"And so I must send for another messenger." The bishop sighed aloud. "At least you're feeling better, little one. My staves work on all..."
Eying the crowd... Victoria picked out another of the messengers scurrying to and fro. What was that large one's name again? The one that I saw in the arena? Ah... "This is a message for Steely Dan." She handed him the call. "I sensed a suspicious presence heading towards the FEFGA manor... make sure he knows that a bishop sensed this magical presence. I must stay here with the little one."
"Of course, Milady." The messenger took the letter she offered, one of the ones on special stationary that the record keepers looked over. Soon, the message would reach them... and fate would reveal who the Ancient user truly was.
"Now..." Victoria smiled down at Ed. "You want to go somewhere inside?"

As FD and Nils finally reached their small home, Nils took a seat in one of their upholstered chairs and dug himself into it, releaved to be home. FD opened their curtains so that they might be able to see when their friends were headed to the FEFGA manor, for what he was hoping could turn in to an after party - so that they might have a clue as to when to travel their themselves. He then took a seat in the chair adjacent to Nils and watched the window to see how the festival was progressing.

(( Aiyeee yai yai i've got alot of catchign up to do X_x;;; sewing/crafting has eaten up my time))
After being separated from Alihi and Amara (for the two agreed to go their own way around the festival), Ephraim wandered the stands, got a couple of steak skewers and a drink at one stand while he bought a piece of grilled fish from another stand. Perhaps he should return to the manor...there wasn't much left for him to do..
Deciding against returning for the time being, Ephraim wandered sides of the festival he hadn't seen just yet.
((Derp ))

Well, Victoria was a healer who just helped her. Ed couldn't really think, but she figured Victoria knew what was best. She bleakly glanced up at Ganon and blinked hard to get his face into focus. Everything seemed to be leaning in one direction, and then the other... Was it just her? Yeah, probably...
Ed nodded again at Victoria, closing her eyes now. Just being awake drained her energy...

"Ganon... I think she'll be fine now." Victoria said to the reptilian bard while she hid her Recover staff away under her long scarf.... "The most important thing is that we find the source of this darkness, however. I have a bad feeling."

Standing uup, Ziaram asked, "How about you and I try to search for this darkness, and Ganon can stay here with Ed?"

"Search for it? A good idea..." Victoria replied to him. Many thoughts raced through her head, how everyone was calling the darkness familiar. Don't tell me it's that Ancient user who attempted my abduction back in Springtime! If it was that stupid boy again, then Victoria would be convinced that her own prejudices are true: all of them got swallowed by their own magic. "We'll go there... where I sensed it heading. Fefga's manor. We'll have plenty of backup after I called that giant I just saw at the arena."

Ganon closed his eyes as he finished his song, and he carefully slung his guitar over his back before he picked Ed up again. "I'll take Ed somewhere safe, then, and see if I can meet you up there." Leaving Victoria and Ziaram to investigate whatever odd occurrence they apparently perceived, Ganon took off around the corner with Ed to find her home.
Magnet looked up as Leon stirred, sighing as he peeled the sock off his robe and tossed it into the corner of the Watch house's small infirmary. "Relax, Leon. Lie back down, you took a nasty blow to the head," the young priest added, pushing ineffectually on Leon's chest with the head of his staff. "You, for one, really need to learn when the Captain is yanking your chain."

"Yankin' m'chain?" Leon protested, and yet he had no strength to even push the staff away that was forcing him to lay down. "He sounded pretty serious to me..." D:<
Well, it was true enough! Captain Dan never changed his tone when he said it, so Leon couldn't tell if he was just joking, or if he was honest. Another flaw. The fact that the Lieutenant picked them out so easy bugged him, as Dan WAS his only hero and idol.
Still, he'd better listen to his fellow recordkeeper if he was wise. Magnet knew how to keep him from being laid up for about a month's time like he was before. Ah, if only he could have been there to mend his leg! "I'll listen to ya, cuz ya know what yer sayin... ya know more 'bout medical stuff than me. Ya prob'ly saved me more times then I coulda counted on m'fingers n' toes... I shoulda realized ya were worried an' not naggin'. Sorry."

"I'll trust you..." Victoria whispered to Ganon, before turning to Ziaram and letting her smirk fall into a more neutral, serious expression. "Let's go... and let's hurry."

Lance almost flinched as Blossom wrapped her arms around him. His face went from tan to red, and his body stiffened up. Despite his usually confident demeanour around women, he was incredibly insecure around them, and when something like this happened, he had no idea how to react. He was quiet for a little while, before managing to stutter. "W-well, I appreciate the c-concern! Always good to know I have friends to rely on, ha, ha ha! But really Blossy, hugging is over the top! Y-you'll make Aidy jealous!" he said as he carefully wringed himself out of her hug. "I'm Lance Dartel after all, few women can resist my charm! Hahahaha!" Lance laughed loudly yet very stifled, making it a bit more apparent that he was embarassed by the hug, and that it was merely an excuse not to hug her, as he didn't want anything to happen he had no control over.
Instead, he stretched out his arm and pointed in some direction. "But today, there's been enough angst! Come on, Aidy, Blossy! Lead the way! Let's enjoy the rest of the carnival! Bwahaha!"
Lance needed the two of them to go first, so they couldn't see Lance's face at the moment. He didn't want to give anyone the wrong expression anymore than he had already done.
((Long since overdue, but there. :3 Go lead Lance into action! 8D ))

As FD sat looking out the window, a number of people had headed towards FEFGA's Manor already. Seriously, he'd seen Isadora run by, Amelia go by, what looked like the girl named Mika from October -which perplexed him-, and a bunch of people he didn't recognize. They had all gone at different intervals but more and more seemed to be going through the later it was. And there had been a strange shock or change in energy! Surely something was going to happen. It gave FD goose bumps - which he considered a manifestation of his excitement for what he was hoping was an after party. "Kaoru, it looks like somethings happening at FEFGA's Manor," he said to Nils as he got up and prepared to head out. "We can't miss out on it!" He got ready to leave, checking his pockets to verify the small box in it he might have the oppurtunity to use at FEFGA's, almost giddy in his mind at the thought of being able to. "Are you ready?"

Something was wrong. Very, very wrong. Nils couldn't tell what, though. All that he knew was that something was going to happen. And, like his companion, he didn't want to sit around and wait for whatever was happening to take effect.
Nils gave a small nod to FD. "Give me a moment..." He quickly ran to where he was keeping his equipment in a small, ordinary-looking box. There was a moment of hesitation when he opened the lid, finding himself staring at an ebony flute and small, clear stone. The bard shook his head, grabbing the third and final item from the box, a golden flute, and closing the lid firmly.
To put it bluntly, Nils didn't think he would ever be able to use the cursed flute or dragon stone ever again, after the rather... interesting experiences during Easter. He still hadn't forgiven himself.
He ran back to FD's side, clutching the flute he grabbed tightly in his hand. "Let's go." He stated simply.

A messenger came rushing in, a letter clutched in his hand. He knew better than to give it to anyone than either of the two recordkeepers, as Steely Dan had a bad habit of tossing his letters in the trash can after holding them upside down. "Lieutenant Leon... Medical Officer Magnet..." he held out the letter in the Watch's stationary.
"A call to action? Finally!" Leon sprung with joy. This sure beat the arena. He was good in real battle after all. "Huh, just a Shaman? No, Druid seen going towards Fefga's... got it."
The messenger nodded, leaving the knight alone for a while with his healer friend...
"Magnet, I'm headin' out. I'm gonna stop this druid, who'ever they may be. Ya gotta help the Cap'n an' the others stay alive, 'kay? I'll be back." The brunette didn't even give the healer time to reply, as he took his poleaxe right off the wall it rested on. He felt alive, much more alive now... he was about to fight at last after being out of action for so long. A magic user, by the name of Falchion, he hated them. His only weakness. He'd have to finish this 'druid' he heard of heading towards the manor quickly.
