(^_^ thank you Ryou.)

Lakayna woke up hours later from the nightmare she had every night. She sat bolt upright in bed and as she predicted, was swaeting and hyperventalating. She looked out her bedroom window once she managed to calm herself down. She could tell that it was still very early in the morning, hours before dawn and still more time before the next day of school started. She sighed softly to herself. Lakayna could hear her father's light snoring in the bedroom ajacent to her own, meaning he was in a deep sleep. She got out of bed, not bothering to put any shoes on. Lakayna put on a light coat over her perfect itting nightgown and slipt quietly out of her bedroom window. Though the window was on the second story, there was a roof right under it that sloped slightly downward, off of which the dragon girl jumped and landed without a sound. It was chilly in the early morning, but Lakayna didn't mind it much at all. Putting her hands into the pockets of the red hooded sweater, she walked away from the house and down the hill it was on towards the beach that was close to it. Lakayna sat on the cool sand, hugging her knees as she looked out over the calm water that had a reflection of the sparkling stars and waning crescent moon.

Lux stood on the beach, he didn't have any where to go anyone to see so it didn't matter. His spear was in the sand, the shaft could be seen but not the head which was burried in the sand, wrappened around his right arm all the way to his shoulder was a chain and a large crescent shaped object was on his back. He was happy that he was out of his school uniform, he didn't like it at all he prefered his normal clothes which wasn't much just a long jacket a pair of black jeans and a menacing belt. He wasn't looking really where he was he didn't have his sight instread he just listened to the waves.

Lakayna sat there on the sand for hours, never moving, never looking away from the water. Even as the sun finally broke the horize a few hours later, Lakayna sat still as stone. When the sun was fully up, she knew she had to move. Her father wouldn't be up just yet, so she got up and snuck back into her bedroom window, which she had left open. Going into the bathroom on the second floor, Lakayna undressed and stepped into a cold shower in an attempt to wake herself up. She went through the motion automatically; getting dressed in her school clothing, brushing her teeth and hair, gathering her things, grabbing something for on the go and some munny for lunch and leaving just before her father woke up. She got to school at 6:30; a half hour early, as she usually did; and sat in the lunchroom where there were, right now, just a few kids. Lakayna watched people and cars pass on by, waiting to see her friends once more.

Namine
Miss Memory Witch

User Image"Hmm?" Namine murmured as Kairi turned to face her after a moment of silence. The red head hesitated before answering, causing Namine to turn and face her as well. When the girl did speak, the blonde listened quietly and smiled when Kairi blushed. It was so obvious to every body how Kairi and Sora loved each other. Obvious to everyone but the two of them it seemed. And then Kairi asked if there was someone whom Namine felt that way about. Of course, there was. But Kairi didn't know. A blush spread across her cheeks, staining the porcelain skin a rosy red. "Yes. There is somebody. Somebody I care very much about," she replied quietly, looking out over the waves again. The girl contemplated telling Kairi who, but decided against it but would give the girl hints. "You know him, and you love him as a really good friend..." Was all that Namine said.

Blinking she focused more as she realized how dark it was getting. Wow. It was pretty late. They'd spent a lot of time sitting and talking at the beach. Time seemed to fly by whenever the blonde was with her friends. She smiled as she turned back to Kairi, standing up and helping the crimsonette to her feet as well. As the blonde brushed off her skirt, she spoke in her gentle tone. "If you guess correctly, I'll let you know who it is." The girl was speaking about the one she held dear, the one special to her; the one she cared about in a different way than the rest. "But now, it's getting late and we should probably head back. We both have homework that needs to be done." The Nobody stepped forward and wrapped her arms around Kairi in a hug. Then she released the girl and said, "See you tomorrow!" With that she turned around and walked back up the beach towards the town.

Namine took the now-familiar-route back up to her house and she rummaged through her bag until she found the key. Upon finding it she put it in the lock and turned; the door swung open and she pulled the key out before entering and shutting the door behind her, making sure to lock it. The petite blonde spent the rest of her time doing homework and she showered later on. When it was around ten she thought herself tired enough to sleep so she'd walked up to her room and into her bed. In moments she was fast asleep.

The blonde woke up early, and she went through the routine of putting on her clothes and brushing her hair and teeth before gathering her things and putting them in the bag. Her movements were unconcious, something her body did while her mind raced ahead. She hadn't seen Riku yesterday after he'd run off and she was almost completely panicked with worry. Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves the girl left her house and walked up to the school; school wasn't to start until another half hour but she couldn't just sit still and do nothing until then. Because Namine knew she'd imagine worst case scenarios that Riku could've gotten himself into. The petite blonde made her way inside the school and followed the hallway that led to the cafeteria, hoping that someone she knew would be there. Luckily, someone was. Her crystaline eyes spotted Lakayna as she stepped into the lunchroom and the blonde smiled as she made her way over towards the girl's table, sitting down opposite her. "Hey, Lakayna. I'm glad to see you're better," the girl said, true sincerity ringing in her voice. Though her attention was on Lakayna, her thoughts were still on Riku, hoping she'd see him soon and desperately hoping he hadn't done something to get himself hurt.

Lux left the beach his house was right next to the beach it was rather small but he didn't care. He took off jacket and weapon placing them on the bed, then all he did was put on the school shirt. He then grabbed a small violin case. He looked at it and then left for school, when he finally got there he walked into the lunch room noticing Lakanya and someone else. He didn't want to bug them so he just walked over to a table nearby and sat down, he fiddled with the handle on the case for a bit. His vision was blurring, and due to the fact his vision was only granted to him because of darkness it was practically rolling off of him.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.”

Riku had left almost immediately after Axel ran after Hikari in a huff. He'd walked home with a cigarette between his lips again. He'd rip him up later for letting her away. He would've gotten who she was out of her eventually. He got home and his parents were out, leaving dinner out on the table for him but he went to sleep without it. The next morning he woke up early and got to school on time. He was going to try to find Hikari and demand answers from her again. He stood outside and finished off his morning smoke. He had been smoking more with Hikari's appearance.

He crushed it under his boot and plastered on a calm facade before walking into the lunchroom. He saw Namine and walked over. He sat down beside her and smiled. "Hi Namine. Feeling better?"

A portal opened some distance near Lakayna sat, with Hikari emerging from it. The silvernette didn't notice the girl as she headed towards town, deep in thought. She folded her arms as she thought about the meeting she had with the King.

--Flashback Sequence--

A portal opened in the bright white halls of the Disney Castle. The time was midday, with light fluffy clouds against a blue sky. Hikari walked swiftly into the throne room, finding the King, Donald and Goofy. "King Mickey!" her voice echoed in the grand room. "I need to speak with you!" she demanded. After a few minutes, the King got Goofy and Donald to leave the room and do other errands, leaving Hikari and Mickey alone.

"Your Majesty, I need to tell Riku who I am!" she said urgently. "But Hikari! You promised that you wouldn't tell him!" the king squeaked.

"I didn't tell him yet, but he sensed the darkness within me. He tried to hit me, Your Majesty!" she exclaimed, sighing and then kneeled to the ground, looking down at her hands. "The darkness is still festering in his heart. If he knew who I was then maybe I can help him control it better. You have to let me tell him, please?" she begged. The king sighed and walked over to her, putting his white gloved hand on her shoulder. "Welp, if ya gotta tell him, make sure you know when to. Let me know how it turns out, okay?" he asked, making a smile. Hikari looked at him, nodding. "Thank you, Your Majesty."

--End Flashback Sequence--

Gathering up her bag, which was still under the bush near the school from the day before, Hikari brushed it off and shouldered it, walking inside the building. Now that she had gotten her permission from the King, she knew that it was only a matter of time before Riku would try to corner her again, but this time she would be ready.

Namine
Miss Memory Witch

User ImageNamine had been patiently waiting for Lakayna to answer; she'd dropped her eyes from her friend's face and had instead been staring at the table top. Until somebody slid into the seat beside her. Her eyes flickered up and she released her breath, giving an inaduible sigh of relief. Riku was alright. Her blue orbs met his teal ones and a new emotion took over.

Now that she could think clearly with her worry for him out of the way, she realized she was upset with him. He didn't need to run off on his own! He could've gotten hurt! They were all in this together; he wasn't alone. Not anymore. The girl looked away from him, but not before the hurt and anger had flashed in her eyes. "Much, thank you." She replied quietly, her tone almost clipping. The girl internally struggled with her emotions, wrestling to get them under control. When she looked back up at him, her expression was smooth and blank. Of course, the blonde didn't like being mad at him, she didn't want to be either. But she couldn't help the fact that she was.

Kairi

User Image

Kairi's face began to cool when Naminé answered her question. "Ah," Kairi smiled, leaning forward and putting her chin on her knees, "I'm glad." The crimsonette turned her head toward the blonde and said smiling, "I'm happy for you guys."

Kairi hadn't noticed how late it was until Naminé had got up, helping the red head to her feet as well. When the petite blonde spoke again Kairi giggled her response, "Fair enough. I have a hunch, but yes it's getting late and that homework isn't going to do itself. I'll tell you my guess tomorrow.
"
When her Nobody stepped forward and hugged her, Kairi returned the hug. As Naminé turned and walked up into the town Kairi waved goodbye to her.

Kairi walked along the shore for a while, watching the moon rise. She finally walked towards the town and to her house. She pulled out her key from her bag, unlocked the door, opened it, entered the house, and closed and locked the door behind her. She walked into the kitchen and made herself some dinner, which she then took upstairs with her to eat while she did her homework in her room. When she finished her homework around 11:00pm she went and changed into her PJs and brushed her teeth. She grabbed her bag and pulled out her Thalassa Lucky Charm and set it on her bedside table. She turned off the light then crawled into bed.

The princess woke to the sound of her alarm clock. She lifted her hand and hit the snooze button. After 5 minutes it went off again, and the crimsonette reluctantly got out of bed. She took a quick shower, ate breakfast, grabbed her things, and headed off to school. When she got there she decided to head to the cafeteria first to see if any of her friends were there. She opened the door and spotted Lakayna, Naminé, and Riku at a table. She walked over to them and waved, "Hey guys."

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.”

"Hey, what's wrong?" Riku asked as he put his hand over hers. She looked up at him with a smooth and blank expression. Riku took his hand away as he stared at her in confusion. Did she know about him using his Darkness? If so, she'd be pissed. Riku sighed and stood up. As much as he cared for Namine, he didn't have time to deal with her being pissed at him. He had to worry about other things. "Well, I'll just see you later. Oh, hi Kairi."

Kairi

"Hiya Riku," Kairi smiled. "Hey, are you okay? You ran off yesterday and I saw that hooded figure. The Organization's not here is it?" she asked the silvernette worriedly. She remembered all to well being kidnapped by them, and the trouble and pain they caused for her and her friends.

Upon reaching the school, Hikari soon realized that because of everything that happened yesterday, she had forgotten to do her homework. With a light sigh, she walked out to the quad area, sitting down on a concrete table and pulled out her notebook and started doing some of her biology homework. It felt rather trivial to learn about the parts of a flower when all her life she had been destroying worlds that grew them. Still she supposed that the past is finally behind her and she can start to learn things normal kids learn in school--like photosynthesis.

"Hm? Ah, no. I'm fine." He was slightly shocked to hear Kairi's hypothesis. He shook his head. "No, their's no more Organization here than Axel and namine as of now. Don't worry." Riku had been slowly turning as he spoke. he wanted to continue his search before first period.

"I'm glad to hear that," Kairi said giving Riku a small smile. She then gave a sigh of relief and said, "Ah okay that's good to hear." . Riku was slowly turning as he spoke so Kairi knew he was headed somewhere. She looked up at the silvernette and said, "I'll see you later Riku. Take care of yourself." She gave him a quick hug goodbye then walked over to Naminé and Lakayna and sat down with them.

Namine
Miss Memory Witch

User ImageIt was very, very hard to stay mad at Riku when he put his hand over hers, asking her what was wrong. She could see the concern and confusion in his eyes and her own softened a tiny bit as she gazed up at him. The silvernette pulled his hand away and Namine switched her gaze back down to the table again as he stood up. No doubt he was planning to go off and search again. But why did he have to do it on his own!? Him leaving her to search for the person behind the cause of the Darkness both worried her greatly and caused her to be anxious. Well, she had second and third period with him to talk to him then. He could leave if he wanted. The girl was careful to keep her voice blank just like her expression had been a few moments before. "Alright. See you in class," she murmured in reply.

Kairi had bound up a few moments before and Namine still didn't look at anybody, she remained looking down at the table. The crimsomnette and silvernette began speaking briefly but Namine didn't chime in. She was trying to gather her thoughts so she'd be able to explain to Riku later why she was upset. She could tell without looking that the boy was slowly walking off as he'd answered Kairi, heading off to find the person again. Namine desperately wanted to stop him, to make him stay here with her. The girl figured now was a good of time as any to explain why she was upset.

"Riku, wait." Her tone was softer now and her voice quiet, yet loud enough for the silvernette to hear. After a moment of thinking about it, she shook her head. "Nevermind. I'll see you later." She said, knowing he had other things on his mind. It would just have to wait.
