move, it wasn't enough to cause sora to drop him but he did notice that the boy was starting to regain movement. "That is Delaine, and I am Sora, we are headed to a room right now so We can have a place for you to rest but until then you are stuck with me carrying you... sorry"

Finding a vacant bedroom Delaine opened the door, leading Sora and Kirak inside. She then fixed the bed quickly and fluffled the pillows so that Sora could easily let Kirak down. "As Sora said, my name is Delaine." She said with a small smile, wanting to be hospitable. "You can rest here, if you like." Allouette wasn't sure if she should ask for his name, then decided not to unless he felt comfortable to.

Kirak stopped moving when he realized Sora was carrying him "..why are you apologizing? I'm the dead weight." he saw the differences in the hallways and defiantly the people, it felt safer then the other place "..my name is...um...." he paused trying to remember what it was "..Kirak..."
(( crying wisdom teeth hurt. and meds don't do a thing..))

"Kirak... " Sora said placing him in the bed. "You're a demon or at least part demon... aren't you?" He asked bluntly looking into his eyes, he couldn't quite explain it but somehow he knew the boy was a demon. Sora looked over the boys body and blushed a little.. *he is.... kind of cute........ God damnit.... why cant I just like girls like everyone else!.......!* sora thought to himself cursing his confused mind body but then letting it go with a sigh and looked back over to delaine "he doesn't appear to be injured...." he stated looking back to kirak "Is there anything we can get you to make you more comfortable?"
(it was the demon blood sora that could Identify that kirak was a demon... but sora still doesn't know so he can't explain it.)
