MitsukaiMitsukai heard what he said and sighed. ‘You’re forgiven. And my power isn’t great, it’s an invasion of privacy. And don’t say otherwise.’ Mitsukai thought and felt herself tearing up again. She thought of what that kid said again. Oh s**t, she was still holding Thorne’s hand. Now he could tell exactly why she was crying earlier, since he noticed it.
‘Let’s go to the sports field.’ She thought and got up letting go of Thornes hand. Lunch was a hour period, so no worries. She grabbed her drink, her bag, and her glove she took off earlier, putting both her gloves in her bag. She headed to the sports field, not waiting on Thorne. She wanted to wait a few minutes before she talked to him; she had no idea what she’d say. He needed to be making up with Lorrie. He wanted to, she could tell. He wanted to so bad, it was in his heart. She could feel it when ever he grabbed her hands without the glove. And quite frankly, it made her upset.
Mitsukai pushed the thoughts out of her head and finished her walk to the sports field. She sat down at one of the bleachers and waited for him, letting a few tears fall before he showed up. She finished wiping her eyes and sighed. She grabbed her bag and grabbed her compact and fixed her slightly smeared makeup. She then observed her delicate hands. They were always soft and no harm to them since they were gloved. She then grabbed her compact and moved her hair from her face revealing the ubber small scar from the fight she had with that wolf dude her second year. She smiled at the memory remembering how Minron helped her back to her dorm. Joe didn’t even know till way later that night, since Minron kept him and everyone else away from her.

Alex turned away, it was rude of him to stare like that. He just thought for a moment, "Hmm... let me look..." He pulled out his schedule and smiled, "Okay... I have English 4, Biology, Power Control, Gym, and then Algebra 2, US History, Astrology, and Journalism. So... two classes I think." He smiled as the line move a little more. "Nice to meet you, Lorrie..."

O, it is excellent to have a giant's strength, but it is tyrannous to use it like a giant.
Put your life force into it? He figured it was like taking a bit of himself and sticking it to the piece of art. He closed his eyes and concentrated. This time he would do something simple. He drew a circle and breathed it to life. The ball fell to the ground and bounced back up to him. He concentrated on it, and it eventually as a bit of an extension of himself. He bounced between the ground and his hand like a basket ball. He opened his eyes and looked down at the ball. He grabbed it and tossed it to Mike. "Heads up!"
Millimeters from Mike's face, the ball poofed away. He glared at Jet, as if shooting daggers with his eyes. The child needed to be more serious, but he treated this power as if it were a toy. It was all right to be excited, but he couldn't act as if this were unimportant.
It was nearing lunch time. "Jet, you are released for the day. Your school work has been sent to your room. For your homework tonight, I want you to try to breathe life into art when Ms. Aura isn't around," He told him. Not that he much expected him to be able to. "And Aura, if you would give me your map, I will direct you to the office."

The belief in a supernatural source of evil is not necessary; men alone are quite capable of every wickedness.
So, she didn't hate that Thorne guy, but maybe she would be convinced to hate the other girl, Lorrie. Or maybe Lorrie could be convinced to hate the other girl. After all, after trying to repair things and make amends with the love of her life, another girl had swooped in and suddenly took him away.
He left for lunch and found both girls in there. Mitsu-whatever was with that Thorne guy and Lorrie was in line. He grabbed an empty seat, and waited for her to sit, so he could move next to her and try to manipulate.
Tell me something, my friend. You ever dance with the devil by the pale moonlight?

Every artist dips her brush in her own soul... I am Aura
Aura clapped happily that Jet had mad the ball stay longer than the others, he was a quick learner, that's for sure.. she thought to herself.
The look that Mike gave Jet when the ball disappeared made her think she should try and not get on his bad side, though it somewhat caused her to giggle a bit..
"Ah.. Okay. She stood up and walked over to him with the map. Her map had been hand drawn and though the outline of the buildings and rooms were good, the names of the rooms seemed to be off, and not only that she had been looking at it upside down. "I don't think I have caught your name yet.." She said with a warm smile as she held out the upside down map.

Using powers without the subject being around? He wasn't sure if he could do it. He never had before actually. He doubted he'd be able to, and he thought Mike doubted him too. He was determined to do it though.
"Bye!" He yelled to the two of them before leaving the room.
Mike grabbed the map and turned it right-side-up. "There's your first problem," He muttered as one of her pencils floated into his hand. He drew a circle, signifying where she was at right now and a path leading to an "X" where the office was. "Name's Mike..."
Jet jogged to the lunchroom, starving more than usual. He grabbed a plateful of food, mostly unhealthy, but still tasty. He sat at an empty table. He didn't have any friends yet and didn't want to invade any one else's personal space.

Adam chuckled softly at what Daina said. "Mmhmm. I was tempted to skip everything except lunch, but I thought, 'hey why not skip until the class before.'" He laughed again at what she said about Thorne. "I'm assuming he did something with his power, and with that kind of power you know Thorne would be fun to hang with." Remembering what she said about her first classes he began to ownder. "You had Chemistry this morning? Hey if it was your first class we have it together." He tore himself away from her and grabbed a tray as the line moved a little more. "Third class was okay, I have it wth Mitsukai. Apparently something happened I missed." The line moved enough so he could get his pizza again. "I was already in this line before, I beat the whole rush. But I upset L and she threw it away." He turned and grinned at her again.

Can I ask you a question please? //:Archimedes Primus++ . . . This was too good. Really, it was. The teacher wouldn't stop reading what he wrote on the screen. However, this fun lasted all of about five minutes. The teacher soon noticed the correlation between his typing and the words appearing on her screen, and quickly called him out on it. "Devon Primus!" she thundered. "You will stay after class to have a little chat with me." Devon groaned, smile dropping, as the rest of the class gave a collective drone of 'Oooooooo.' He sighed, closed his laptop, and leaned his palm against the side of his face. Lunch was next period, and he'd probably miss most of it. And he wasn't wrong. As the class filed out, Devon was standing before Ms. Klingon-faced McBitcherson, arms crossed and eyes rolled as she berated him for his inappropriate behavior. Fifteen minutes later, she smirked, and then seized him by the collar of his shirt.
"Wha—"
"We're going to have lunch now. You'll be sitting with me, actually," she said, sounding way too exultant about it. Crap. This would totally wreck his reputation. Not to mention it would suck in general. He had to get out of this, damn the consequences. As she frog marched him out of the room, he looked around for something, anything to release him from this. They were approaching the cafeteria. Crapcrapcrapthinkofsomething! He looked up, noticing the overhead sprinklers for when fires occurred. That would work. They walked a little more ways down, Devon now trailing his hand along the wall, and to anyone else it would look like he was just doing this idly; however, he was actually locating the fixtures before he clenched his fist. As he did this, the sprinklers in the ceiling of the hallway activated, effectively surprising his oppressor.
"Oh, dear, this is indeed a problem," he said easily, slipping out of her grip. "I'll go fetch the principal!" Of course that was a lie. Still, he sprinted down the hall, trying not to get too wet (though his hair was now damp and his clothes in the same condition), and ran through the cafeteria right into the back where the lunch ladies cooked the food. He waited a minute, watching his teacher stomp down the hallway through the cafeteria, looking very harassed and dripping wet, surely on her way to the principal's. Once she was gone, Devon breathed a sigh of relief. He knew she wouldn't be gone long, though, and he flipped his hood up over his telltale red hair, though only after shaking some of the excess water out of it. Ugh, he hated being wet. It was dangerous to use his powers whilst wet. Okay, damp, but still, not a good thing.
Why was the only thing he seemed capable of doing was causing trouble? This was not how you made allies, especially on the first day of school. His old friends and him used to be the class clowns of their middle school, always playing tricks and causing mayhem; it wasn't as satisfying by himself. He was sure Luc would have a hysterical laughing fit over what he did in the hallway moments before, and the thought dampened his spirits further. Apparently there were no people like that at this school. They all seemed to be goody-goodies, upstanding preps, all focused on 'love,' hot movie stars, clothes, and gossiping. Normally he'd talk to his dad about stuff, but well... those days were over. He sighed as he paid for his coffee, pizza pocket, single-serve bag of chips and a mini Bluebell ice cream cup, wondering what else could go wrong today. . . .
Promise you won’t laugh at me?

Lorrie Etterling She never slows down. She doesn't know why, but she knows that when She's all alone, it feels Like it's all coming down… “Oh that’s great!” Lorrie said in relief when he spoke. She had been worried that all her classes would be with strangers. She hated the whole new school thing, and wished she was at her old one where she knew everyone and they knew her. But here, she had to basically start over, and even though this was her junior year, it felt exactly like it was her freshman. Transferring sucked.
“Right back at ya.” Lorrie replied as the line moved ever slowly forward. They were at the front now and she sighed happily. Finally, food! She grabbed a cheese burger and a fuze, and looked around the cafeteria for somewhere to sit. Biting her lower lip anxiously, Lorrie couldn’t help but find her eyes travel to Thorne’s table. She wanted so much to go over there, and yet she felt the same desire to stay away. She wouldn’t be accepted over there, and Lorrie didn’t want to strain herself over a torturously awkward lunch. But then again, she didn’t want to sit alone either…Her eyes scanned the area till she was once again looking at Alex. Duh! She would sit with him. God, she could be so dense sometimes. Catching up with him, she fidgeted apprehensively, afraid he would say no, “Umm…Alex? Could I sit with you? I don’t really know anyone else so…” she trailed off as her eyes unwillingly flicked back to the table filled with Thorne’s friends, before she forced herself to focus on who she was talking to.
Her line of thought, however, was broken when a teacher looking obviously furious and drenched walked through the cafeteria. Lorrie couldn’t help but laugh as she unnecessarily pointed her out to Alex, but quickly turned around and stifled her laughter when the teacher searched for the perpetrator. Lorrie didn’t want to get in trouble just because she thought the teacher looked ridiculous dripping wet. “Looks like someone’s in trouble,” Lorrie remarked to Alex grinning. She won't turn around. The shadows are long, And she fears if she cries That first tear, The tears will not stop Raining down.

Daina looked at him skeptically. "Are you sure you didn't just sleep late?" She asked curiously. "Yeah, it was with his power, though I could do something of the sort..." She said with a smile as she started filling up her tray. Chicken fingers for her, with some french fries. "Chemistry...cool, well make sure you are in class on time two days from now." She said upon remembering that they had an a/b schedule. Four classes one day, then four different the next, back and forth. When he mentioned tht he upset his sister, she couldn't help but ask. "What did you do to upset L?" . Daina finished filling her tray, grabbing the ketchup, a bottle of Dr.Pepper, and a piece of cake.

Alex smiled and nodded, "Ummm... sure, sounds good to me. I'm sitting with my sister, Lily, over there." He pointed Lily out to her. He then noticed the she had been pointing at a teacher that was soaking wet. He turned around and bit his lip, trying to hold back his laughter, "That teacher looks really pissed right now." The teacher was in a rage and he felt bad for the victim that would be blame, either truly guilty or not. He looked at the girl as the line moved again.

[[ummm deadly drama if you read my post again, it doesn't say that Lorrie pointed Alex out. It does say however that she pointed out the teacher to Alex showing him what she was laughing at. And if you read Drakie Cakie's post it says that Archimedes used his power to turn on the sprinkler and the teacer obviously knew it was him, so she wouldn't accuse Alex out of the blue like that.]]

Adam laughed as he grabbed some fries and a bottle of water. "Don't worry, I'll be in class." When she asked about L he grimaced. "Ahh .. She gets grumpy when she wakes up late. She wasn't wearing her hat in lunch and I teased her about it, so she used her power to shut up my big mouth." He turned to Daina with a lopsided grin as he stepped out of the line, waiting for her before heading to the table.

Thorne Ramiro I'm strong on the surface, Not all the way through. I've never been perfect, But neither have you… [[That’s okay./sorry for late posting. I’ve been at a soccer tournament all day, and I’m going to be at one all Saturday and Sunday, too, and plus this was a long one smile ]] Thorne was glad when she forgave him. He hated when he was the object of someone’s upset. It made him feel extremely guilty, and having guilt was not his forte. Thorne’s brow furrowed in bewilderment when Mitsuaki accidentally recalled what was really bothering her. But before he could think further on it, Mitsukai abruptly decided they should go to the sports field to talk. Letting go of his hand, she walked away from him before he could get a word in edge wise. Sighing, Thorne stared at his sandwich sadly. It seemed he wouldn’t be having lunch either, today. He took a big bite out of his sandwich trying to postpone whatever it was she wanted to talk about, besides the obvious. Letting her get a head start, Thorne chewed slowly as he meticulously went through the reasons of why Mitsukai would even think that he was choosing Lorrie over her. He had not even talked to Lorrie since breakfast, so what incentive did she have to believe such a thing? Maybe, it was because of what the guy said, or maybe, it was because he kept giving her opportunities to know what was in his head, and she saw that he wanted to make up with Lorrie. He deserved that, though, Thorne thought getting slightly irritated. If she could go and be buddy buddies with her ex, then he could with his. She was being selfish, and it was extremely unfair. Here he was going out of his way to save a two day friendship, when his old sweetheart was just waiting for him to come to her, yet Mitsukai was upset that he have even considered going to Lorrie. He hadn’t even done anything yet! Ugh…overdramatic women.
Thorne sighed heavily as he stood. He reckoned he should probably go after her now. Saying goodbye to everyone, Thorne could help but mutter, “Just kill me now,” but too quietly for anyone to hear. Truthfully, he wouldn’t especially mind if God decided to smite him then and there. He couldn’t help but wonder if God was punishing him mentally because he couldn’t feel physical pain. Grabbing his mostly uneaten sandwich and water, Thorne headed out of the cafeteria throwing out both items as he went. On his way to the stadium, Thorne distracted himself for several seconds by looking at the grass, the sky, the field, the school building, anything to postpone what he was steadily approaching…his eternal doom.
Arriving at the bleachers, Thorne took a seat next to Mitsukai. Resting his elbow on his knees and his head in his hand, he looked over at Mitsukai from the corner of his eye. He immediately noticed the small scar that he had never seen before. He was curious, but refrained from speaking. This wasn’t the time or place especially with a more abstruse subject at hand. Thorne exhaled heavily as he waited for Mitsukai to speak. She wanted to come out here, so therefore she gained the honor of speaking initially as well. When my time comes, Forget the wrong that I've done. Help me leave behind some Reasons to be missed.
