 Marrianna looked Kaleel in the eyes, his concern seemed genuine. "Yeah." Marrianna began. "It just, feels weird in here. It felt kinda odd outside too." Her eyes widen slightly. Of course! Why didn't I recognize it before! Marrianna stood and looked around. "There's a demon near by!"

Marrianna turned towards Kaleel with a glare. "Well excuse me if I have a grudge with demons!" Her sudden hostility surprised even her. Mood swings like that didn't happen very often. "I'll be back in a moment." She stormed out of the building to see the demon not too far from where she was. And he was talking to a guard! "What the hell!?"

Kaleel walked out to see what everything was about. "Oh that's just Luke. Don't worry he's only half-demon. He's a good guy."

Marrianna nearly laughed at how calm Kaleel was with the situation in contrast with her own reaction. "A half-demon?" The surprised look on Marrianna's face turned to a scowl. "Half or full, I don't care! He's still a demon!"

"Obviously demons have done something pretty horrible to you personally." Kaleel said. "But Luke's done enough to show that he has a good heart and has killed his fair share of demons as well."

Marrianna held her glare, unwavering. "It's not just me. They started this war! Slaughtering everyone in their path!" Marrianna's heart rate increased as she began to breathe heavier. After a moment, she began to calm slightly. Turning to Kaleel, her glare faded to a blank stare. "Fine... I'll take your word for it." She walked past the blonde with her stomach still growling.

Kikyo waved good bye to Luke, then she walked deeper into the town. She decided to keep an eye on things inside the city for now.

Dealthi sighed. The sun was reaching it's highest point in the sky, and his troops would be arriving soon to decimate the town. "Enough with the apples, Purity. I'm sure that there will be more at the next town," he chided, taking the bag that Purity was rooting through from the horse. She whickered in protest. "Don't talk back," Dealthi replied with the hint of a smile playing about his features. "I'll make it up to you later, I promise." Leading his white horse by the reins, Dealthi walked to the center fountain of the town, and took one last look around. Humans, he thought. What curious creatures they are, so short-lived and unaware at the same time. With the hot afternoon sun beating at his back, Dealthi began the walk through the main gates of the town, his white hair shining in the light.

As he left the town, Dealthi laughed mirthlessly. Those foolish humans... he thought. Living so close to the battlefront and yet not reinforcing their guards... Once he left the gate and walked for a distance, Dealthi sensed his troops waiting in the forest just outside of the gate. Spotting a dull gleam of armor shining in the trees, Dealthi firewalked with Purity to rejoin them.
"Are preparations complete?"
"Yes, sir. All the maggots are armed and ready to feast," the lesser demon chuckled.
"Very well. You may begin."
As the word spread amongst the troops like wildfire, their restlessness grew, until Dealthi couldn't stand it any longer.
"What the hell are you waiting for?"
With that, the demon troop roared, and charged towards the town like a black tide shining in the afternoon sun. Dealthi sighed, and mounted Purity, still stationed behind the roiling wave before him.

(for the record im full demon at the moment..you dont know im full demon b ecause only Kikyo is aware of it..its kinda obvious tho..)
"oh..of course..im sorry.." Luke said as he looked around and noticed he was being watched. "excuse me" He said as he walked toward the people that were watching.
