hello im Night, i play the tau, and im in the process of making a Imperial guard army. my favorite unit would have to be the crisis suite ^^

Well howdy There Wolfie and welcome to the guild. We already have some Tau players here, and I'm sure there are a couple people who have insight on the guard. If you have any guild related Q's Dartstriker is our captain and Isis is our Vice Captain and they're always happy to help. mrgreen

Hi, names Jon...i first was interested in WH40K awhile ago...and i saw a pic of an army and thought "WOW! It be cool to play them!" ...then a few years ago they came out and are now known as the Tau
The Tau is what i play as, but im also looking into the different factions of the Space Marines just to switch my playing up with some with my friends. I just startd playing two months ago. Me and my friends are still learning that we play wrong but its getting better. Even my brothers and a friends brother are into it, and last week we had a small tournament at my house. ...It didnt go as well as i hoped sweatdrop We still played wrong a good bit and for some of us, it was their first time playing. So we decided not to count this one...since we only did the first rounds anywho.
Well, i hope to learn more and maybe put my two cents in when i can

Hi. I am Vharing. I have been playing warhammer for about 5 or 6 years. The armies I play are Blood Angels, Slannesh Chaos, Dark Eldar, and Necron. I have played Blood Angels and Dark eldar in some local tournaments and stuff. It was pretty fun. Dark Eldar really scare people because not many know what they are capable of.

wow. you know what? I've been a member of this guild for a little while and have posted a few things, but now that I think about it, I dont think I have properly introduced myself yet. I thought I did, but I guess that was me filling out the guild application thingy.
So here goes: Im Eccentric_M and I play orks. I dont really play them to win games (its kinda hard when you have a nine-year old codex,) but I love their fluff and conversion opportunities. I have about 3000 points worth of free booterz.

I know we've seen you around every now and then, the intro is more of a "we would like" then a "intro or die" kinda thing but thanks for taking the time to repost. right where to start...
I'm a 40K player, i own 3 1,500 point armies (technically) of Witch Hunters (with Black Templar ally), a full 1,500 point Black Templar army and a Iron Warriors (chaos undivided) spin-off. Also looking to add a heavily Ravenwing based dark angel army - also of 1,500 points eventually.. and a speed freeks/Kult of speed army... maybe a tau too...
I'm British (you have no idea how many people miss the flag in my sig... or ask if I'm English), I'm 20+ and occasionally play 40k, however I also play dawn of war (DoW, winter assault and dark crusade) regularly. feel free to pm about a match (tho i prefer comp stomps to out and out fighting), or catch me as chaotic_neko in the lobbies (tho I rarely go there unless i have a game setup).
I adore painting despite being kinda crap at it and am known to cannibalise my bits box out of boredem and create very chaotic/Orky constructions or messing around conversion wise. Other thanthe odd game and what I can convert or paint one of the biggest draws to 40k for me is the fluff - everything from Rogue Trader through to Damnation Crusade/the new dark angels codex.
Think that about covers it... other than I've been dabbling with 40k for about 2-3 years now, maybe as much as 4 after spending much of my time thinking about starting up.

Vharing Dark Eldar really scare people because not many know what they are capable of. very much so after taking part in the Medusa V campaign and facing down some little kid with what seemed to be very questionable rules... or at least untill we was allowed our squads killed in a certain turn to be brought back onto the battlefield =3 god bless meltaguns and power weapons... killed some squad or other by detonating their own transport as they disembarked then charged for a massacre...
