Kai laughed as he looked at the note and smiled at her.

Hotaru frowned. "No. I only read it. Why?" She asked him as she finished eating and started cleaning up the table.

He absentmindedly handed her his plate as he continued reading.
"Because, with your handwriting, you could win some awards."

Hotaru laughed as she put the dishes in the sink and started to run the water. "You can't win awards on handwriting alone." She countered as she started washing the dishes.

"Well then, I want you to write a three line poem for me, about me."

Hotaru frowned. "That's an order." She muttered, not even needing to ask. "You want a haiku?" She asked him, it was the only three line poem she knew of. She always thought they were stupid and rarely made sense when translated to English.

Kai nodded.
"Yes, but write it in english, not in japanese.
It is possible, I have seen it done, finish it whenever you want to, but by the end of tonight."
He smirked.
"I have another thing I want to teach you tonight."

Hotaru nearly dropped the dish she was drying in her hand when he said that. She glanced over her shoulder at him and sighed as she tried to think of the poem while she finished the dishes and put away the left overs in the fridge. By the time she was finished she had the poem in her head. With a sigh she grabbed a blank piece of paper from her sketchbook and sat across from him as she quickly wrote the Haiku. She signed it at the bottom and shoved it over to him. "There." She said as she shoved it across the table at him.

Kai read it over and smiled.
"Thank you Hotaru."
He didnt comment any further on the comment about teaching her until about an hour later.
"So, I dont guess your too enthused about what I am going to teach you are you?"
He smirked knowing she couldnt lie.

Hotaru bit her lip, not wanting to answer. She couldn't lie if she answered, but if she didn't answer at all then she wasn't breaking any rules.

He laughed and shook his head.

Hotaru grit her teeth. "A little." She admitted as she blushed brightly and ducked her head. She chewed on her lip as she usually did while nervous.
